Wow! We were so nervous about remodeling our home and waited on flooring for 3 years because we wanted to save and make sure we got exactly what we wanted! We met with Matt and he cane to our home and did some measurements and gave us some ideas. I explained to him what I wanted but didn't know how to accomplish that look. When we picked out trim color the ladies at the depot were so knowledgeable as well, they know everything there is to know and were so helpful! They have such a huge selection it was kind of overwhelming but they helped soooo much. He has incredible taste and really so much knowledge! We picked flooring with multi color/dimensions that work great flowing from room to room! The day of installation, I felt so great that Joe came and laid the flooring so perfectly! When a section on my stairs was damaged by a cat I contacted Penny and she was able to track down a small section of the exact carpet which was a huge help. Most recently, Penny and Neil helped me pick out new floor coverings based on specific needs. They did not try to encourage me to purchase a more expensive product than I needed. We were so far behind on getting our house ready for our housewarming party that was less than a week away. But the staff at Carpets Plus took great care of us! We had carpet that wednesday. We were overall happy with Carpet's Plus Outlet for our carpet, hardwood floors and kitchen/bath tile. The hardwood floors and carpet turned out amazing and no issues whatsoever. However, the tile became an issue and ended up being a very unpleasant situation. The installer stated that he had never installed this type of tile before and should have raised a red flag. Being an experienced installer, we didn't think it would be much of an issue. First, the cement board around the tub was installed incorrectly and had to be cut down. This is after the walls had been sprayed and painted. When questioned about what was going on, the installer replied that he didn't like the way he was being talked to. It was just us as a customer asking questions which I thought we could. Second, after the bath tile was completed, we found numerous pieces that were installed incorrectly. Matt and Heather resolved the problem and were very professional and stated that we were the customer and would do whatever needed to make us happy. Thanks to Matt and Heather. Once the pieces where identified to be taken out, the installer then used profanity to disclose his displeasure. I would hope CPO has other tile installers. The only other issue was not being notified when the tile installer would be returning or not showing up to complete the job when we were told they would be there on a particular day. Based on the tile issue alone, we give Carpet's Plus Outlet a 3 stars but could have been 5. read more
