I hesitated to share my honest thoughts because my nail artist was genuinely sweet and kind. However, I think it's important for others to be informed before booking. I believe your experience here really depends on the nail tech you get. While my nail artist was very nice, she unfortunately did not have the skill level needed for the set I requested. Before booking, I specifically asked whether the salon could recreate the design I wanted and sent a reference photo. The person who confirmed my appointment assured me they could do it exactly as pictured. The appointment ended up taking over two hours for what I consider a fairly simple set. There were a lot of issues throughout the process--uneven shaping, multiple attempts at recreating the design, and it was clear my nail artist was struggling. I was so unhappy with one of the designs that I eventually just asked her to leave it as is because I didn't want her to keep redoing it. She also told me that my fingers were different sizes on each hand, so she used different extension sizes, which made the overall set look noticeably uneven. Each finger was an additional $5. I've had my nails done many times before and have never had this happen. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, especially because my nail artist was kind and tried her best. But I left disappointed, and I think the salon should be more transparent about whether a specific nail tech can actually execute the designs they promise to recreate. I got gel manicure and regular pedicure. Pro- Yoyo did a great job at the nail and makes it look very nice. The quality is there too--i had it for a month and it's all still intact which is great. Here is the con--the price has changed and base is $60 alone without any design yet. So if you want design...that is gonna cost you. They were not able to do my original choice in nail design which i felt was so simple. It was just green and basic flower design. Stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon and was taken as a walk in. It was a slow day and I was seen within a couple minutes. My nail tech was really gentle with my nails and took care when removing the old gel polish. Two of my nails had split so I did gel-x for those and the rest a normal gel polish. She was very detail oriented and really made sure that my nails were even and that I liked the length, shape, and color. I went with a cat eye polish and she did a really great job with the application. My nails look exactly like the sample swatches. I happen to also get my hair colored at this location with Lourdes. My last 2 visits were Very disappointing to say the least. I had an appointment to get a new set of Gel X and a simple design ( Cat Eye ) nothing crazy. My initial appointment was at 2:30 pm. I drove an hour to get to my appointment on time, when I arrived I checked in and the nail artist was still working on a client. I waited for 30 minutes until another nail tech approached me and said that she will help removed the old gel x until my original nail artist is don't with her client. While she was removing them she noticed that one of my nails was a little weak so she told me to ask my nail tech for gel Build because it's better. At exactly 3:30 that's when my original nail tech finally started on my nails. She did the gel build and they were super thick and bulky, I asked for a specific shape and she gave me something way different than what I asked for and on top of that the entire appointment was rushed because of her. It took her a total of 1 hour to do a sloppy job and my nails look embarrassing. I reached out to her after my appointment and I expressed my dissatisfaction and took pictures of the nails and the shape. She said that I can come in and she will fix them. She gave me an appointment at 2:30. While I was driving in my way to my appointment, again I live an hour away. I get a text from her saying she will be late. Because I'm polite I said no worries it's ok. I sat in my car waiting for her to text me when she arrives. Guess what? She was 40 MINUTES LATE!!!! This is the second time in a row where my appointments were pushed back either because she had a client that she was working on for an extra hour or showing up to her client late! This was so unprofessional and just put a sour taste in my mouth. If it was the other way around I'm pretty sure she would cancel my entire appointment after a 10-15 minutes when you're late. But for them it's totally ok and I have to rearrange my entire schedule and plans because of that! Terrible service and work ethics. read more

They are pretty quick for basic manicure and simple gel designs, as mine only took about an hour the moment I walked in. Check out everything they can do via Instagram. I arrive two mins before my appt and Nina started on my nails right away. I told her exactly what I wanted and oh man did she deliver. I'm obsessed with my nails. The whole process took 3 hours. I'm writing this review even though the experience happened two months ago because it still bothers me and honestly makes me sad. I truly thought I had found my go-to nail salon, but after this event, I decided to look elsewhere. Around May, I had an appointment for a simple gel removal and manicure. Unfortunately, I had a personal emergency that made me late, so I texted the salon to ask if there were any other openings that day--emphasizing that I completely understood if there weren't. I knew I was at fault and wasn't expecting to be accommodated. To my surprise, they kindly offered me a 6 PM slot, and I was genuinely grateful. However, when I arrived, the atmosphere felt completely different. The tech who worked on me was clearly rushed and not gentle--she accidentally cut me a few times and hurried through the entire process. I had a specific nail color in mind but didn't even feel comfortable asking for it. When I initially chose a color I wasn't sure about, I quickly spotted one that was closer to what I wanted. As the tech was about to start painting, I politely asked if I could switch. Her reaction made me feel like I had asked something outrageous--she seemed visibly annoyed. I apologized multiple times and even said it was okay if I couldn't switch, but she just handed me the color book without saying a word. I chose the new color immediately, but by then the damage was done: everyone in the salon was looking at me, and I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable. Throughout the service, she didn't ask once if I liked the color or was happy with it--which is something that usually happens. I thought maybe she would since I already seemed like an indecisive person. Unfortunately, I ended up disliking the final result and had the polish removed a week later, wasting time and money. As we were finishing, the salon was closing, and I finally understood why things felt so rushed. I overheard the staff talking and the phrase "cancellation fee" being mentioned. I don't know if they were talking about me, but if that was the issue, I would've gladly paid a cancellation fee instead of being squeezed into a last-minute spot that clearly caused stress for everyone and later bad-mouthed. There was another customer in the salon at the same time, and her service didn't seem rushed at all, which made me feel even more singled out. I'm giving three stars because I've had good experiences here before this, but after what happened, I don't think I'll be coming back. The situation could've been handled better with a bit more understanding and professionalism from both the booking staff and the nail tech. Got a normal Gel pedicure today by Yoyo. pricing online said $55, but ended up being way more. She asked what color I wanted and I said chrome white. Yoyo didn't mention any additional charge for chrome white, but during check out she added $25 & said the added chrome was additional $25. My basic gel pedicure ended up being $80, and after tip it was $96 I don't appreciate businesses that aren't up front about added charges. If there are additional charges, that needs to be disclosed to customers before providing the service. Pedicure quality wise, it was alright. Nothing spectacular but I did appreciate technician being gentle with the filing techniques. although she did take a long time to complete my pedicure compared to other nail salons I've been to in the past. If you want extra designs or other services, of course they charge extra. The majority of the techs here are skilled in their craft, and you leave satisfied. So here are the reasons why I no longer come here... 1. It's fine to charge extra for extra services. However, I wanted the exact same service from what I had gotten the time before, and I was given a different price. Are prices different from each technician? 2. I had a go-to girl for about a year before she left, and then another go-to girl before she left. The past year had been rough as I went through MANY girls because of their turnover rates. When I finally found a tech I liked, she was always busy. The establishment had me reach out to her directly, and she did not have any appointments for 2 months. I got discouraged and also got the feeling that she just didn't want to do my nails. 3. I will not name drop, but when the mani was completed, I noticed that I still had thickened dry skin around my nails, and the cuticles still looked as if they were peeling. So, I asked the tech for it to be cleaned and buffed out. She responded, "Sorry, I have another customer next time." The first time I let it slide, but when she told me that the 2nd time, I was done. My issue was with my nail tech's service and poor attitude during my gel x appointment. Throughout the service, my tech made several complaints about struggling to do my nails because they were short. Not only that, but she complained about having to draw several flowers on my nails. My nails were simple medium French tips with tiny flowers yet I was told they were $110. Crazy price considering we agreed on a price point of $85 on Instagram before the initial appointment. I did not feel any pain unlike other salons. She was also patient with making sure the natural light pink gel color was what I wanted. And I think the price without tip for gel only for my black and white one was $135 without tip. The purple one is with gel x tension. I've been coming here since July 2021. I live in LA and go out of my way to come here because I absolutely love Ying's work. She shapes sooo beautifully and is detail-oriented. I have a couple nails that grow wonky but Ying shapes them so well that you can't tell they are wonky unless the nail is naked. She has made my nail beds grow so healthily. Ying does really pretty nail art and abstract work. I prefer neutral and simple colors so I rarely get any designs. Whenever I tell her what color I want, she finds several shades close to it and lets you pick. Whenever I can't choose, I let her decide because I trust her judgment. Her nail work lasts a loooong time. She gets booked fast so I try to book my next 2-3 appointments. The nail salon is always clean. They always put some Netflix show on so you can watch tv while getting your nails done. They also play good music. There's plenty of parking in the plaza. I haven't gone with other nail artists at the salon, but I am always seeing their IG's stories and posts of the work they did and they're sooo pretty. Definitely try this place out! read more

I showed her a picture & I'm never one to need my nails to look exactly like the picture I'm ok just with them winging as long as the general idea is there and she did probably an even better job than the picture! Keep in mind I do gel builder but it looks like they offer gel x as well for all you short nail girlies. Prices were adequate, I don't feel like it was any different than normal. The place was small but really clean. Parking is tight but there's also street parking and maybe parking in the back? I'm not totally sure.
