And when I arrived, a sweet Asian woman came out of one of the rooms. It was a very strange arrangement in the entrance. It almost looks like at one time. It was the entryway of the home that it was in. Things that were weird? She asked me to pay upfront and wanted me to put the tip on there upfront. And I told her I would do the tip afterwards. She looks surprised. When she brought me to have the massage, she brought me downstairs into the basement. There was no light on the stairs, and when we got to the basement room, she had turned on a space heater so I could be worked on. Was it cold in there? Let's just say it wasn't warm. But it wasn't freezing either. I'm just thinking she really doesn't understand massage much. She did just a lot of hand rubbing like a person rubs your back when you're crying, you know? There was no needing of my muscles. And she did keep asking me if the pressure was OK. So I did appreciate that. It just was... Mid. There are too many other places to go that are much better than she. Maybe it was just her? I don't know. I just got a really weird vibe and honestly couldn't wait to get out of there. I wish I was wrong, but it is what it is.

Love the fact the can take walk in and last minute appts. The owner was very accommodating and very responsive. I walked in in the room and it was very pleasing but a little warm. The music that was playing was radio static rock music which I thought the therapist would change...boy was a wrong. I tried to relax and the music was so distracting that 15 mins into the massage I had to ask the lady to turn off the music. She then said she didn't know how to. So I had to show here how to. (-_O). I also had to tell her several times I would like more pressure on my massage and it still wasn't adequate enough. The cupping session was a joke. She had NO idea how to. She tried to several times suctioning the cup in the air and then putting the cup on my back. The cup kept falling off. She even mentioned that she didn't know why it wasn't working. So again I had to get up exposing myself more than I like and show her she had to put the cup on my back first and then use the suction. I knew when she started suctioning she still was not doing right because of the pressure. When time came, she said oh only one took out the toxin from your body. (That's cuz only one of the 20 cups had the correct pressure). ‍. Another thing that I didn't like was a couple times when I was laying on the massage table, almost bare naked she stepped out of the room to get something and the door remained open. At the end the lady said it will be $150. (0_0). Well like g story short, the owner was very apologetic and said the lady was new and deducted $20. If I'm in the area again I may give it a try again but for now, I will save my money and go elsewhere.

There was however 1 masseuse (female) that was really rude for no good reason. I was having a foot massage and the place was dead, so my gf asked to sit in the massage chair next to me. One of the nice masseuses said absolutely and out of nowhere came this mean lady who pointed rudely to the chairs across the room. Then after my gf decided to join in, she got the same lady that told her to sit on the other side. Lol. I had to use the restroom at one point and my masseuse was going to stop the timer. But the same rude lady who was working on my gf stopped to tell her not to (in Chinese). I was a bit incredulous to even hear her tone of voice. It was like we were annoying her to even be there. The room isn't very dark, and some street noise interferes with 100% relaxation, but Kara has strong and skillful hands, and did a great job finding & working on some serious knotted muscles for me. I was happy to see that she uses a safe, natural, unscented massage oil, with vitamin E and aloe and all kinds of good things in it (and almost no soy.) I didn't need a shower afterwards at all, it just soaked into my dry winter skin and was beneficial to me, just like the massage was to my snow-shoveling muscles. The on-line booking system works well, and there is ample parking in the private lot behind the building, which is close to Rt. 128 and very easy to find. I got there early to do paperwork, but there was very little. I was in and out on time, I believe getting the full 60 minutes or very close to it. This a clean and beautifully decorated suite she is in, nicer than most places I've been to. Comfy heated table, too. Emerald will be on my short list when I need another massage.

He asked me to get an ambulance to take him home. I got up and ran over there. Went to the nurses station and told them that I knew they were very busy and I will come every hour to give the medications to my husband. They were alarmed from the offer and admitted that they didn't even have the medication! I offered to go to a 24 hour pharmacy if they will hand over the prescription. No way. My poor husband had to lay in bed crying of pains until morning. Occupational Therapy consist of "teaching" him to fry an egg. He had to clean the frying pan first and then threw the egg to the trash. The food for the patients was horrible to look at, so I brought him food from home. He was supposed to stay there two weeks but asked me to get him out after one week. He just couldn't stay there longer. Horrible place! When our Primary found out where my husband did his "rehabilitation", his remark was "who is going there?" Don't go there and don't even visit there. They save on light bulbs, the place is dark and depressing and nobody ever sat in the bare lobby for just "watching the crowd pass by". Bad, bad, place!!

She immediately could pin point what was wrong and believed she could fix in a good amount of sessions. Unfortunately with being out of network and how much it would cost me I am unable to move forward with being treated by here. It breaks my heart - but I do recommend if you are able to afford this on your circumstances I would go here! The office is a little confusion to find, there is parking and for those who read this the door to the entrance is in the back - where the parking lot is. That was my only complicated part of the experience. The girl at the desk was so sweet and nice. I really wish I could have continued with this, can only hope this review will be a helping factor in you setting up an appointment!
