Spoke with her over the phone, discussed all that I wanted to be cleaned and detailed (it sounded like she was taking notes), and Shannon took her time to explain to me what a move in clean was and gave me a quote of time and prices. I was very pleased with her call so I booked her services. Mind you, I had just bought my first place and it was EMPTY save for a couch, 1 armchair, and a TV stand. I was very explicit with the areas I wanted her to focus on during my call. The day came around for her to clean and my mom went over to let her into my place since I was working. She proceeded to then tell my mother that this would be a 5-6 hour job, minimum; no where near the quote of 3-4 hours I had received over the phone. She then texted me and told me it would take 6 hours. I had JUST bought my place and didn't have it in the budget for that long of cleaning. I told her to forget the blinds and only take 5 hours. I received a text when she was finished so I went over to pay her. I always feel very awkward looking things over when someone is staring at you so I didn't check out their work with Shannon and her helper present, which was my only mistake. I checked the place over after she had left and I had paid her and found some issues. I proceeded to message her about my concerns and she texted back and then called me right after her text and was quite rude over the phone with what she did do. I didn't want to argue with her so I just agreed and hung up. Two weeks later, I am now starting to move my things in to my new place and found many more issues. I had initially requested a move in clean. I told her I wanted the fridge inside and out, the stove, light fixtures, all kitchen cabinets and basement cabinets detailed. I also mentioned to her that the closests were just painted and not needing to be cleaned and the carpets did not need to be touched, no vacuuming or cleaning at all, because I was going to hire a carpet cleaner for that. As I was starting to unpack my things today, I found that the top shelf of all the kitchen cabinets, the small cabinets over the microwave, pantry, and fridge all weren't clean and still dusty. Also, on top of the fridge and underneath the fridge and stove all were still filthy. The basement cabinets and the light fixtures, which I specifically requested, weren't cleaned at all. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with Shannon's promise and what she delivered.

The problem is she was very unprofessional and didn't complete the job I paid her to do. My home is only 1640 sq feet. I keep up on cleaning but from time to time like to have someone come and do the detailed stuff and have it all done in a day. Shannon came to my home and quoted me $200, which I felt was sort of steep for what needed to be done. However, I agreed because of the reviews I had read. We set her up to arrive at 9am and she did not leave until around 5. Unfortunately, Shannon of Brite Way Cleaning Services never finished the job. I made the mistake of paying her before she completed what we agreed on. She assured me she would come back to finish my kitchen cabinets, some dusting but never did. She also left dirty rags and all my rugs outside. She didn't want to change the bedding and wasn't as clear as she felt she was in what I was paying her to do. Then not only did she not show up to finish, she sent me a text at 3am on a Sunday to tell me she wouldn't be able to finish the next day. At 3am she felt the need to let me know she was in need of rest based on her Dr's recommendations. She brings her own vacuum, which I feel is unsanitary because you do not know what is being brought in to your home, from another person she may be cleaning for. She also brings her own products and rags. So if you have any qualms you should know that. For what I paid her I feel my entire house should have been completed in the 8 hours she was here. I also fed her lunch and was as accommodating as I could be while she was working. I prep cleaned for her so it was just surface cleaning, no nicknacks, papers, all bedding removed, etc. Needless to say she never called me again to set up a later date. She didn't finish the job I paid her to do and she not did call to even apologize. Which in my opinion, she was unprofessional, unorganized and I feel overpriced for the services she provided me.

One girl showed up and worked for a while an hour later the second worker showed up. They must have left right after I did because I had to totally clean the house after they left. When they showed up, 3 1/2 hours late, the technician changed the price from 59.99 to 90 dollars. When I refused to pay this updated price, he used unprofessional language. I called the company back and the "office manager" was not empathetic nor apologetic. Shortly afterwards, a "field manager" called saying that his guy was still nearby and wanted to do the job. He again changed the price, saying he was lowering it to 79.99. I refrained from his offer. He said, "Okay, you want me to do it for 59.99, I can not guarantee you your couch will be clean."
