Chandler/Mesa/Phoenix 2. Weee! 3. Safeway I believe this place used to be a booth at the Grande shops just across the street but they finally have their own physical location (cheers and well-deserved!!!). Although this place primarily caters to Filipino cuisine (yes, they have lumpia wrapper here!), you will find other main Asian cuisine ingredients here like mirin, gochujang, Indian/Chinese spices, Japanese snacks, etc. They offer a variety of frozen Filipino foods, as well as some fresh fruits & vegetables that are hard to find in American grocery stores around here (i.e. grapefruit, water spinach, calamansi, etc)~! They do also have a hot food section, so if you're craving some Filipino food, you can grab something here on your quick lunch break. Everything is a little on the pricier side but honestly, I don't mind the extra $2 to $5 because HEY, they're the first Asian grocery in the city and they already offer SO much.
