Do not under any circumstances purchase from this company. They sent a worker who didn't put the carpet on properly. The carpet ridges out at several points. And is not placed on the floor correctly. The husband and I decided to renovate our whole kitchen. So we got some quotes and shopped around and ended up at Carpet USA for our flooring. We walked in on Sunday afternoon and were greeted by Asaf. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. We ended up leaning toward luxury vinyl planks and we picked the styles that we liked and Asaf said he'd look into their availability and pricing. He was able to send us a quote really quickly and we were really happy with the pricing! MUCH cheaper than any other quote we had received. We got good vibes from Asaf so we decided to pull the trigger. Now, we did not properly plan our renovation so we needed the flooring to get done very quickly because we were already in the process of tearing our kitchen out and needed the flooring to get done before we could begin installing the new kitchen. So we wanted to get the flooring in ASAP so we would be without a kitchen for the shortest time possible. Our bad. However, Asaf was able to accommodate us despite our poor planning and short notice! The guys who came were great and did an amazing job. Not only did they install the vinyl, they also did some patch work for our carpet. We ripped out the bar counter and a set of cabinets in the living room area and they were able to put patches of our carpet in to cover the bare floor. I was amazed at the results! It looks SO good! After the guys left, I noticed that the floorboards looked a little rough and jagged on the edges. I emailed a picture to Asaf and he sent the guys back to fix it up. It looks perfect now! Let me tell you about Art and his team at CarpetUSA. First off, he was very easy going with me when I visited the store. He let me take samples home more than once. It took a few months for me to get to a place where I could "pull the trigger" and start my remodel. When I asked Art for an estimate, I got it that afternoon. He remembered me. I gave him a floor plan, so the estimate was spot on. That helps. Prices were comparable. When I chose CarpetUSA, Art was my point man and his team showed up on Monday. I expected to just have the demolition done and the leveler down. IT WAS ALL DONE IN ONE DAY!!! I came home that night and all the flooring and most of the baseboards were installed. I usually go by word of mouth but no one seemed to know any carpet people so I ended up having to go to a few vendors. Carpet USA was the nicest in terms of store front presentation. My husband and I both found our salesperson, Asaf, extremely pleasant to work with. For the same carpet, price is the same per yard because they all order from the same wholesaler. Where you get the biggest bang for the buck is making efficient use out of your material. We needed carpet for several different areas of the house and Asaf's quote ended up being the best because he was able to minimize the waste and maximize the material usage. A couple more points to note in terms of service. I got prompt responses when I had questions for Asaf. His service team arrived on time and swiftly did the job. When I wasn't happy about how some of the carpet got frayed a few weeks later, they came right away and fixed it. Woohoo! Carpet USA IS THE BEST!!! I am a stickler for communication and CARPET USA earns an A+ in that category. Art responded promptly to my emails and phone calls, always with a cheerful voice. I went into their store, looking for a vinyl that looked like wood. Art sourced Tarkett Easy Living Finish, and ordered samples for me to take home. My husband and I decided on Berkshire Oak, and it is absolutely gorgeous! Each time I went into the store, I was treated like my business was important to them. All my questions were answered, and all the details were taken care of. Art contacted the manufacturer and my product arrived on time, to fit my contractors schedule. In my search for hardwood floors for my mother in law, I called Carpets USA to see about having her brand new carpets put into my house. When I called and spoke to Art, he told me they also did hardwood floors. Since they were right around the corner from my house, I ran over there to see the inventory. Art allowed me to take many samples to show my mother in law. We went back and forth several times, always being greeted by a warm smile from Art. My mother in law finally decided which floors she wanted and we requested a quote. I had called many other places but just had a good feeling about Carpet USA. In addition, my husband had gone elsewhere for quotes, but Art was so responsive to our needs, always available by phone, we decided to go with them. WE ARE SO HAPPY WE DID. The installation of my mother in law's hardwood floors was quite intricate with lots of detail. I shopped around for quite a while for a good berber carpet, and fell in love with a top-of-the-line brand that we couldn't really afford. First off it's hard to find a place that provides good old customer service. I have to tell you the salesman, Ed Kaplan that helped me and my husband, knows how to treat a customer. I hate pushy and lurkey salesman. Ed was not that at all. He let me and my husband look around without any pressure. When we were ready we went to him. We were not aware of all the ins and outs of carpet and exactly what we wanted, but Ed's knowledge and patients with all of our questions made the decision so easy and painless. This company sold me industrial carpet for my office that I work in every day with children. When they installed the carped it smelled like toxic chemicals. Apparently its filled with tons of toxic cancer causing chemicals that I had no idea about prior to purchasing the carpet. They told me to leave the windows open for a week and the smell would be gone. Well that never happened. Instead I suffered from chronic laryngitis and upper respiratory infections due to the toxic chemicals releasing into my lungs. I asked them if they could replace if but they just laughed at me instead. So I decided to stick it out and hope that the toxic smell would eventually go away. Well its now 8 months later and I'm still sick! They got their money and thats obviously all they care about. read more

I ordered carpet several years ago from Carpet USA, Master Bedroom, not cheap carpet. They never put it down properly and in the last two years the carpet is buckling in the middle of the floor. I mentioned it a few times to person who sold it to me. They said call me after holiday, call me when I return from vacation, etc. I finally spoke to someone he said they would come out and fix it for $350.00 which I felt was unreasonable. He said I should have let them known sooner. I believe they should have laid the carpet properly to begin with. I would not recommend this place or their customer service. read more

I visited on a Monday and within 1 hour, I picked out my choice of carpet and (because it was convenient for both of us - timing and location-wise) Asaf had measured my rooms and given me a quote. The following Thursday was installation day because the item I chose was in stock in my area. The two installers couldn't have been more professional and efficient. My arrival window was 8:30-9:30; they arrived at 8:25. My rooms were small, so they finished (including moving the large furniture back into the rooms) by 11:00. The guys who installed the floor did a perfect job and were polite and friendly. I kept expecting my luck to run out, but it never did. Everyone here seems to care, and it makes a difference. The job was installing flooring in my kitchen. I was on a tight schedule and knew exactly what I wanted, but I imagine they would be equally helpful if you just want to wander around the store getting ideas. My only quibble is with the price. I had similar flooring installed elsewhere for less, but I was willing to eat the difference because of my deadline. It was worth it, and I don't have the heart to dock them even half a star. Not only did he provide the perfect carpet, his installers did a fantastic job. After going to several carpet stores with limited selections and lousy customer service. We finally found "Carpet USA." Soon as we walked in we were surprised to find a lovely showroom of all types of carpets and an equal display of all other types of flooring at various prices. A nice change from the dusty carpet warehouses we had seen earlier. We were immediately greeted by Ed Kaplan, he was wonderful. He was knowledgable and patience with us. We have granite and wood floors in our house and we wanted to change the carpet in the bedrooms and on the stairway. Both of our pets, a big friendly pit bull and a calico cat (the boss) :) are indoor pets. So we needed a pet friendly carpet. Something that wouldn't show dirt, light enough to not show lint yet very plush. He gave us several carpet samples to take home to look at. Two days later Ed showed up to measure the rooms. He even brought more carpet samples. I finally picked a "shaw carpet" a high end carpet, the color "warm oatmeal." Don't know why it's called warm oatmeal it doesn't look anything like oatmeal. haha It's a lovely color. "Carpet USA" gave me a fair price and we set date for the installation, that also included them moving the furniture. You can save a little more by moving the furniture yourself but we have too much so we had them do it. The day of the installation a very nice gentleman name Marcos showed up with two nice assistants early and on time. The three of them were hard workers, neat and very professional. They had a lot of rooms to do so I assumed it would take two days but they actually finished in one day. Wow!! They did a great job!! I love the carpet, the color, it feels so plush and it looks amazing. Don't waste your time running from one place to another. This is the place to go. I've been looking for no voc carpet for my stairs and this website kept coming up, so after reading all the good reviews I dropped in. I asked them where their no/low voc carpeting was and they said they didn't know what I was talking about. Incredulous, I asked, "you don't know what voc stands for?" they shook their heads, I told them and they shrugged. I asked, "so everything you sell in here is toxic?" and they said yes, but quickly added that the carpet manufacturers all say it is fine.... Anyone know where I can get no voc carpeting in west LA? read more

Upon arrival, you may question the exterior of the shop, but once you get inside you have samples upon samples of carpets everywhere. If you were like me and couldn't find something fancy, I highly suggest you speak to the Murray. He is usually really busy with other orders or on the phone; however, don't let that deter you. As long as you can explain to him what you want out of your carpet/area rug. He is accommodating and friendly. *Note* they can have carpet installed the next day. They have a large warehouse locally that has a lot of carpet styles to chose from. He can show you samples of what he has in stock and will work with you to fill your design needs. He helped me greatly when I wasn't sure what would look good and helped me stay within budget. *btw* it looks great installed now! read more

A friend recommended Arturo Carrera from Carpet USA. He and his workers were very professional, prompt and did a wonderful job installing my wood laminate. The carpeting left behind by the old owners of the condo was so nasty and stained I didn't want to walk on it with shoes on (it had a smell to it too that I didn't realize until it was gone).
