Brought my daughter for her birthday nails, they got us right away. I'm definitely going to make this my permanent nail spot.

Went to get my daughter's birthday nails and they took us in right away. Everyone was very friendly and felt welcomed. I will definitely make this my permanent go to place for nails, toes, and wax.

Been going here for 5 years and prices have stayed reasonable. Always consistent and my go to spot, have recommended to many people and they love their results.

They crafted my nails exactly like the photo reference I gave them. My artist paid close attention to detail, giving the flowers on my nails the cutest little petals. I almost missed them up while reaching into my bag to pay, but she made sure I left the salon with a perfect set and fixed them for me right away. These are the best nails I've ever gotten done, and the cheapest too. My boyfriend wanted something simple and minimal, but didn't know the terminology very well. His artist gave him really good recommendations of styles and gave him a cute minimalist dotted design in matte black. I would definitely recommend going here! They're seriously take pride in their nails.

I came here with my friend for the first time and was amazed how friendly the staff are. Carol and Amy did our gel manicures and we were so happy with the results. We will be coming again and again!

I just moved to Alhambra and found this place. I was totally impressed with the professionalism, cleanliness, kindness, and service. I found my new go to place, please come and check out this nail salon, it's to die for 10x's!

Mary did such an amazing job! I highly recommend her! Love the color and look! She was fast and professional!

$15.00 for pedicure, $20.00 for both Mani/Pedi. Was looking for an affordable and quick pedicure fix. I drove past this unassuming salon a couple of times already and finally decided to try it. Pros: - Accepts walk-ins and you get seated after about 5-10 mins - Seems to be be a friendly neighborhood favorite. Two women came in one after the other and all the technicians greeted her by name. Another woman came in and said something like "I saw Anita at church and saw her nails. I knew she'd been here." So seems like they have loyal customers who are happy with their service. - Attention to detail: I got Lee and she paid great attention to detail. She removed some hard skin (what are they called? Corns?) on the underside of my toe (TMI?) and now it doesn't feel uncomfortable when I walk. She massaged my feet and legs pretty nicely. She even gave me nail care advice. Cons: - Ambiance is not a priority here. Nor is the most up to date technology in the beauty industry. No massage chairs, just a bucket with plastic wrap. They dried my pedicure with a small fan that you can get at the dollar tree. - very limited colors. Bring your own. Overall: Service and quality are good, and it's probably the most affordable in the area. I mean $20.00 for a mani pedi combo? I called other areas and pedicure alone starts at $17.00 w/o tip. If you're not in it for the ambiance, but do desire good work, check this place out. Will I be coming back? Yes!

What i ended up with. One of the many nails cut from Mary's anger. Uneven, fat, cuticle filled nail.

My nail session could have not gone more HORRIBLE! I got Mary, and if you do come here. DONT GO TO MARY. From the start she would pull my arm and throw my hand around. Like, the worst I've ever been grabbed by a manicurist. I asked her if they had any designs like flower, butterflies, hearts. And she completely ignored me. I kept asking and she then said "no". K whatever, It's a nail salon, how do you not have add on designs??? But alright. I chose my color " 494 Magical Mauve" she starts putting it on and i realize it's totally off, i told her it wasn't the same as the sample. she immediately got mad at me and went "ugh, it's the same. that's just old that's why it look like that." I told her "no, it's not the same. The color you're putting is hot pink, what i wanted is totally different" she then rolled her eyes and told me to pick a different color. I chose 529 " Blue River" as she was painting my nails she had an attitude. AGAIN, that's not the same color as the sample. She once more said "it's just old, it's the same" i told her it's not the same. And she just ignored me and continued. I had also asked she do my cuticles from the beginning, this women, BULLSH*TTED the F out of my cuticles. she was picking at nothing after she told me before i had a lot of dead skin. she pulled NOTHING off. I told her "why isn't anything coming off" and she said "it's okay" so i got charged an extra $5 for her to do literally nothing. (Check my pic, you can clearly see dead skin) THEN, at the end when she was putting the top coat i told her "don't put that, in going to remove the color tomorrow. This is not what i wanted" and she gets mad and tells me "it's the same color, it's same" the owner (i guess) comes over and says "let me see" to which he then says "OH YEAH, ITS NOT THE SAME this is 532 green isle" even though the bottle clearly said "529". I'm then going to pay and i say, can i have a discount because both colors i choose we're not the same and she didn't listen when i told her. MARY: then starts arguing with me from across the salon that i said i liked it. The owner quickly believe her and i start telling them no, i chose 2 different colors to which she told me "it's just old" the owns got offended from me and said "it's not old!" and i told them, that's what she told me. They then said "she's new, she doesn't know" *Like ok? So how is that my fault?* I show the owners and they both acknowledge, no the colors are in fact NOT AT ALL THE SAME. They then convince Mary she needs to take that color off, and i say i don't want another color because none of them are what you say they are so how will i know what I'm actually getting? But i also can't walk out with 6 nails not pained. So i choose i different color with the help of the women owner At this point MARY is clearly pissed and FORCEFULLY removes the gel with a drill. This women is so pissed she CUTS ME at multiple fingers. I then tell her "ouch! You're cutting me" and she stops rampaging her way through my hands. The owners were great in siding with me at the end that the colors they display are not actually the colors they put on you. As for Mary, seriously the worse fill I've ever had. Lopsided nails, gell at the bottom, uneven, all different shapes, fat gell layers, and a half a*s job over all. Don't go here. The low ratings should have spoke volumes from the start and after 3 HOURS of sitting in that chair, my nails should have came out perfect

Only a week after getting them done- and I'm not a nail picker... but it keeps coming right off :(
    Kayla M.

The staff is SUPER sweet but the service is probably only worth it in a pinch, sadly. The nail gels seem old and don't paint evenly- I'm also only a week out from getting my nails done and they are already over 50% chipped! Very sad I likely will not return unless I need nails done fast. If you want a salon for the company of the staff; this is the place, If you're looking for lasting nails, it's not here right now.

Carol did a great job on my nails!!. Love them.

I've been consistently coming to Friendly Nails for the last few years. I usually call first thing…read morein the morning to check their availability for the same day & if it's too busy I'll ask to book an appointment for the next day or future date. All of the nail techs are great! I request for Cici when I want to do cat-eye or more simple gel manicures. If I want more artsy designs, I'll usually request for Ella or Karen. Gel manis are still $45, with full cat-eye adding an additional $15. Hand drawn art design nails may add between $4-6 per nail, depending on the design; while if you're okay with stickers, it may be $2-3/each. More intricate nail designs will require more time & cost more depending on what it is -- so I would inform them if this is something you want to do so they can allot the right amount of time for your booking. I typically spend about 1.5-2 hours to get my nails done (including removing the previous months' nails, nail trimming, shaping, cuticles, etc.) As stated before: Easy parking in the First St. structure behind the shop. Restroom available in the back of the store & always clean. They also do have bottled water, if needed.

My Response to Business owner :…read more Thank you for your response. I would like to clarify that my review is based on a realistic account of the service I received on May 19, 2026. While you describe the pace as 'efficient,' the service was incomplete by standard industry definitions. Specifically, the pedicure did not include the essential steps of a foot scrub, a foot massage, or cuticle cleaning. These are standard components of the service I paid for, and their omission is why I felt the experience was unsatisfactory. Furthermore, my comments regarding the tip were not a reflection of a personal preference, but rather a reaction to the staff's persistent pressure. When service falls short of the expected standard, I believe a customer should be able to decline a gratuity without being pressured by staff to justify that decision. My goal in sharing this review was simply to provide honest feedback regarding my experience, and I stand by the account I provided.

My appointment time came and the salon was still closed (I just want to note that my appointment time was 30 minutes after their opening time) and I was waiting outside, unsure if I should just leave or wait. I ended up messaging Trulycure for an update and didn't get an answer. A lady showed up about 5-10 minutes later to open the door, asked if I needed a pedicure and then to sit down on one of the chairs. Now the chairs were really nice, but did not have a built in spa. She had to bring over a tub of water. I wasn't asked which pedicure service I want (I later saw there were multiple options on their menu) and asked me what color I wanted. Andrew had walked in while I was getting my pedicure done. He worked on removing my old set of gelx that I got done elsewhere and put a new set (he did an excellent job at this). I opted for a cat eye effect on my nails since he mentioned there is a promotion at the time. I thought Trulycure is somewhere I want to go back to but after reflecting on my experience of waiting without any communication they were going to be tardy, pedicure gal cutting my toe nails oddly to the point where my big toe nail is growing out not the way I like and the cat eye not being a cat eye (looks like a layer of glitter polish applied), I was completely ready to go back to my usual place.
