Carrabbas is a solidly mediocre chain Italian restaurant, I believe it tries to be more upscale than Olive Garden but it somehow doesn't command the crowds that OG does. Had lunch here today and the door was somehow locked half an hour after opening and it had to keep being reopened by staff when patrons arrived. The ordering process and the wait time were as expected. Although a bit expensive for what it is ($23 for pasta with 2 shrimp and 2 scallops), it's a perfectly fine place for your non-authentic Italian craving.

3.5/5 Frequented Carabbas many times before the pandemic, but this was the first time post pandemic. The restaurant was empty on a Monday night. Just one other table other than ours. Our server was 100% fantastic..loved her attitude and attentiveness. Bread came out warm and toasty and always delicious dipped in the herb filled olive oil. The calamari was alright and the trio dip was okay too. Not sure I'd order that again though. My peach sangria was delicious, however my Spiedino Di Mare has gone down hill. This entree was my go to every time I came here, but the size of the shrimps and scallops shrunk big time. They used to serve 3 huge shrimps and 3 huge scallops. Now it's 4 of each, but much smaller in size. And the pasta used to be fettuccine, but now it's more like linguini noodles. I would recommend the Mahi dish though. The fish was very moist and had a good flavor.

Went there for lunch with two friends. I ordered the mama Mandola's chicken soup. I got more bones and skin in the soup then chicken. After six spoonful with mostly bones I gave up on it. When I told the server she informed the manager who said they had a new person in the kitchen, pulling the chicken apart. They were not doing a very good job. Other than that, he didn't seem too concerned. The restroom smells like a sewer. It literally made me gag. Really bad experience will not be back there.

We got there early so no issues with having to wait. We went around 4:30pm and the bar was a little busy for happy hour, but the dining room wasn't busy. The floor in the dining room was sticky and not cleaned properly. Service was good. The Johnny Rocco salad was delicious. The pork chop meal was tasty as well.

I can't speak highly enough about Carrabba's. We have had three takeout meals during the pandemic and Carrabba's has been the only restaurant in Centreville that has consistently prepared excellent food, exactly as we ordered, on-time, and beautifully packaged and presented. We had an early dinner tonight. My wife had the Tuscan steak with mashed potatoes and Caesar salad. I had the Chicken Trio with penne Pomodoro and the house salad. Both entrees were excellent. We shared the tiramisu that was more than enough for two people. Every item was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. We ordered and paid online. The crew at the restaurant was pleasant and respectful of social distancing. They put the food in the back seat and away we went. I highly recommend Carrabba's for takeout and hope we will soon be able to eat once again inside this beautiful restaurant.

Ordered a Fettuccine Weesie through GrubHub. It was not saucy and was still a bit dry after mixing it up. The fettuccine wasn't that great... I felt sad and disappointed eating this. It was as if this wasn't made fresh and I was eating 2 days old food.

I thought it was a similar version of Olive Garden. The grilled chicken was not dry and very good! Our server was very kind and helpful! He did a great job taking care of our large group. It was a little more on the pricey side, especially with the amount of food you get. But there was a lot of seating, so that was very nice.

The first time we tried Carraba's, I did not like it at all. I've always been team Olive Garden, and I just felt like their pasta sauces couldn't compare. That is until I went gluten free... Carraba's offers some very decent gluten free options. They have a better selection than their competitors and I will say that they are much more flavorful. I'm giving them 3 stars only because every single visit our service has been lacking. We generally go when they aren't very busy and yet our wait staff is nowhere to be found. However, as for the flavor of the food, I have to say, they are pretty good.

Our son brought us to one of his favorite restaurants, and now we completely understand why. We had a wonderful table on the patio, which made for a perfect evening. We started with the Shrimp Bad Bing and the baked meatballs, and both were absolutely delicious. For our entrée, my wife and I shared the Short Rib Ragu, and it was outstanding. We'd order it again in a heartbeat. Our grandkids loved their spaghetti and meatballs, which made everyone at the table happy. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. As we looked around and saw other dishes being served, we realized there are so many more menu items we want to try. We're already looking forward to coming back--and we'll probably be there next Friday for happy hour! If you've never been, don't wait 20 years like we did. Highly recommended!

From the staff who took our reservation, she was so polite, and concerned if we had any issues that they should be aware of; which we did, we had two with mobility issues, so she made sure we were seated on the first level. We sat on the patio which was a great idea, beautiful outdoor dining area. Our waitress was great, she had full knowledge of the menu and made great recommendations, from appetizers to entrees. We started our experience with orders of the arancini filled with bolognese with peas and mozzarella , Zeppoles with prosciutto and hot honey drizzle, fried artichokes with a garlic aioli, and the house meatballs topped with mozzarella and baked. They were awesome! Deliciousness in every bite! On to our entrees, I ordered the spicy seafood pasta, mussels, shrimp and scallops over homemade tagliatelle with a spicy marinara sauce. The stuffed gnocchi, light fluffy pillows of pasta stuffed with Asiago cheese with a sun dried tomato cream sauce. Chicken Milanese topped with a lemon butter sauce and a tomato conserva and arugula salad. Rigatoni ala Vodka. And our final dish sausage ragu bianco, homemade radiatorre pasta in a spicy sausage ragu sauce. All of the entrees were phenomenal, we each tried some of each!!! We ended our meal with the best Tiramisu we've had in a long time, Basque cheesecake, and a cannoli. From start to finish we were blown away! If you haven't eaten there or it's been a while, GO GO GO!
