We had a large party but waiting 2 hours for entrees to come out is a little extreme. When the food did come out it was so salty! Felt like I was eating food that was dipped in the ocean. Usually, this is one of my favorite establishments. Today was very disappointing. The staff looked very unprofessional. The cooks were out of uniform with their sleeves rolled up to their shoulders - the only thing missing was a cigarette pack. Our server was laxidasical. He didn't seem to be interested in being at work. Then came the roach. I tried to kill it before it got under our table but he was a spirited critter. We picked up our things and relocated and for the most part enjoyed the actual meal. The manager made no attempt to apologize or even offer us a desert for the inconvenience. Worst of all. I always grew up thinking that Carrabba's Italian Grill was fancy fancy. Then I finally went this past Friday with my family and was shocked by all the jeans and the tank tops. I was pretty disappointed in the apparel of other guests. Food wise, the food was on point. We did have a mishap where the calamari that was ordered came to us ice cold, but TWO servers worked and got us a scorching hot replacement, so they redeemed themselves on that. The wine was good and enjoyable, the staff was knowledgeable about it and about the food. So overall, the place was worth going to, but not as worth going to as some other places in our area for a good classy date night. Most of that doesn't have anything to do with the place itself, but other guests who have made it more mediocre. read more

So this is the second time we have come to Carrabba's curbside and the order has been delayed and missing items. They told me 30 mins and when they came to the car they told us they didn't have the extra bread we ordered so we could wait an extra 7-8'ins so we did. As we f Drove off we checked the order and the bread was missing so had to go back. No apology from them and the cheese sticks were cold and no silverware, this continues to be very disappointing. The best carrabba's is still the original in Houston Texas snd still family owned, last one in USA. I ordered togo food. The Chicken Bryan when I got back to the hotel after 2 bites it was too dry and overcooked to consume! I returned the next day and spoke with the Manager who amazingly admitted that the kitchen was overcooking many dishes and offered any 2 dishes complementary with a dessert. I ordered the chicken trio and Salmon with a cannoli for dessert. I was pleasantly surprised how well everything was prepared. The salmon was moist and side spinach delicious. The next day I ate the chicken Trio which I fully expected to be dry. It was moist, saucy and each piece was delightful. Even the side of asparagus was cooked perfectly ! First let me say this isn't my first time eating here but my first poor experience. Usually really good service, pretty quick and excellent taste. This time really good service, our order took an hour to get because it got lost. When I got my steak it wasn't cooked properly and was tough and when the manager came out all he did was apologize and leave. Not my first choice to come here or didn't feel like going but my mom had a gift card and wanted to dine in before I head out to Cincinnati. We got here early. 6:00 p.m. on a Friday night and there was a wait. I gave them my name and went straight to the bar to order a glass of wine. I got the house Cabernet Sauvignon. During happy hour it's only $6.70. It was actually good. As I sat there, my buzzer went off and we were seated within 10 minutes. Wow, that was quick. When we were seated, the server was there to take a drink orders. Got our drinks and bread really quick. Also we were ready to order since I handed a menu to my mom while we were waiting. I got the Tilapia Nocciola which is lightly breaded with hazelnuts, topped with roma tomatoes and house made basil lemon butter sauce for $16.50. Not bad for the price. You get two sides. So I got the garlic mashed potatoes and instead of the salad, I got the broccoli. My mom got the Lobster Ravioli which is lobster and romano in white wine cream sauce, topped with diced roma tomatoes for $17.90. A little steep, but hey... it's lobster. We got our meals within 20 minutes. I was expecting it to be longer, but it was rather quick considering it was really busy. Much to my surprise I really liked my meal. When I first took a bite of my tilapia, I thought it was a tad bit salty. But I took another bite, it was really delicious. The fish was rather big too and not heavily breaded. Not much roma tomatoes placed on top (maybe two small slices), but the basil was fresh, it was seasoned and cooked just right. The broccoli, was not overcooked and mashed potatoes was decent (I didn't taste the garlic). I tried a bite of my mom's lobster ravioli and thought it was good too. The sauce was not overwhelming or soaking. It could have used more lobster since you are paying close to twenty dollars. You get 8 regular size pieces. As long as my mom was happy, that's all that mattered. I would say overall, it was good service and great dining for the night. No complaints. Oh for those for you who are healthy cautious there is a section for 600 calories and under. There is also a gluten free section. Restaurant/bathrooms clean. Plenty of parking. Awful traffic, but luckily east access to get in and out of due to traffic light. Located next to Hooters on Washington Road. If I'm in the Augusta area, this wouldn't be the first place I head to, but the service was quite fast and friendly. read more

We came here for date night. The wait was about an hour & 15 mins but it was Friday night around 7pm. No worries there. There could def be more seating and maybe heaters outside for customers waiting. Once we were seated our server was very slow. She took our order and we didn't see her until the food was served. Then we didn't see her until we needed something else. She never stopped by just to ask how we were doing or to re-fill drinks. The food was good. A bit heavy and a portions are large. We got the sampler appetizer. And I got the lasagna. I expected more out of the lasagna. It tasted like lasagna I could have made at home in my over. I honestly had somewhat low expectations for this place. My last visit was over a year ago and it was just ok. However, this visit I really enjoyed. My friend got reservations and we were quickly seated upon arrival. Service was both very professional, friendly, and timely from the very beginning. Everything was presented and offered just as one would expect from a top notch restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is very eclectic. It is a place you can go on a nice date, or you could take the whole family for a birthday dinner. There were a few more kids there than I would have liked, but hey what are you going to do with them. I ended up with the sirloin shiskabobs, a Caesar salad, and the sauteed broccoli. My partner got the calamari as an entree. All the food came out together and was delicious. The service was 4 1/2 stars, but still feel a little pricey for what you get. Family live locally. They really enjoyed the short rib special, so I decided to try something. Ordered the Tomato Caprese Burrata, lasagna, and chicken Marsala with spinach and mashed potatoes. Caprese was missing mozzarella, which they brought out after I checked my bag. It was really good, wish I'd only ordered that. Bread was good with olive oil. Lasagna was salty, chunky with no flavor. Chicken Marsala was burnt with no taste, mashed potatoes had a weird taste and texture as if they were out too long. The spinach tasted like just salt, literally. I was craving lasagna so I asked the waitress if the food was cooked right after ordering. She said yes. I didnt think lasagna could be. I got my order and there was a very strong cheesy order. I figured it was aged. Well it was. The little bit of sauce I ate was good but the rest was sour. I also noticed some parts of the pasta were a grayish color. Talk about freezer burn. Excellent catering experience! Ordered the Salmon Saporito & Chicken Bryan catering bundle through the app. When I arrived to pick the order up, everything was boxed up easily for me to carry out to my car. I checked the order and confirmed the crab that was to go on the salmon was on the side because I had someone with a shellfish allergy. Everything was perfect! We are always so excited when we plan dinner at Carrabba's Italian Grill. We choose the same menu item 9 times out of 10. Chicken Bryan with a Caesar salad. I choose Alfredo pasta or broccoli Spears for my vegetable. It's really a favorite of my husbands too. Chicken Bryan has a layer of Feta cheese and sundries tomatoes on top of tender delicious butterflied chicken breast. Looking forward to my next visit. I usually don't post my reviews the same day but this bothered me. The meal was great the normal Carrabba's but I ordered car side today and it was a little off. The order took a few minutes more than expected to come out but I didn't mind today. What I did mind is when I asked for extra sauce for my calamari I was charged $3 for a 2oz solo cup worth. I told her I've never been charged for extra sauce and especially not this size. She then went in the back and came out with a soup cup size of sauce and said he will give you this size for same price. I laughed and said I only have 3-4 pieces of calamari left and I don't need that much. So I left with no extra sauce the small or large one. Ordered a cup of their chicken soup and a chicken Parmesan with steamed broccoli and a house salad. They were out of ranch dressing, which seems completely unholy and unacceptable it its own right. The soup tasted like it came from a can and the pasta tasted of clay. The chicken was well-cooked, but not well seasoned and the breading was soggy. The broccoli was a measly portion and unseasoned (gross!). The salad looked like it was devoid of love or inspiration. I couldn't eat it because of how unappetizing it looked. The second time I went to this restaurant for supper was last night, Saturday night. It was prom night as well, so it was packed. We had a 30 minute wait that seemed to go quickly. I absolutely love this place and their food is so amazing but recently the portion sizes have been extremely small although the prices have increased. Imean it should either or. Still great food but not paying that to get 1/4 of the meal.... I get the Chicken Bryan and my man gets the Chicken Marcella. The way it used to be, you would get 2 full sized chicken breast but now you get 2 almost nugget sized pieces of chicken. I used to have left overs but I could eat 2 plates now. This place is a chain restaurant and there are certainly other local Italian places we could dine at, but when your favorite place is closed on a Sunday night you don't have an excuse to be picky. This is the only Carrabba's I've ever been to so I can't compare it to any of their other locations, but I'd say it's very consistent with the amount of times I've been here. The menu is extensive and they go out of their way to serve you something better than just garlic knots and dipping sticks. I feel like I've been pushed out of my comfort zone a little every time I come here and I always walk away a little less timid and a lot heavier every time. read more

We walked in and were told it would be a 30 minute wait, I asked about first come seating in the bar and was told everything needed to be cleared off so we would need to wait. Upon looking around the dining room there were more tables that needed clearing than there were with people seated. People were waiting inside and out to be seated. The staff would clear a few things off of a table then go do something instead of getting one table cleared and wiped at a time so they could be used. We observed waitstaff counting tip money, standing around talking and trying to help the hostesses when it was OBVIOUS that the need at hand was getting the tables cleared so people could be seated yet the only people even attempting to do that were the hostesses who needed to be handling unhappy customers. We don't mind waiting for food but the level of disorganization and apathy caused us to ask the question.... If this is how the front of the house is run can you imagine what is going on in the kitchen? Needless to say we took our business elsewhere. read more

This is my third time trying Carrabba's! And they say third time's a charm. I immediately saw the Shrimp & Scallop Linguine Alla Vodka pictures on the menu and knew I had to try it. I was certainly satisfied! The waiter offered cheese for my linguine and being the cheese lover I am I had no choice but to accept. The pasta was cooked in a tomato paste so the cheese woke up the flavor. The portion size was more than enough and it comes with a salad, I ordered caeser. I also ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. Those were the best mozzarella sticks I've ever had. I can tell they were homemade and rich in flavor. The peach sangria (6oz) was tasty and filled with lemons and strawberries. So yummy! I definitely plan on frequenting this place! read more

She didn't believe I purchased a tiramisu and when I sent her a photo of it and a copy of the receipt through email she then said the melted puddle of tiramisu was uber eats problem. Went here with my boyfriend on a date night. the only reason this review is getting two stars is because our drinks from the bar were really good. other than that it was a terrible experience. our waiter was very inattentive, i think he stopped by the table twice or three times. our appetizer we ordered which was the trio of dipping sauces had a poor excuse of an alfredo on it. then when it came to the entrees, which took about 30 minutes with barely anyone in the restaurant, my boyfriend's steak was burnt, over cooked and quiet frankly very chewy. my chicken dish came with very little sauce and a whole two sun dried tomatoes on it. when we finally got our server to come over to get us the manager and explained everything to him, he was very forceful on trying to make my boyfriend a new steak we we repeatedly said we were fine with just not paying for it and would like to leave. i've been to other carrabba's and have never experienced anything like this. read more

Absolutely horrible tonight . Our server forgot to acknowledge us when we were first seated. I had to do to the hostess to get our server to come to our table. He finally arrived with an excuse that his IPAD was not working . He took our drink orders for water and bread but never brought the waters and another wait staff brought the bread . Our server took another 10mins after being reminded of our waters . Our food took 20 mins for salad and 45 for our main meal. My food was cold and when I told our server he acted as though he did not believe me . We had to ask 3 times for bread which we only received at the end of the meal . My water was never refilled. This was a complete waste of time and money . The server would not take our rewards numbers when we asked and told us "NO" because he does that later in the meal. He forgot during the meal so we chose to forget about it . This restaurant seems to be at the very end of it's life and is hanging on by a thread . There were few customers at all in the restaurant and there is no excuse for such very poor service and cold food. I would give this meal a zero if possible. Avoid this location !! I visited Carrabba's today , the meal was actually delicious! This was my first visit. My conversation walking in was "if it smells, we're leaving", "if it's dirty, we're leaving". Well, both of the above received a check. BUT, it wasn't too bad, plus we were hungry. I only want to give advice to management. As stated earlier, the food was delicious- shout out to the Chef! The floors need to be swept after each guest - they were disgusting. The bathrooms were a little unkept. The service was slow. The gentleman who serviced our table was over worked, while I saw so many others walking around, seemingly with nothing to do! I will order again, not to eat in, but to take out. I have been purchasing food at Carraba's in Augusta for ten plus years. Today was the worst experience that I have witnessed with any restaurant I have frequented. I ordered the food online to pickup curbside. I ordered three meals and an appetizer which totaled just short of a hundred dollars. When I received the food, I checked each item. The Trio I ordered consisted of a chicken breast that had been cut into tiny pieces to create a trio. The Pollo Rosa consisted of two pieces of chicken that you could clearly see had been cut into tiny pieces from a chicken breast. The Spiedino di Mare consisted of very small scallops and shrimp. The manager came out to speak with me about the order. He assured me that the breast started out as eight ounces cut in half but shrank due to cooking. I have cooked chicken breast many times in my life time and have not experienced an eight ounce chicken breast shrink to about the size of an half an ounce strip of chicken. As much as I wanted to eat Carraba's tonight, I refused to take it home and requested a full refund. Carraba's is a great restaurant with very good food. But I refuse to pay higher prices for a portion of food that is a smaller portion before the prices increased. I am ok with prices increases for the same portions. But I am not ok with a price increase with a cut in the portion size. It is actually false advertisement. The Pollo Rosa, Trio looked nothing like the advertised picture. I will not be ordering from Carraba's any time soon. If you are reading the reviews, check your order before you leave the parking lot. I am so glad I did because I drove thirty minutes from another county to pick the food up. read more
