I've never been to any Carrabba's location and I honestly tend to stay away from large conglomerate chains for the most part, but I was very surprised by how great dinner was here last night! The space is actually very inviting and it's not trying to be anything it's not; nothing over the top and pretty cozy and comfortable. Our service was great! Our waiter was very attentive and offered several suggestions. Speedy and friendly service! The food was... dare I say amazing? I had Johnny's Trio which came with one 7oz Sirloin Marsala, one smaller serving of Bryan Chicken and a decent serving of the Mezzaluna. My steak was a perfect medium rare and the marsala sauce was savory and delicious. The chicken was a nice cut; not tough or stringy and the roasted tomato, basil and goat cheese perfectly complemented the dish. The mezzaluna was likely frozen, but it was well cooked (not mushy) and the sauce was very flavorful. This also came with a soup or salad and the salad was a decent mix of greens, red cabbage, carrots, olives and yellow pepper. A nice departure from just a plate of lettuce covered in ranch. I'm actually shocked by how good this was! This won't be my go to Italian spot, as I prefer to support locally owned businesses, but I will be back! read more

Shame on you Carrabba's! Our waitress served the soup that had splashed over the side of the bowl. She said good thing there is a saucer there. Unacceptable! Your standards should be higher Carrabba's. We were on eggshells as it was because months ago this same waitress gave us such bad service the manager had to get involved. I don't know that I've ever eaten at a Carrabba's before to be perfectly honest. My one friend leaves it to me to usually pick the places for lunch to meet up at, and I chose here since I wanted to see what it was about. Walking in, it has a nice vibe to it. Plenty of booth and table seating, a bar area, professional looking wait staff. It was not busy when we arrived and we scoured the menu for a hot minute. We asked for the lunch menus since we were hungry but didn't want to gorge ourselves. We both got the lunch trio and literally the same thing. Italian salad, minestrone soup and shrimp scampi. The salad was delicious; I didn't care for the carrots they had on there but I did enjoy the dressing. Soup was good, very filling. To be honest, the portions for both were quite large, and I couldn't finish all of it. The shrimp scampi came out and I wasn't sure what to make of it since there wasn't any pasta. I was sort of confused at first, but my friend had to remind me it's the lunch portion. We got quite a bit of shrimp in a buttery sauce with some tasty garlic bread to wash it down with. I will say our server was very professional and took wonderful care of us. He really made a good impression on me and we both loved him. Overall, a great experience all around. read more

This is our first time in years that we've been to Carrabba's. It was a pleasant experience because our service was very good! We had two waitress's, one training and the other trainee, and even with the trainee the service was great and very attentive! The atmosphere was nice and quiet and family friendly as well. My husband ordered the lasagna which he enjoyed and I ordered the calamari as an entree and a side of Alfredo. The calamari was good. The Alfredo was a little bit too thin for me with the sauce. I ordered the steak with shrimp from the separate menu of specials. It was the most disgusting steak I have ever had. I only had 2 or 3 bytes at the restaurant and brought home the rest. It was inedible except for a few tiny bites. I never saw so many vein and thread if veins. When you pulled the meat with a fork you could see strings. If I lived closer I would drive it back so they could see it. Waste of $29.95 read more

I stopped by m to use my $10 reward and planned to order an appetizer, but almost every appetizer was unavailable. I was left with either leaving or paying full price for an entree, and I ended up spending over $30, which is ridiculous considering I came in specifically because of the reward. I only got the entree. No alcohol or specialty drinks. Very frustrating and not a great customer experience. read more

I can certainly say in the few times I have eaten lunch or dinner here, the service is more attentive Thanks to server Kathy!!! Ask for her area and you won't be disappointed with her personality, speed and accuracy on your dining order and experience! She is wonderful and works on holidays too so Tip her well! :-) The food portions and combo meals are larger and soups are tasty along with Free refill on hot bread basket with olive oil and herbs. The ambience is great. The service is adequate. The food ?it's all in the presentation. The lunch trio included soup, a salad and an entrée -that's great, but it all arrives at the same time so if you eat your soup while it's still warm, then by the time you get to your entree, it is is cold and if it's pasta, it's stuck together -not the best way to savor it's flavor. It's a shame. The bread and dipping sauce is great. They just need to correct that timing. I've asked for them to bring my pasta a little later, but that didn't work either because they just kept it on the counter and back and it still got cold. read more

I will start this review from the beginning of our experience. We sat down our server Derrick who is working derail and I geel.bad for . We went to order an appetizer but Derrick had to explain we were not going g to be able to get that they had no mushrooms evidently hmm. Ok no appetizer so he brought over a loaf of bread. I started eating it when my wife starts looking at the bread and its covered in mold oh great im eating moldy bread. I show it to Derrick the look on his face. Its not his fault he brings us another. Now I had simple food just the trio. Fettuccine Alfredo lasagna and parm chicken. The Alfredo was some kind of spiral thin egg noodle didn't even look close to Fettuccine in a watery white sauce . The lasagna was not good im not even sure what was in it and the chicken parm dry and edible is all I can say the salads were not good some iceberg lettuce with cheese sprinkled on top and some wet stuff on it. But what irritated me most is the manager dumped this whole fiasco in Derrick lap to deal with. Never once came over said a word to us. I paid the full bill without complaining of it left Derrick a nice tip told him I wasn't upset with him and told him.to tell the manager to stuck it. Obviously didn't care. I didn't find the food wort what I spent thank god Derrick was our server he made it much more bearable. We will never be back to one of these restaurants.​ read more

This is one of my favorite chain restaurants. I generally prefer neighborhood eateries, but this Carrabba's never disappoints! I miss sitting at the counter where they used to have the wood fire pizza ovens, but with that said, I do like the newer booths/layouts! Shane was our server and was pretty perfect. We ordered steaks and he was right there as they were delivered whisking my plate away before I said a word, when he saw it wasn't med-rare. We started with the meatballs & ricotta. SOOO good. I love the marinara sauce! We've even dipped the bread in it. On this particular trip, the bread was coming out of the kitchen lukewarm and we really prefer it warmer, but still good. Salads are still decent portions & fresh with some of the best creamy parm dressing. Fettuccine Alfredo was delicious as well. I was not impressed with the truffle fries & will stick with garlic mashed potatoes. Highly recommend the filet! Carrabba's knows steaks! 99% of the time, they are cooked perfectly and melt in your mouth! The blackberry sangria is dangerously delicious!! Same with the super generously sized cannoli cake for two! We take it home for later, along with most of my dinner! I am almost as satisfied with my meal on day two! read more

We came here for happy hour on a Friday around 4:00. It wasn't busy. The server was hustling and did a great job considering he was also the bartender and had other sections of tables also. I had the Tuscan lemonade which was very refreshing and not too sweet. I also had the garlic mashed potatoes and truffle fries which were delicious. My dad had the stuffed mushrooms and a salad and loved the sauce the mushrooms came in. My mom had their famous soup and loved it. On star off because when you got close to the bathroom it smelled like sewage and that is impressive due to the face that there were two doors before you entered the bathroom. The floor was also very sticky and my shoes make a squeak noise all the way back to the table. read more

When in Fl we always enjoyed eating at Carabbas so on a cold Winter day in Michigan we decided to get lunch at Carabbas. Upn tasting the dipping oil I felt that it was too salty. We started ordering soup/salad and a trio on the menu. When my soup was served i notified my server that it was too salty and spicy so he offered the lentil but was also salty. I'm a bit disappointed with the saltiness and I'm hoping they'll reduce the amount of salt in their menu. Its a good restaurant and I'm a little bit hesitant to go back read more

From when they sat us at a requested booth to the check-out it was our usual excellent experience. We eat here quite often and every experience has been enjoyable. Last night we had the pleasure of Tyrell as our server. He was personable, professional and knowledgeable as to their offering's and attentive to any additional needs we had. My husband's Pollo Rosa Maria was as usual in his words, a palate's delight. And my Linguine Positano was as well. The soups, sides, and bread basket were all tasty and plentiful. All topped off with Cheese Cake and Strawberries. Some of the finest in the area. We certainty recommend this restaurant and in particular, this location. We took a several year hiatus from Carrabba's after having several sub par meals. Tonight we went in to give it a chance as we used to really enjoy going here. We were seated fairly quickly during the dinner rush. Despite the business, the booth seemed quiet and cozy. Our waitress Shaylee was quick to our table and provided amazing service throughout our entire meal. My husband and I ordered the mozzarella marinara and both ordered the new filet and shrimp pasta Toscano. The mozzarella sticks were great. I had the Sicilian chicken soup and my husband the lentil soup. Both soups were delicious. Unfortunately, when the main course came we were quickly disappointed. The dish had no sauce at all as the noodles were extremely dry. The shrimp were good but the steaks, which were both ordered as medium, were not cooked correctly, one was medium rare, the other medium well. As we weren't pleased with this dish, management was quick to replace our meal. We then ordered the fettuccine weesie which was our previous go to dish. Unfortunately this dish was quite bland, lacking seasoning. The shrimp appeared to be boiled and weren't very good. I think it will be awhile before we try Carrabas again as our main courses were an overall disappointment. read more

Overall, we had a good time and meals. The salmon was actually moist cooked to the right doneness. The sauce, tomatoes, and capers was excellent on the salmon. If the salmon had a more seasoning, it would have been totally rocking. The lasagna was loved by my kid who is a fan of ricotta cheese. The chicken piccata and pasta was also a liked meal with a favorable banging sauce, just enough saltiness, creaminess and richness plus the capers with the salty pop over a pounded chicken breast. The pasta could use salty water during boiling. In mentioning salty water, the fettuccine pasta needed it also. The sauce was good just not enough to overcome the pasta blandness. The service was pretty good as Kathy trained a new employee. They worked well and kept the drinks filled and meals out on time. It is nice to see people starting to come back to work.
