Holy guacamole, this place is wonderful! We love the tacos so much we haven't tried the other entrees yet. The tacos all come with cilantro, onions and lime on two soft corn tortillas. My favorite are the chicharrons, or pork cracklins. So yummy and juicy. I thought the steak taco was a little dry. You can't get chips this fresh anywhere else and the salsa is just as delicious. The queso is okay and the guacamole could use a little zip. If you like a lot of heat you're going to love the green sauce. Go easy on it if you want to keep the skin on your lips. Really. FYI: When you order to go, you have to ask for the chips. And you need the chips to get the salsa to have a little something to put on the tacos because the green sauce...well, we need to keep the skin on our lips. read more

I fell in love with this little restaurant the first time I had their tacos! The food was so fresh and authentic. The second time I went back was totally different and I was so disappointed. I ordered three different kinds of enchiladas - two different types of beef, and one chicken. The meat inside all three enchiladas was hard and burnt to a crisp - like they had scraped the last remnants out of the frying pan before washing it. Won't go back. read more

The description sez that Mexican and Caribbean food is served . Went to check it out and did not notice any Caribbean food selections (maybe my observation skills were asleep). Staff was freindly and attentive. Seated outside even though it was over 90F. Ordered the fajita bowl. Very good and to much to finish at one sitting so took the rest home. Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the greater cenla area. The people who own and work at Caro's are very friendly. It's a true South American atmosphere. The food is fresh. Fresh veggies, chips, guacamole, etc. It is definitely not Tex-Mex. It is authentic South American cuisine! No one can come close to it. We Visit Caro's when it first started in 2013 after a men's conference. It was started and small, but the food was good. We went back for the first time this past sunday after a campmeeting.
