While my husband was deployed for a year, they did not mention to me that the liner was tearing when they would do the weekly maintenance cleanup. Then, my husband returns from his deployment and the liner started leaking.... Thankfully he was here to get through this together... but unfortunately now that it was fixed(months later from another company)... we are back with this company and they are back to providing low quality service. We don't like to complain, but enough is enough. We do not recommend this company to anyone. We've asked for an estimated completion time of when the water can be swimmable and we are on day 4 without an ETA. We are looking for another maintenance company.

Absolutely NOTHING was done until end of January/February when he dug the hole out. There was a delay on our end to to neighbors fencing on our property and such....then nothing again. After many phone calls, excuses(his foreman's brother died, it was over a holiday and he was giving his guys vacation, the bank has locked his account) they show up and start making a bit of progress with leveling the inside and getting walls up. Then nothing again... I noticed he has his men down at my neighbor's house doing concrete work for them THEN they came to our house for like an hour in the evening....we have walls up, cement in the bottom deep and the slope and that's it. He hasn't been back to the house for weeks and we have been waiting almost a YEAR for this pool. His promises are empty. I've talked to Mr. Dunbar and while I understand weather is something you can't control, you can absolutely take control of being behind schedule and work on weekends. There have been PLENTY of days he or people from his crew could have been out getting things done, but instead of focusing on a contract job we paid upfront for, he chose to go do concrete work for someone else. He has taken on other new pool contracts(as seen from these reviews) and hasn't made much progress on our pool at all. He was supposed to return today to backfill and do plumbing but was a NO SHOW and messages went unresponded to. I highly suggest you do NOT hire this company to do any work. At this point, we do t even know if he has the actual pool equipment to complete the job, if he even has money to give a refund, if we went to court(can't do small claims because of how much we paid up front) to get an injunction.... It's disheartening. He has given us so many times he would have this pool done by...and here it is, almost the end of July, and we have what you see in the photos done. This has been a long fought battle which I do not wish upon anyone just trying to enhance their property for their Family's enjoyment. I would never do business again with this establishment or recommend them to anyone. PREVIOUSLY: Result of the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors Investigation of Parnell Pool & Spa. Their actions were found to CONSTITUE GROSS NEGLIGENCE, INCOMPETENCY AND/OR MISCONDUCT in the practice of general contracting and a willful violation of Article 1, Chapter 87 of the General Statues, in violation of G.S. § 87-11 (a). Related to Construction on Powerline Easement as well as failure to adhere to the 811 Law. I went that same day and picked up the part that I needed that was right at 250.00. I requested a technician to come out to put it on the pump for us. They set it up for 9:00 AM the next day. The tech showed up on time, looked at the pump and told me I didn't need the entire pump head, but just the top dial that was only116.00. He had one on the truck, and put it on in no time.
