Camarones Fiesta

Lent dinner done right! This camarones fiesta were the absolute highlight--perfectly served over a bed of rice. The side of mashed potatoes was incredibly smooth and creamy. Highly recommend if you're looking for a solid meatless Friday option that actually fills you up! #Lent2026 #SeafoodLover #FridayDinner

I was craving carnitas and this place hit the spot!! Food was ready quickly, I did a to go order. Service was friendly. Food was delicious.

Mole Poblano

Came here for a Sunday lunch and was pretty happy with the spot. The place was pretty busy but we easily got a seat with a great waiter that was very busy with all his tables. He handled it well but was likely at/beyond the number to handle well. The chips were very thick and tasty, but the two salsas were way up the hot meter. I am an absolute sucker for mole, so I went with the Mole Poblano. It was pretty good chunks of chicken in a dark mole. Rice and beans were a check but the tortilla was awesome. Definitely would come again.

There weekly Tuesday special

So a friend begged me to go cuz the tacos are cheap on Tuesdays and she had little to no cash but wanted tacos. I didn't like the food the only other time I came here 6 years ago and never been back. But places change so ok I agreed. And it's just tacos, right? How do you mess that up?? Well... YAH CAN. She said she went the week before and doesn't even remember what she got but it was so good and juicy and big chunks of meat in it. I finally decided on 3, the Pork Adobado, Carnitas and Asado. Had to try the Carnitas right?? It's the name of the place. And I've never had Carnitas. On line I had looked up carnitas tacos, they have cilantro, onion, maybe a little tomato. And this tender fried pulled pork. Well not in this taco. First, they are street size tacos, not "Tacos" for $1.25 second all I got was strings of dried out fried meat. That's it. No toppings, not even any sauces. Not appetizing at all. , the asado was similar, no toppings, dry. The Adobado. Was pork chunks in a red sauce like Colorado almost. It had the most flavor and would have been good except it seemed to come straight from the fridge to my street taco tortilla to my table. It was ice cold. My friend who brought me tells me the Adobado is the one she remembered from last week but it was hot and meat was juicy and tender. This was cold and tough. And she wanted crispy shells not flour but they don't do that, probably because they don't make corn street tacos. And our wait person was not happy to be at work this day. After seating us. She wanted our order, but we had not even looked at the menu or the offerings for Tuesday yet, so she left in a huff and saying "ok fine I'll come back!" Which took about 20 minutes. She never asked about drinks. So there we sat. With no drinks and a pissed waitperson. When she did come back we had questions about what Some of the taco fillings were that we weren't familiar with. My friend was trying to describe what she had the week before, the tender chunks of meat, etc, she said she didn't know of any had chunks, she'd have to go ask. Then came back and said it had to be the Adobado. Then when we ordered waters she seemed mad about that too. I'm not sure if it was us or just that it was Tuesday And everyone was just ordering cheap tacos and water. But the food was not good, I'm glad I only paid about 4 bucks for it. The customer service was severely lacking and we only tipped 10%. And no matter how much someone begs, I'm not going back there ... and btw, no matter how much they dress up this pig restaurant, it still looks like Pelicans outside.

Great flavors and ambiance. We ordered the carnitas plate and it did not disappoint. They give you free chips as well.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh boi! Ladies and gentlemen I know Carnitas should probably not be this expensive, but damn are these some BOMB carnitas! We had been getting food from this location as delivery for the majority of the COVID situation here in El Paso, and it wasn't until this wonderful visit that we decided to actually go in and have ourselves a little feast. We went in through the exit because we can't read that well at night but were graciously greeted regardless and were taken to our seats promptly. We looked a tad over the menu and decided to start with the Chile con queso. This was an awesome appetizer to start with as it was Oaxaca cheese with california chile melted to a hot perfection and some delicious home made corn tortillas to accompany them. We all quickly devoured both their chips and their delicious salsas as we decided what our main plates would be. We got tacos (2 carnitas and 1 buche) a carnitas plate and some Carnitas sopes. The sopes were a perfect combination for the Carnitas since every bite allowed you to have a piece of everything on them (the carnitas were ever so melt in your mouth). The tacos were huge tacos which is why I felt ok paying for just 3 of them. The carnitas plate looked like a while pound of carnitas and we were unable to finish it. The food was so awesome that we ended up getting delivery again the next day for some Fajita sopes and a large Tortilla Soup that was just immaculate. Their drinks are good and their Niña Fresa drink is by far one of my favorites to get at any restaurant. Tips and tricks for this place? Carnitas, carnitas, carnitas. Whether on a Sope or a lonche or just by themselves you gotta get yourself some. Oh and the tortilla soup just add more spice to it and its GOLDEN!

Well today they only take cash. I do not carry a lot of cash, so we had to make sure we have enough for our breakfast. Not my type of thing, having freedom to order whatever you want is important. Also, all the surfaces you touch are sticky, the restroom door is sticky, the chairs are sticky, the table was sticky and I had them clean it. They have carpet in some areas, and it is very, very dirty. Management needs to step up and improve the cleanliness of the joint. Food is good, enough to make you want to stay.

La comida y el servicio son excepcionales!!!! Wow. This is by far the best restaurant I have ever gone to. Hands-down!! The food is incredible! The service is unparalleled! The pictures say it all. Come and visit. You won't be disappointed!!!

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants and as usual, e food does not disappoint had dinner with the family and had I ordered their pozole soup and was awesome. My daughter ordered the tortilla soup (a bit spicy!), and my wife ordered the milanesa sandwich. As always.....their corn tortillas are made from scratch!

I kept it classic with waffles, bacon, and eggs--and it absolutely hit the mark. The waffles were light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, the bacon was cooked just right, and everything came out fresh and satisfying. Simple comfort food done right. But what really elevated the experience was the atmosphere. They had live musical entertainment by Louie, who was incredible. He played a mix of hits from yesterday and today, moving effortlessly between country & western, contemporary favorites, and traditional Spanish songs. His versatility created a warm, lively environment that both staff and customers clearly enjoyed--it added something special you don't find everywhere. Service was just as impressive. Our server, XAY, had a bright, welcoming smile and provided outstanding service from start to finish. They offered great suggestions on local favorites and specials, which made the experience feel personal rather than routine. The vibe overall is relaxed, inviting, and very "El Paso"--a place where you can sit, enjoy your meal, and stay a while. Overall: Delicious, well-executed brunch classics Live music that enhances the experience (not overwhelms it) Exceptional, friendly service Comfortable, welcoming atmosphere Would I go back? Without a doubt. This is more than just brunch--it's an experience.

The food was absolutely amazing -- everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. You could tell a lot of care went into both the menu and presentation. What really stood out, though, was how attentive and genuinely kind our server was throughout the evening. Even with how busy El Paso was that weekend, we never felt rushed or overlooked. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and it ended up being one of our favorite dining experiences of the trip. If I return to El Paso in the future, Neighbor Good Kitchen & Bar will definitely be on my list of places to visit again.

Absolutely loved the bar and hanging pots everywhere. Such a clean restaurant and cute vibe. Our waitress was very nice and friendly to us. So no issues there! For drinks I got their berry lemonade which tasted just like lemon juice. I had to request for sugar to be added since it was so sour so beware. My food had came out and to be honest I'm just a little bit disappointed. The rigatoni was cooked but the sauce for it was really not tasty? Like there was almost not a flavor I can taste. Of course there was something but it was very plain and barely even there. It also was not spicy whatsoever. I added grilled chicken too and oh boy was that dry dry DRY. The burrata personally I'm not a fan in general so of course I wouldn't be a fan this time either but they gave a nice little plate full of it. They added some oiled toasted bread and it was way too crispy in my opinion. My partner got the chicken Parmesan and his dish tasted great! Very juicy chicken and cooked all the way. The sauce was perfect too nice and flavorful and great pairing with the chicken. His butter noodles were just like regular butter noodles so not bad. Finally the crème brûlée. Probably the most disappointing dish we ordered. It took repeated stabs to break the sugar glaze on top. Me and my partner were honestly thinking that they added the cream on top to hide how burnt it was actually. Unfortunately because the glaze was so thick and burnt it made the rest of the cream taste have the burnt flavor. It was sad because my partner was looking forward to this desert. Also took wayyy longer to arrive than our entrées. I will say that the waitress was very helpful and she actually covered the crème Brulé. I didn't even ask she just offered, I think she could tell that we didn't enjoy it and I had nicely told her it wasn't what we were expecting so thank you sincerely. Overall I think this is a perfect spot to maybe try drinks and hang with friends. Food was okay, wouldn't try it again in that regard but overall a decent spot here in El Paso if you're looking for something new. Maybe best to ask what's their best dish to serve. Overall thank you.

I really think they need to tone down the use of bathroom odorizers (you know, those things you stick on the wall, and they cover the bathroom smell) because that was the smell. Also they are in dire need of cleaning the a/c vents, as they were grossly covered in dust and dirt. The service was OK. I saw some pictures of a new brunch place in the Far East off Zaragoza, and it looked good. It's hidden in the back next to Sky Zone and across the street from Oasis Lanes, so finding it was a little hard. When I walked in I didn't realize it was so small because I had convinced some of the girls to come to try it out with me from the Peachlab workouts. They wanted to come out to celebrate Nurse B's birthday as well as mine because that's the type of supportive community they are, but most are vegan, so I try to find places that have vegan food alongside others so that we can dine together as a group. When I saw that Boca Brava had vegan tacos on the menu, I was really excited. What I didn't know was that on Sundays they only have a Sunday Brunch menu and it doesn't have the regular items. The vegan tacos $3 each consisted of mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions (grilled and pickled), my friends enjoyed it with a variety of salsas. Luckily for us, our waitress was amazing and she got the staff to make us some vegan tacos. They were beyond accommodating and I appreciate that. Because they obviously were in a rush to make items that weren't on the menu that day, the tacos didn't come out perfectly and they're willing to redo it and also not charge us for it. My breakfast plate of 2 eggs, hashbrowns, one bacon slice, and 3 corn pancakes (with slightly spicy maple syrup) was $15. Mimosas were $3. My hashbrowns were really greasy, but the over-easy eggs and crispy bacon were cooked perfectly. The best part was the corn pancakes, I don't think I've had a lighter pancake but with substance. It wasn't doughy which is usually why I avoid pancakes, but crispy and light, probably because of the cornmeal. It was delicious. My other friend ordered chilaquiles and said that it was delicious and not mushy. We also ended up getting 2 free chocolate cakes because they overheard us saying that it was our birthday. Our waitress even took our picture, but I got cropped out, lol, my bad I didn't check the pictures until I got home. For a new place willing to admit they can be better and put the customers first, I really think they'll do well. It's refreshing and it'll bring back repeat customers. If I lived in the far East this would be one of my regular places. Boca brava (915) 219-8700 1691 N Zaragoza Rd STE 5, El Paso, TX 79936 https://maps.app.goo.gl/exW9sS3pcPrAvNzZ6
