When I walked in, the place was pretty crowded with a great mix of locals and tourists. They have tons of options, from prepackaged pork to fresh cuts you can order directly from the butcher. Since I was on my motorcycle and had limited space, I couldn't stock up like I wanted to. I ended up just grabbing a small pack of the jalapeño bacon and some of their beef jerky. Came here with friends from my neighborhood & was very impressed with their selection of products, how stocked it is, & how friendly the employees are. The meats are fresh & well sliced. They offer snack items & all sorts of sauces as well. There is a drink fridge if you want something to go with your food items. They even sell hats & tshirts that say THE PORK SHOP on them! I picked up some barbecued pulled pork, some pork chops, some cheese, deli pickles, & their Green Chili Mac & Cheese, which this place is known for. We were in the area and stopped by The Pork Shop to check out what they had. The store was clean and the staff were all very helpful. We grabbed some polish style brats to try and also a pork steak. The butcher said to prepare the pork steak just like a ribeye! We also bought smoked pig ears for our dogs, which they loved!!! read more

Cool little spot in the middle of San Tan if you are looking for some pork to cook up. The folks are friendly and the place is LOADED with meats! They have some snacks and drinks and they have some BBQ burritos and one other burrito if you want lunch. We ordered a 9-pound stuffed pork from the pork shop. We've bought from them before, and they usually do great work, which is why this was such a disappointment. This time around, there was way more stuffing than pork honestly, it felt like the balance was completely off. When you order stuffed pork, you expect stuffing to complement the pork, not bury it. A lot of people at the table were asking the same thing where's the pork? Mistakes happen, I get that. But for something this size and this price, the ratio matters. You just can't get enough of this place! Seriously. They always have new varieties of sausages. Today I tried a Provolone sausage ring. Small diameter sausage. It should have been enough for two servings. Nope, couldn't stop myself. Hear they have a new Mac n Cheese with green chilies. GYSOT! Their ribs are spot on. BBQ beans are nom...nom...nom... Bacon. Saturday free samples for a first time visitor so I was pretty excited about that after finally getting out to the shop. The maple sausage YAAAAASSSS, apple cinnamon is like Christmas morning. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. The Pork Shop specializes in hickory-smoked, brown sugar-cured hams and bacon, along with a wide variety of smoked sausages, lunch meats, hot dogs, capicola, and snack sausages. They are known for their bratwurst, Italian and Polish sausages, as well as a wide selection of breakfast sausages. They also offer salsas, snacks, sauces, and more. I'm so happy to see all the customers they had in store on my most recent visit. I placed an order for pickup and they had it all wrapped up and packed exactly as I requested. They have many types of meat cuts, sausages, bacon, and so much more to offer to satisfy almost anyone's needs! They also had hot foods that were ready to go and made sure to carefully pack everything to ensure nothing spilled on my way home. This is THE IYKYK places. The absolute best place to get your pork products. So many meat stick flavors, sausages of all kinds, bolognas you have never imagined and you can taste them all before buying. Jerkys, bacons, even dog food and pig ears. They also sell beautiful cuts of pork and beef like I haven't seen in years. Fun condiments like pickles, mustards, horseradish, bbq sauces, and rubs. Incredible fresh salsas. Don't forget the hot green chili or barbecued pork burritos behind the cashier. I have yet to meet a person who has been here that hasn't loved it. We are new to this area and we were looking for a place that had smoked turkeys and hams for the holidays and we came across This place. This shop is like a butcher shop but for mainly pork. They do have some other non pork things but it's mainly all pig. They have a super wide selection of all cuts pork, even smoked and cured items! You hungry now? No worries they have hot food as well! From BBQ ribs to burritos and other items. We got the smoked turkey for thanksgiving. It was very reasonably priced for a hand crafted item that looked and tasted delicious. The bird came fully cooked and just needed to be reheated. There wasn't a dry piece of meat on this bird. Every single piece of meat including the breast was super juicy and tasted amazing! While there, I also got some of their green chile bacon mac and cheese which, with its big cuts of bacon and nicely browned cheddar cheese, is the Ben and Jerry's of mac and cheese! Nothing ever goes wrong at this place--just great pork every time. Regular store bacon tastes gross with all the chemicals, especially after shopping here. The flavor and size are amazing for the price, often better than what you'll find at the grocery store and with way better quality. The staff is super friendly and always quick with service.
