I was craving Sinaloa Style food and I found Carolina tamales in bellflower. I decided to get two tostadas de pollo , agua de Jamaica and a keki. Everything was so delicious and the waitress gave me an excellent customer service. muy agradable. I will definitely come back and try something else!!!

I was going to see a place of residence and spotted a sign saying Tamales. Hard to find a place that gives you the true authentic tamales. We parked in back and the place has a small parking and also has patio seating. Walked in the front and small place you can sit to eat a few tables. This place is true mom and pop family run and authentic smells of great food. The menu is great with so many options of course including the tamales. We decided to get a tamale plate with beans and rice. They give you two options of beans and rice or pasta My wife chose chicken and pork Sinaloa tamale and 1 pork I had 2 pork tamales we both had Beans and rice. they give you a choice of two styles of beans the ones I got I forgot the name but they were delicious and my wife got the other style which were also good. The rice brought back memories of my mom. The rice was the way my mom would make. I had Horchata and my wife water and Sunny D. The Tamales were as I could say from years of eating Mexican food at home as well as other places when I was younger: authentic as it could get. I was so filled with joy my palate was excited. I know wow this man's noodle is twisted well to be honest I haven't tasted tamales this great since I was younger. like homemade by also like a mom and pop in Pico Rivera before they change their recipe. The place is named after the family mom. Grace her daughter was the wait staff. She is so friendly and knowledgeable and the rest of the staff that I saw working as efficient as well oiled machine. the kitchen was not that big but the ladies worked in harmony. I loved seeing a well functioning mom and pop establishment. This establishment has a A grade Cleanliness: 8 Staff : 9 Food : 10 Location: 7 Menu: 8 Customer service: 9 Dining : 7 Parking : 6 I will return to try some of the other dishes. This is located on Alondra look for the sign that says Tamales.

I recommend the sweet corn tamale, the pork tamale is very good too like they make it in Sinaloa but the chicken tamale was a dry taste equally chicken and masa were dry. Maybe if they would make it like the pork tamale would taste better. I also bought empanaditas de cajeta and they are fresh and tasty. The staff was very kind offering variety of products and the place is clean too. Next time I want to try pan de mujer and maybe stay for some enchiladas.

Sorry Carolina Tamales, tasted good/OK, but I prefer tamales that are moist, juicy and full of the red sauce.

We ordered a dozen tamales but they're so stingy with the salsa. The staff said they could only give 3 or 4 the most.

The owners are super humble and deeply supportive of the community, which makes me want to back them even more. My go‑tos are the *taco uyi yu yui* and the *tostada pirata (no fish)* always hits. If it weren't for the very loud music playing, I would not have known this was a Mexican restaurant. We ordered Fish and Shrimp Ceviche tostadas, but it was ok not the best I ever had. Tostadas had more Cucumbers and Tomatoes than Fish or Shrimp, and to make it worse, it was soaked in some kind of unidentifiable watery juice which made the hard Tostada soggy. What prompts M E Perihuete to soak a hard Tostada shell with water? unbelievable! The Chilaquiles were bad. They were so spicy I could not taste my food. Overall, the service was bad the lady who served us was busy laughing and giggling with the male customers instead of attending to her tables. I have to say the obvious about the waitresses here, to be as nice as I can put it, their lips stand out as plungers, the chest, and behind well, so obvious they were not normal... The service was bad and the food was not the best. Pricey. Plenty of parking.

Place was nearly empty, we still went completely unattended for long stretches of time, orders were all wrong, and the waitress instead of fixing it was argumentative & completely wrong. For example, when I noticed my order was wrong, I told her and she immediately contradicted me to the point that I had to move the meat aside to prove to her that there were no beans on my order when there should've been. Instead of then fixing and apologizing she blamed the chef. When my spouse pointed out what was wrong about her order, she asked us what she wanted her to do with it? Maybe take it back and fix it? It was almost like she was blaming us and expecting us to just take what they brought us even if it was wrong. NOBODY IS TRYING TO PAY FOR THE PLEASURE TO FIGHT WITH THEIR INCORRECT WAITRESS. If you are going to be arguing with your paying clients, the least you could do is be right. They still tried to bill me for incorrect food returned and uneaten. Owner started brining up her video, but failed to address the countless problems and issues that were all over that "video". Eventually the food that was wrong and that was returned uneaten was refunded but it pales in comparison what the afternoon cost me. Please consider going elsewhere and their health code is a C which I did not know.
