I've came here about 3 times. Never had a problem, until today. I asked the person doing my toes for a white tip on my toes aka French tip. She then went ahead and polished my toes with a milky white nail polish I was a little confused as to why she was doing that. I then reminded her I wanted the French tip she then said ok. So I thought she was doing the base. Long story short she was finally done with my manicure and I told her what about my toes? She looked at me confused. I told her AGAIN, "I need the French tip" she then said "you didn't tell me" the owner I believe is Carol stood up from her desk and said "I didn't hear you tell her" well of coarse she didn't because she wasn't the one I was talking too and was not the one doing my toes. I then said "I told her I wanted white tip on my toes" she then turns to her and says. "OHHHH she wanted white tip not white polish. " The lady that did my toes then say "ohhh but I'm already done." Never cared to actually fix the problem. I then told them "it's fine you can just put the French tip on top of the base that I already have on my toes." They said okay. But then I thought about it and looked at it and knew it wasn't going to look good so I told them "nevermind don't do anything." They Never said sorry, or even bothered to actually fix the problem. My mother and I found this salon three years ago, and it has become our favorite place. We always come here and wouldn't go anywhere else! Amy is our go-to for pedicures, and she's truly amazing. I'd say pedicures are definitely her specialty. She's also so sweet and kind, which makes every visit even better. As for their lash extensions service, I wanted to give them a try because Amy does them as well, and she assured me they'd look great. While I appreciate her effort, they ended up being uncomfortable for me an hour later, and I needed to have them removed by lash specialist. They explained that the glue used was too heavy/thick. I think with a little more practice, this service could really improve, as Amy is so talented in many other areas. I called to make sure there was availability and was seen immediately upon arrival. Very friendly staff. The salon was easy to find. There wasn't any street parking but the free parking garage next door had plenty of vacant spaces. I had a manicure, pedicure and eyebrow threading. My eyebrows look great. Not too thin and nicely shaped. My manicure and pedicure turned out good but I was worried about how the experience would go in the beginning. The technician was barely shaping them and they looked uneven and jagged at first. She corrected it but nipped me a couple of times. I was a little annoyed because once or twice is acceptable. I came with my friend, Amarily, to get a pedicure and manicure for a wedding. We had planned our timing accordingly. I waited in the car because well... covid. She had an appointment at 12:30pm. It wasn't too busy at all. There were two clients there when we got there and they were getting pedicures. And there was a total 3 staff members there. For the manicure my friend asked for ombré design. Carol, the owner, did her nails. As the owner, I would assume that you can do most if not all kind of nails styles/ designs. Carol attempted to do an ombré and messed up and proceeded to fix it again. While she was getting her finger nails done my friend also got a pedicure. The nail tech who did her pedicure did an amazing job in a reasonable amount of time. It's been an hour and Carol was still working on my friends ombré design nails. At that point she gave up and had another nail tech swoop in and fix the monstrosity. Carol took an hour to do 3 nails! 3 freaking nails. It's two hours and yet they're still working on her fingernails. Keep in mind, she didn't have gel or anything on her nails upon arriving. My friend finally came back to the car and explained everything in detail. It has been 2 hours and I CAN NOT believe the amount of time that was spent on just her hands alone. This is very unprofessional. If you can do it, simply just state that you can't instead of wasting our time just for you to figure it out. Another woman came in and said something like "I saw Anita at church and saw her nails. I knew she'd been here." So seems like they have loyal customers who are happy with their service. - Attention to detail: I got Lee and she paid great attention to detail. She removed some hard skin (what are they called? Corns?) on the underside of my toe (TMI?) and now it doesn't feel uncomfortable when I walk. She massaged my feet and legs pretty nicely. She even gave me nail care advice. Cons: - Ambiance is not a priority here. Nor is the most up to date technology in the beauty industry. No massage chairs, just a bucket with plastic wrap. They dried my pedicure with a small fan that you can get at the dollar tree. - very limited colors. Bring your own. My nail session could have not gone more HORRIBLE! I got Mary, and if you do come here. DONT GO TO MARY. From the start she would pull my arm and throw my hand around. Like, the worst I've ever been grabbed by a manicurist. I asked her if they had any designs like flower, butterflies, hearts. And she completely ignored me. I kept asking and she then said "no". K whatever, It's a nail salon, how do you not have add on designs??? But alright. I chose my color " 494 Magical Mauve" she starts putting it on and i realize it's totally off, i told her it wasn't the same as the sample. she immediately got mad at me and went "ugh, it's the same. that's just old that's why it look like that." I told her "no, it's not the same. The color you're putting is hot pink, what i wanted is totally different" she then rolled her eyes and told me to pick a different color. I chose 529 " Blue River" as she was painting my nails she had an attitude. AGAIN, that's not the same color as the sample. She once more said "it's just old, it's the same" i told her it's not the same. And she just ignored me and continued. I had also asked she do my cuticles from the beginning, this women, BULLSH*TTED the F out of my cuticles. she was picking at nothing after she told me before i had a lot of dead skin. she pulled NOTHING off. I told her "why isn't anything coming off" and she said "it's okay" so i got charged an extra $5 for her to do literally nothing. (Check my pic, you can clearly see dead skin) THEN, at the end when she was putting the top coat i told her "don't put that, in going to remove the color tomorrow. This is not what i wanted" and she gets mad and tells me "it's the same color, it's same" the owner (i guess) comes over and says "let me see" to which he then says "OH YEAH, ITS NOT THE SAME this is 532 green isle" even though the bottle clearly said "529". I'm then going to pay and i say, can i have a discount because both colors i choose we're not the same and she didn't listen when i told her. MARY: then starts arguing with me from across the salon that i said i liked it. The owner quickly believe her and i start telling them no, i chose 2 different colors to which she told me "it's just old" the owns got offended from me and said "it's not old!" and i told them, that's what she told me. They then said "she's new, she doesn't know" *Like ok? So how is that my fault?* I show the owners and they both acknowledge, no the colors are in fact NOT AT ALL THE SAME. They then convince Mary she needs to take that color off, and i say i don't want another color because none of them are what you say they are so how will i know what I'm actually getting? But i also can't walk out with 6 nails not pained. So i choose i different color with the help of the women owner At this point MARY is clearly pissed and FORCEFULLY removes the gel with a drill. This women is so pissed she CUTS ME at multiple fingers. I then tell her "ouch! You're cutting me" and she stops rampaging her way through my hands. The owners were great in siding with me at the end that the colors they display are not actually the colors they put on you. As for Mary, seriously the worse fill I've ever had. Lopsided nails, gell at the bottom, uneven, all different shapes, fat gell layers, and a half a*s job over all. Don't go here. My friends and I frequented this place more often back in the days. I got my nails done here for all the dances, weddings, etc. I came here last week to get my nails done for my wedding. Service has definitely gotten worse and the quality isn't as good. I got french tip gel nails and a regular pedicure. When I booked my appointment, I asked for Linda and was told she was available. When I arrived for my appointment, Linda was busy and I was told someone else would be starting my pedicure. I was on a time crunch, so I went with it. The pedicure was okay, nothing special. My big toe started to bleed because the lady went a bit too crazy with the cutting and trying to clean out the dead skin. I eventually asked her to stop because it was getting painful. She immediately stopped and I know it was an accident. I admit my feet aren't the prettiest... as I've been running a lot and have neglected them. I've learned my lesson! After my pedicure, the lady told me she would start filing my nails. I noticed Linda took another client after she was done with the initial one. By this time, I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to be rude. The lady who was helping me was nice and I didn't want to abruptly ask for Linda. After everything was finished, she told me she forgot to apply the top coat for my pedi. She applied it and I waited for it to dry as long as possible. But I had another appointment I had to get to and left. I messed up my pedi on my way out as the top coat wasn't dried. I wish she remembered to apply it during the middle of my manicure! Oh well. It's only been a week and my gel nail are starting to chip. I probably wouldn't come back here for future services. It was good while it lasted! read more

I wish i can give zero star. So bad. First, the lady pour nail polish remover and alcohol on my finger. It really hurt wounds on my nail and I told her specifically before we started. Also, the lady put five layers of gel nail polish on my thumb nails and eventually make the polish surfaces even. When it was not completely dry because of the thick layer, the lady accused me for not putting my hand in the right position under the UV light. She gave me price for removing curtile and nail polish separately. So I told her I only needed the nail polish. She only did the nail polish but still charged me for both. And clearly, the thick gel was not dried inside and moved around when I washed my hand. I wont even go back to fix this. Need to go to another store. read more

I've come here multiple times over the years and was never fully content BUT I didn't want to leave a negative review because they've always been nice. This last time I went in for a dip manicure and gel pedi. The peso was good enough. The mami though turned into a debacle. The lady showed me an ombré look and said it was with dip powder. She said she could do it so I deviated from my typical neutral color to this neutral ombré dip. Things went bad as soon as she put on the second color and the colors were not looking ombré or blended. I asked her after the first layer if she's be able to blend it because it was looking harsh and she assured me it was the process. Well turned out she couldn't fix it and my nails looked half white half mide with all different sections of white and harsh lines in between. I should now let you know I'm a new mom and this was my self care act of the month so I felt very upset and overwhelmed and started crying. The tech was sweet enough to bring me water and assure me she would fix it. I told her to just cover up the harsh line with gold foil to make a new look and she did. This helped but now my nails were textured. The foil is thick and I can feel it when I touch the tops of my nails. I was told the manicure would have cost me $60-$65 but I was only charged $30. I paid and left. Although they were nice I will not be returning here after having given this salon many chances throughout the years. Went for a pedicure and the technician asked me to place my feet in the water and immediately take them back out! She proceeded to cut my toenails and cuticles. Afterwards she went directly to polishing my toenails! No soaking on the water, no removal of callouses on my heels NOTHING! The worst pedicure I've ever had in my life! I had to ask her to remove callouses from the heels and she still did a poor job! Then she had the audacity to ask if it's been a long time since I've had a pedicure! If you felt my feet were long overdue for a pedicure then why did you not even let them soak or remove the callouses? I scrub my feet in the shower every morning but I'm not a professional. Plus getting your toes done is a time for relaxation. I didn't come just her to paint my toes and charge $40. What a rip off! Other services were okay but the pedicure ruined the whole experience! It is also located just a few blocks from my house. Called at 6:55 pm last Friday night and asked if I could still go in... got the okay, so I got there around 7. I felt really bad but I also desperately needed my nails done, because I had an event the next day (I'm a super lagger), but no worries, I left a very generous tip. Didn't catch the name of the sweet lady who did my nails. She wasn't very chatty, but was definitely friendly. The massages on my hands and feet felt great, too. But as other viewers have stated, there are no salon chairs, so I felt like I couldn't completely relax and lean back and slouch over. She did a great job on my french mani and pedi! Shaped and filed my nails perfectly, and painted very precisely as well. They are still looking great! Again, as others have said, they have these little fans to use to dry nails. But that's not a problem at all for me. She placed a cooling fan in front of my toes, then later switched to a heating one because she sensed that I was cold. Great pricing... Costs $26 for french manicure mani & pedi. The only thing is that decor is very bare and minimal. I know this isn't the most important thing, but I think that a little more effort in this area would help make the experience more relaxing and enjoyable to customers. What I LOVE most is that she still took her time and didn't rush, even though it was already late... I didn't get out of there til 8:30!
