I requested custom rolling shelves to be installed in my master bathroom and a spot on the wall to be painted over where it chipped. I was informed that it would be doable to be completed by 23 November 2024. It was understood that I paid half the estimate upfront to deposit and then pay the remainder when the work is complete. So I paid half upfront to deposit; amount was $1,860.00. On the planned completion date, I received a text message that there is a family emergency and they requested if the completion date can be pushed back to 24 November 2024. I said to that the new date is fine. And then the family emergency is extended, and extended, and extended thru Friday, 6 December 2024 and then thru Saturday, 7 December 2024. We agreed that the work will be completed firmly by no later than Sunday, 8 December 2024. By this point I have been more than reasonable and accommodating to the life situation that they are going Through. On 10 December 2024, and I verified that there has been no work done at all on the shelves or the painting job. I called, texted, and emailed the team with no response. I had discovered the nature of the emergency; so of course it's a traumatic experience. Also, at the same time, I am working in a tight budget. I cannot just throw away $1,860.00. By the end of December, the shelves and paint job were take care of by another person. On 15 January 2025, they informed me that they are taking care of the refund; first tried Zelle, then Venmo and did not work, so we agreed on a cashier's check sent to me. The cashier's check was mailed to me on 28 January 2025. And since January 28th 2025, no further updates; complete silence. I send one final message expressing my frustration and anger with the refund process on 17 February 2025; and then two days later on 19 February 2025, they finally reach back out to me ONLY after I initiated the follow up message. They tell me the refund check was mailed back to the office; this information I did not know, so at this point, I am dissatisfied more that they did not reach out back to me to close out the refund process. On 19 February 2025, they confirm with tracking number from UPS that the refund check is mailed to me to my correct mailing address. I received the package from UPS. However, upon opening the check is not in the mailer; there is only a neon green envelope with '1900.00 Refund' written on the outside. I noticed the green envelope was ripped in one corner and the mailer was also ripped in one corner. At this point, I still haven't received the refund. So, we agreed to send the check via USPS instead. We confirmed with tracking number that the check was mailed via USPS on 5 March 2025. On 14 March 2025, I received the mailer. Inside the mailer package, the check was not there. Instead, there was a Customs and Declaration Form and their business card. No refund check. At this point, we have utilized two forms of mailing technique without success. So, understandably, I asked them to provide the refund electronically either via Zelle or Venmo. I have no word of whether or when my deposit will be refunded, since that is the honest and professional thing to do. At the end of the day, it is poor customer service. When the salesmen came out, I was very clear I wanted French doors. He advised me to get a sliding patio door and upgrade to French doors later which was just insane to me. He told me to consider it and wrote my estimate for sliding doors and said it would be another $1000 for French doors instead. When they came out to take measurements, I reinforced that I wanted French doors not sliding doors. Then when they were being ordered (5 months after I initially met with the salesman) I was told French doors were going to be a $2k+ upgrade and that they had no idea where the salesman got the $1k from. Paul was absolutely wonderful and worked really hard with me to reach a solution and have nothing but kind things to say about him. Now we're in January (this whole process started in June) and when I spoke to Brittany on the phone last week Tuesday to set up install date I asked her what my remaining balance was, she told me $4600 (rounded). But then this morning when I go to pay the remaining balance I'm told they forgot to add in an additional $1600. I've managed 2 offices in my career, a car lot and a flooring company. Never in my life would I ever tell someone one total and then send someone to collect payment and give them a higher total, extremely unethical. I have budgeted and saved and picked up overtime hours for the total I was given and now it's once again "I don't know where they got that number from." Whoever is running their office needs to be replaced.

This guy was extremely unprofessional, filthy hands and ripped-up jeans, coming on to me and touching me inappropriately on my body. (I had to say I had a husband just to get him to back off.) Additionally, he reeked of cigarettes. But the worst and most suspicious of all was that he refused to provide a written breakdown (estimate) of all the work that he had assessed. No written estimate. He said, "Once we have your confidence, and you sign an agreement to hire us, you will get all of that." WHAT?! I posted a negative review on Google, and the owner's fiancé contacted me, wanting to meet with me because she knew I had a recording of my encounter with her employee. She came and wasted my time though. She said that she, herself, was a licensed contractor. She had me take her all around the house, showing her all of the damage, and then she made me wait at least a half an hour until her actual contractor who did the work for her company showed up. Why did I take her around and show her all of the damage, when she is not capable of providing a breakdown of costs herself? What a joke. To top it off, she told me that her company would provide that estimate for me to determine whether or not I wanted them to do the work. I never got it. Stay away from this company.
