Visited the Long Beach store a month ago to get an anklet for my good friend's birthday. Two girls…read morehelped me. One was in training and very sweet. The other one (trainer?) was so over the top and chatty she ended up grabbing the wrong anklet. Luckily I noticed while she was boxing it and she apologized. She grabbed the one I wanted and wrapped it. A week later I give it to my friend. It's so small she cannot get it around her ankle. We go back to the store and they suggest buying an extender. After trying on other anklets, we discovered she had sold us a bracelet instead. We finally got the correct anklet. Today, less than a month after giving her the anklet, it broke! My friend returned to the store and they are out of stock in this anklet. I'm so disappointed in the quality and service. I have several friends who also used to purchase Gorjana, but have had similar experiences with the quality. I'm not sure I will purchase any other jewelry from them. It's not worth the hassle.

I stumbled upon this place years ago when it it was located in Via Lido in Newport Beach. Since then Annette has moved her location to Balboa island. Of course, she called me to tell me she moved her location, as I am a loyal customer. I am curvy and I am short. Therefore, since I don't have the body of a typical skinny tall model, I often have trouble finding pieces that suit my body type. Particularly today, since the style is slim pants and bulky tops. For my shape, I need the opposite. What flatters me are more fitted tops and looser pants. There have been times I have shopped at major stores, such as Nordstrom and Bloomingdales, and I cannot find pieces that look good on my shape. When this happens, I go to Annette's! She not only has beautiful and feminine pieces that flatter my body shape, but her clothing line is also very unique. Whenever I go here I generally find pieces I like that look good on my body shape and are affordable. Moveover, her pieces usually stay in style through a few seasons. BeMe Chic was the only store that had a very similar specific color and similar style to the desired dress that I had ordered. The owner altered it last minute stating that it needed to be hemmed when I was clueless and didn't even really consider that factor. I would highly recommend this store for the range of dress codes, customer service, and value for the overall experience.

She was able to rush the alterations and do them with only 3 days notice (dont put this kind of stress on her if you dont have to, but I am extremely grateful that she was able to do this for me!). In addition to Linda's beautiful dresses, this is also a beautiful boutique with chic fashion- jeans, tops, purses, shoes, jewelry, accessories.
