It has been a while since my last visit. Today was very delightful. Our server, Brett was great. The wife and I decided to try the lunch trio. I had the shrimp scampi & lentil sausage soup. Wife had the meatballs and ricotta & Sicilian chicken soup. And we both had the Caesar salad. From the complementary bread, soups, a salad to include the small plates, everything is very tasty and served nice and hot or cold. You work hard and spend your money, a lot, when eating out these days and you don't have a dish you can finish. It's completely disappointing. I have ordered Carrabba's for my mother on two separate Mother's Days and they both were extremely disappointing. If you order a family meal for a holiday, I hope you are a family of mice, because that's what the portions will be able to feed. You'd be better off going to Fazoli's, and I HATE Fazolis. Don't expect to get enough penne to be able to feed even two people when you order it with the family meal, because they will give you a portion that could maybe feed one person and they'll actually be satisfied. Maybe they should switch to dine in only because at least then you could complain to your server and maybe get more food. All I can do is write a review online and be hungry while I wait for my pizza to be delivered because Carrabba's messed this up so badly. read more

Carraba's Italian Grill may very well be the worst restaurant's my family and I have tried since moving to Murfreesboro. Honestly was not expecting the food to be so bad based on their reviews but unfortunately we were all disappointed. They appeared to be somewhat similar to a Johnny Carino's that I used to love back in CA, not sure if they have any affiliation. Based on the huge difference in food quality I'd say otherwise. Now I'm not sure if it's just this location but whoever is cooking the food is VERY salt happy. Almost every item we tried was just overly salty and hard to consume. My husband and I got the mozzarella marinara for appetizer, my sister and her husband ordered the classic combination. Everything was salty. The guys had agreed to eat the calamari since us ladies don't eat seafood but they didn't even want to touch it after a couple bites because the breading was too salty. Same thing for the breading on the mozzarella sticks, a little burned and wayyy too salty. The cheese filling was good though. For our main dish my husband and I decided to share the fettuccine Carraba and the Alfredo sauce was, again, very salty. We did also order the garlic bread tower to go along with our meal, my husband said it was too salty for him. We would have ordered dessert since some of the items they offer sound appetizing but honestly after the letdown from everything else, we decided against it. Honestly whoever is working the kitchen needs to severely cut down on the amount of salt they use. It's horrendously un-appetizing. We did tell our waiter, Brett M., that everything was salty and all he did was offer an apology. Definitely won't be coming back here ever again and I would strongly recommend for no one else to waste their money at this establishment. Would be 0 stars from me if that were an option! read more

The food itself is decent. That's the only positive I can give. What concerns me is the environment and cleanliness. During multiple visits, I observed staff behavior that made me uncomfortable and raised serious health concerns. * Employees appeared impaired while working * Vapes and drug-related items were left near tables and food areas * Staff repeatedly disappeared into the back room for long stretches * Unsanitary items were visible near food prep spaces * The kitchen and back-of-house areas did not appear clean or well managed Whether this is poor supervision or a breakdown in standards, the result is the same. It does not feel safe or sanitary. When you're serving food to the public, cleanliness and professionalism are not optional. They are basic expectations. I will not be returning, and I would strongly encourage management to address staff oversight, hygiene, and overall restaurant safety before someone gets sick. read more

Our server(a younger, tall, black gentleman, my husband and I can not remember his names all, for this review, to give him props) he was so personable and attentive, he watched us, which my daughter felt awkward about it, but i assured her that he did it to make sure that when anything needed refilled, or taken away or suggested, he was immediately available. The food was fantastic, everyone was efficient. The manager was scanning the room making sure guests were attended to promptly. My only weird thing I thought was sort of off was the guy on the back side of the wall who was maybe the cook/grill guy? He just looked disheveled, his curly hair was unkept, falling out of his baseball cap, his shirt was unbuttoned, like a short order cook at a diner. Kind of a greasy presentation, which as soon as you walk in, there he is, bam. For such a nice establishment, he just kind of throws it off. I am 100% sure he is the genius behind the food. But, honestly, outside of that, which I'm probably the only one who noticed it, and it should be ignored, everything was spectacular, it's was an upscale experience. read more

We went in expecting an Olive Garden level experience as this was our first visit to a Carrabba's. The food was excellent and the portion sizes were fantastic. We tried numerous entrees, but the chicken parm was the best. I would probably order the chicken parm and the linguine pasta between two people and split the dishes. The side pasta for the chicken parm was mediocre to the other pasta dishes. Our server was polite and very friendly. When we asked to be seated in a full booth, they were happy to accommodate. I walked in and wasn't greeted by the host, she was texting . I asked her was she ok because she didn't speak or greet me and she kinda scoffed and said yeah. I said well I'll be sure to let the manager know and she said, I'll go get her for you . The manager came out and we had a nice talk. I told her I've been dining At Carrabbas for over 20 years and I've never been treated this way and that I might call corporate. She assured me that she would talk to the hostess, she wasn't hosting when I left. My server was Jasmine and she was great , very attentive. As far as the food, the chicken was very small and the portion didn't look dinner size at all . The fettuccine was very dry and I asked for more sauce and I didn't get it until it was time to go and my chicken was almost gone. We had a wonderful experience at this location! Our sever was very attentive. The food came out as ordered and tasted fresh. Look at how bright the tomatoes are in the photo of the appetizer! Beautiful! I definitely overindulged for this this being a lunch meal and needless to say, there were leftovers. I highly recommend the seasonal dessert with the berries and pound cake. It disintegrates in your mouth and is a lighter dessert for this time of year. We will definitely return to this location for another pleasant dining experience. It has been several years since I dine in Carrabba's. As I could remember I usually don't have a problem with my food or service. But this last visit on a Friday afternoon after the lunch rush hours. I just didn't feel like my food was up to par. Service was slow getting our entree food out, no biggie we weren't in a rush. We ordered appetizers and our side salad with some bread pretty much filled us up. My asparagus was burnt chicken was ok. We also ordered the linguine pasta. Tasted bland with little sauce. Dinner at Carrabba's in Murfreesboro has been hit/miss, and sadly with more miss. Seems management has been working on improving the quality of the food coming from the kitchen and it showed. Love their Happy Hour...discounted drinks and many appetizers half-price. Sitting at the bar, I had the pleasure of Abby taking care of me and she did an excellent job. She went to get me some of their warm bread with the olive oil and seasonings for dipping. The bread was hot out of the oven and was soooooo good. I started with the Tomato Caprese appetizer, everything was fresh, balsamic and olive oil complimented nicely, but to me the mozzarella was a bit bland. For dinner went with the soup Mama Mandola's Sicilian Chicken Soup and the Lobster Ravioli. The soup really surprised me and would be something I would love to grab a quart of and take home...it was really that good. The Lobster Ravioli was delicious, the pasta perfectly Al-dente, and the white wine cream sauce did not overpower the dish. Overall a solid meal, and the service Abby provided was awesome. read more

Let me start off by saying the food here is fantastic! I've dined twice at this location, and both times, I was very impressed with each item I ordered! The bread is served hot with a nice oil and herb dip, the calamari is cooked perfectly, crunchy and flavorful on the outside and soft on the inside with a fantastic sauce, the cannoli cake... OMG... sinfully good, huge portion, huge flavor, absolute perfection! The creamy parmesan dressing for the salad, I could drink like a soup it's so yummy! The shrimp and scallop linguine was also very very good. Although the scallops had a bit of a fishy taste, they were cooked perfectly tender. If I come back, I'll stay on the safe side and ask for just shrimp instead. So why only a three star review since the food was so good?! Sadly, the service. The first time I came it was a very busy Friday night, and when my waitress came over, she was super friendly, really engaging in the beginning, and after we put in our order... GHOST! We ordered salads that didn't come, until... after dessert, one of the entrees ordered came out incorrectly, I had to ask for water 3 times before my glass was refilled, I had to ask multiple times for bread before anymore was brought out to me, I was... well... forgot about! I thought the service may have been a fluke because of the busy night before, and the food was sooo good, so I went back last night (hoping for better service of course). Nope! It wasn't busy at all when I arrived, and the young man was again, so friendly and warm taking our order, but then he disappeared on us. We recieved our entrees before we recieved our appetizer because he forgot to put in our appetizer order. My water glass again stayed empty for far too long. We had to ask for bread twice before it was brought to us. I gave him a bit of leniency because he was new, I could just tell, and once he realized the ball was dropped with the appetizers, he really tried to kick things into gear to recover for us. All in all, great restaurant, with fantastic food, but I think the staff needs a bit more training/ guidance. read more

Come to this location often, tonight has been of the worst for Service. Ordered Alfredo sauce for the bread and calamari appetizer. After 15 minutes of the bread arriving still waiting on the Alfredo sauce. Appetizer is about halfway ate now also. It is a Friday night and I can understand being busy as a restaurant but when the Server (Hannah) comes by and drops off a refill and still doesn't see full order on table, doesn't seem like a good server. As the manager was telling a table next to us that she had good servers, and that she is glad she moved with her boss to this area from FL. Oh yeah been 5 minutes since I started writing this review and still no sauce. Tip will definitely be reflection of service. Update: After 45 minutes, Hannah stated they are really busy and she's been "asking" for it, and she would speak to her manager. Update #2: 50 minutes after the order hear manager behind me yelling about an Alfredo order that was rung in a while ago.... My food just arrived, and wow only 3 minutes after my dinner arrived so did the Alfredo sauce. read more
