If you ever come here, make sure you check your food before leaving because apparently they don't know how to do their jobs correctly. If you have a food allergy or need to omit specific ingredients, DO NOT COME HERE. I rarely leave bad reviews and always try to give businesses the opportunity to redeem themselves, however this was absolutely earned. Ordered a plain fajita burrito with beans, avocado, and cheese. Is that what they gave me? No. I live out here in Horizon. Get home open the foil, low and behold, it's not the right order. Can't call because they're closed. Wait till today and let them know that they made a mistake. They want the burrito back. Whatever I still have it, right, however, some of us also have to work too (except I actually can do my job right, and can't just up and leave my job because YOU can't do your job correctly the first time) Was told by the employees and manager, you're pretty much SOL if you can't return it now. So I have to LEAVE work, drive all the way home to Horizon, THEN drive all the way back... because YOU don't know how to do your job? I even asked if I can take it in the morning and was denied. Since you don't want to correct YOUR OWN mistake, I will be leaving bad reviews everywhere and just wait for social media. The total for two burritos came out to $30. So I literally spent $15 for an incorrect, basic burrito, and EXTREMELY bad customer service. If they're this lax and lazy in doing their job right or even bothering to correct that mistake, who knows what's wrong with the restaurant and the kitchen. I was very disappointed with my experience here. I paid $11.46 for a burrito (which is almost double what most places in the area charge), and it didn't include the ingredients listed on the menu. When I called to clarify, the woman I spoke with insisted I had ordered something completely different when I had actually ordered fajitas a la Mexicana. She then told me that pico de gallo was included as part of the "a la Mexicana" yet I had been charged extra for it. Instead of owning up to the mistake, she told me I could come back for a discount, a soda, or "something," which honestly felt dismissive. This is about the principle. I'm convinced that people who hate this place are the type of people that go to steakhouses and order fish or BBQ joints and order salad then complain about the taste . My point is when you come here get what they are known for Burritos and Tortas and save the exploring for another time . You will be pleasantly surprised and less inclined to hate what you ordered . Honestly very middle of the road when it comes to the food. The service was good. The food was made quickly. I had the Hearty Breakfast Skillet. The chile was hot. I wanted to like this. Honestly all I could think is the skillets at Village inn are better... also tried a chile colorado burrito, it was good and very large. The prices here are reasonable, and is a good place to eat if you are really hungry. Over all I have nothing bad to say, but nothing really stood out. I have never been here but my boyfriend has been talking about this place forever. So this morning I ordered delivery. He got the Chile Colorado burrito and I got the papas a la mexicana. I heard they were big but NOTHING, prepared me for these monstrosities! I started coming here because if the large size burritos. As I became more familiar with frequent visits, it's clear that they could be better if not for the high turnover in employees. Today there was a sign on the door for an experienced cook. My wife and I came in today for breakfast and ordered a single large breakfast plate of eggs and tamales and an empty plate to share. The order came split in half with a cold tortilla, no beans and all the server could say was "maybe since you split the plate, they decided not to give you beans". Easter morning was a wonderfully fun surprise to experience. I liked the Tex-Mex menu with the 1950s twist decor seating and the walls with fun movie posters (not exactly related or any particular genre; just a bit eclectic). It was a good way to spend the morning having breakfast with my best bud while visiting mellowed El Paso. I did find it odd that my Menudo was served with buttered bread instead of tortillas and a bit discourteous that the waitress only kept speaking in Spanish when clearly my bestie did not speak Spanish at all.
