I do not even think they are aware of their patients' concerns. They are very understaffed, need a person at front desk that is non biased but understands that all you have to do is press a button when you enter. Noticed a man with maroon shirt, just like evening staff, come in at around 5am one morning and came straight to sit in lobby. He did not have an ID. Shady place. Just be warned.

I spoke to head nurse by name of Annie , horrible disposition was very defensive and not helpful . I think you'll might want to start with her . Replace Annie with a nurse who values her patients and truly loves what she's doing . Maybe then the other nurses will follow the lead to do a better job . My mom was there less than a year and under their lack of care had two major falls . First fall broke her wrist and was bruised slowed down her healing process . Less than two month another fall fractured hip , her health declined rapidly . In less than a week after being returned to nursing home she's dead . My mom was walking on her own feeding and bathing herself and minimal help from nurses before fall . And now she's dead . Please if you have a loved one who requires nursing home don't bring them here it's a death sentence . Don't walk , run as fast as you can from this death hell h

The rent always went up…read more The facility's age is a glaring problem, and corporate reluctance to repair and modernize (like they really need to do) make this place very outdated. I think the building is 40+ years old. It shows. George and his maintenance crew are easy to work with, professional and polite, but they are overloaded with work requests. Doug the site manager is hit and miss. He didn't have the room ready on day 1 of our move in so we had to stick mom in a temporary room for at least a week. I worked 3 days to get moms stuff moved for an On time move in date, only to be told it wasn't ready. They did give us the 1st month free but I still was disgruntled. There are multiple floors with plumbing problems. Literally, a plumber was called in who used an auger on the bathtub and pulled out - get this, no lie - roots and dirt. Sadly, Frank the plumber who's a contractor that is often used there said "it's all along the ground floor, AND they have problems on the 3rd and 4th floors too." There's only 5 floors to the place. Because it's located near the medical center, it's a mixed blessing. Old folks are close to hospitals and other medical facilities, but guess what? You hear ambulance sirens constantly, and at night. Stray cats are everywhere. Crazy cat lady must live here. No complaints about the courtyard or pool. There's an extra charge go salon service but it's offered. The food is meh. I also have a complaint about their exit notice policy. We gave notice of our exit 30 days in advance. They said we would owe 1 day of pay into the next month. Really? The problem is we waited on info from them that went into the next day, so that's on them, not us. They cited accounting protocols instead of doing the right thing and getting an exception to waive the 1 day charge. The cleaning ladies and medical staff on site are courteous. No Complaints here. If your looking at a place for your parents, I recommend looking elsewhere if you can afford it for all the truthful reasons listed above.

First let me say i was just terminated recently because I called in when the weather was bad and the roads were icy. Now that we got that out the way , let me continue . Meghan and Sarah who are currently over the facility have ran this place into the ground due to their lack of experience and their lack of compassion and careness for not only the residents but staff as well. There is no staff , meaning your family member won't get the care they need , lack of supplies meaning not only are you paying for there place of living but also their supplies Aventine does not provide enough supplies for the residents they have cut down budget for that and cut down staff budget as well. They r not very many residents most of them passed away due to covid outbreak in the Memory care unit . Once again this goes back to Aventine as a company but also Meghan and Sarah don't know that they are doing . There a lot I can say but ... I'm moving on. They have a huge gathering area with a large-screen TV and each resident has their own room with a separate TV and bathroom. The staff were quite nice and extremely attentive to my mother-in-law. I'd definitely recommend Beehive for your aging loved one.
