Meat Fries... with 2-3 week old ground beef sitting on top of a super sour (rank) sauce pretending to be cheese.

I ordered the Meat Fries for an appetizer and a single Ground Beef Enchilada. I can't even explain how gross the ground beef tasted. It was as if they cooked it up 2 weeks ago and left it sitting in the fridge all this time. They claimed the milky liquid under the fries was a cheese sauce. But it looked like milk with oil. So the fries were a soggy mess with rotten ground beef on top. I ate 1/4 the Enchilada, and maybe 8 fries before I got nauseated. I couldn't eat another bite, and my husband tried some, and immediately said it tasted really old. Like leftovers that had gone bad. In hindsight, I should have known better, since we were the ONLY customers during what SHOULD have been a busy lunch rush. And now it makes sense why 3 different servers asked me over and over again how it tasted. I didn't ask for a refund. I just wanted to get out of there. They took my full plate of food away, charged me full price, and I've been sick as a dog since I left. I hope they don't kill someone with the bad food preparation. I've included a photo of the fries just before they took the plate away. If you look at the sauce carefully, you'll see the oil puddles sitting on top (lower left side of the photo). That isn't cheese sauce. If it was, it didn't taste like any cheese I've ever eaten before. Update: It's been 2 hours since we left the restaurant. Stomach cramps are awful. Can't decide which end wants the toilet most. Don't put yourself through this!

Ground beef burrito, relleno, ground beef taco

I noticed this restaurant the last time I was driving through Ogden. I don't live too far away so my wife and I decided to stop in on a Friday night. The first thing I noticed is the place is nicely decorated. They have quite a few TVs in the corners of the restaurant and they play authentic music. My wife was facing the TV and enjoyed watching and listening to the videos of the musicians in Spanish even though she doesn't speak Spanish. Also this place has a huge menu. It is about six pages of about any variety of food you can think of. You can choose from tacos, tortillas, enchiladas, tamales, rellenos, ceviche, gorditas, fajitas, various seafood dishes, and huge drinks. I went with the ground beef taco, burrito, and relleno. I liked it. I also ordered the Al pastor taco Al a carte. The ground beef didn't taste like the typical Mexican ground beef with lots of spices. The ground beef tasted better the next day as leftovers. My wife got the combo of chicken nachos, relleno, and ground beef burrito. The refried beans and chicken were the best of our meal. Next time I'm getting the chicken it was so juicy and flavorful. We'll be back to try other dishes since there are so much to choose from. I liked the chips and salsa but my wife thought the salsa was too spicy (she can only handle mild). I'll definitely try the drinks next time based on what I saw at other tables.

Might be the worst food I've ever had. Ordered chicken taco and it was ground beef that was slop.

But let's be honest: you're really there for the tequila, and it is flowing! The drink menu is so diverse, creative, and plain fun that we had a blast just reading through all the options. The service was fast, friendly, and super knowledgeable, guiding us through the selection. Running into a great friend while we were there made an already awesome night even better. Whether you stop in for a quick drink and an appetizer or settle in for the evening, you will not be disappointed. I'd easily recommend going back multiple times!

For a second I wondered if they were closed, but someone eventually came out and seated me. That initial vibe had me a bit concerned, but I stuck it out. I started with the chips, corn, and guacamole, which was decent, nothing mind-blowing but fresh enough and got the job done. The Cadillac Margarita ($20) was a disappointment though. It was basically a glass of ice with way too much lime juice dominating everything; I could barely taste the tequila. The Michelada was better, solid and refreshing, and the service was about the same: friendly and attentive enough once they got going, but nothing standout. But holy smokes, that asada stuffed burrito saved the whole meal. The asada was ridiculously tender, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor. Juicy, smoky, melt-in-your-mouth beef wrapped in a solid burrito. That one item alone made me glad I came. Overall, the place has some hits and misses. If the asada is what you're after, it's worth it. Just maybe skip the Cadillac marg and don't expect a lively atmosphere on a slow night. I'd go back for the burrito.

Decided to give them a call to see if there were any tables, just in case. To my surprise there was! I got so excited. I arrived at my reservation time of 615 and was promptly seated... in a near empty restaurant. Why the need for reservations? Anyway... after placing our quickly order (since we had studied the menu at home)... finally AN HOUR LATER our food arrived. The server apologized and said we got stuck behind a large party. Now, I'm no scientist, but wouldn't you assume if the restaurant required reservations and their system was showing a fully booked house, including a large party, wouldn't you bring on maybe just one more chef? Anyway... the food was great. Service, not so much!

They were awesome. Luke and Brooke were amazing and not flustered by the rush as the drink orders kept coming. We watched them give the same amount of attention to every drink and garnish; each one looked perfect when it left the bar. My wife had a Rosa 75, on the menu, it had a Mexican gin in it that was phenomenal. No big juniper taste, bright tasting and beautiful. She also had a custom creation of Luke's called a "Sassy Marg" that used Ancho Reyes Verde liqueur. It gave the drink just the right amount of spice. I had a classic margarita and then a. Pina Colada that was dangerously tasty. If you ever go here0 make sure to visit Luke and Brooke at the bar. Well worth it!

After a quick morning flight to Ogden, UT to visit our besties, we found ourselves hungry and…read morecraving some Mexican. A quick Yelp search lead us to No Manches Way. THE LOCATION: This is where things got a little tricky. Street parking for No Manches Way is basically nonexistent. There is a small lot in the back through a narrow alley alongside the building. THE ATMOSPHERE: Eh... Awkward is a good way to sum it up. There's a tv with a DJ, in what looks like his parents basement, blasting club music. It was much louder than it needed to be for any restraint. Especially during the day. Aside from that, there were some neat murals on the walls and a variety of seating. THE EATS: Having caught wind of the birria craze back in Colorado, I was excited to see that they offered this here! Yay! So I eagerly ordered up a quesa birria (which is essentially a cheese quesadilla with a dipping au jus). My husband chose to nosh on a massive asada burrito, and our friend chose the street tacos. The meals definitely satisfied the craving and filled our tummies. THE DRINKS: Since they're across the street from a church and located in Utah, you will not find beer or liquor here. They do feature Mexican Coca Cola, Parrot juice drinks, among other things. I opted for a Pink Guava juice drink. It definitely paired perfectly with my meal. THE SERVICE: There's no table service here. You place your order at a counter in the back of the restaurant and receive a tray with your food when it's ready. Being the first time I've had birria, I was a little disappointed that how to season the broth was not explained more to me. It came with a plethora of cilantro and onion that I was unsure of how to use. Oh well. No Manches Way was A-OK in my book. I wouldn't be opposed to stopping by again next time we're in town and checking out more of the menu.
