I didn't even order. It's really gross inside. The lady who serves the food spoke Spanish to the man who appears to be the owner and said rude stuff about me for asking for a napkin. Not knowing I am fluent in Spanish very disrespectful. The whole place is dirty and with that service i hope nobody experiences that service. Ok... Our first visit here and I think will not be returning. We ordered a lengua burrito with one carnitas soft taco... This goes down as the greasiest soft taco I've ever had with relatively skimpy meat. As for the burrito I thought the lingua was remarkably flavorless... Skimpy on the meat too. So why two stars and not one? I thought it looked really nicely arrayed and it looked very clean. Two old ladies running to shop and one guy behind the cash register. Fast, fresh, and super friendly. This has been our go to spot for take-out tacos and fresh meat and poultry during stay in place. Prices are super reasonable. They were taking precautions-wearing masks and gloves-before they had to. I love their chili verde, and hubby is hooked on the carne asada. We've only had the tacos but after seeing them make a burrito last week I'm going to try that next. Home-made chicarones, too. If you want the best Mexican food north of Tijuana, this should be your first and only stop. Inexpensive food with the highest quality taste you're going to find anywhere around...around here or anywhere else. Their al pastor has me hooked and recommending this place to everyone! The kids and I love eating here and everything we've had is fantastic. It's a grocery store with a "deli counter" in the back so, while they do have tables, the ambiance isn't about candle light and romance. I got chicken tacos and carne asada tacos. They were pretty good, a little on the fatty/greasy side for the asada though. My only compliant is that I wish the tacos had more filling. My chicken tacos were really lacking in the chicken department. My boyfriend got the enchiladas which he enjoyed. It is quite a hole in the wall place, with a tables. So, I got a pastor and carnitas burrito. Let me explain that I am very picky about having too much fat and slimey parts in my food. Well, the carnitas burrito had plenty of both. They have excellent preseasoned chicken legs which are great for a barbecue for the same price per pound as the grocery store. In the back there is a burrito bar, and the ceviche tostadas are amazing. Only reason I did not give it five stars is because it is in Lompoc which is a craphole on the Central Coast, itself a steaming pile of afterbirth. read more

What I always enjoy when going to Miguel's Carneceria is the aroma when you walk in. I've never been let down. This family runs a nice small business. The store is always clean. The butcher area is immaculate and when I've bought meat or chicken there they always take the time to don some rubber gloves for sanitation.
