This is a really awesome spot and I wish it was more popular! We went on a Saturday night and besides a couple, our group was the only one in the space. This is such a cool place to play pentaque and your group gets a lesson from the staff on how to play best! Plus they have reasonably priced drinks, a variety of unique cocktails, and some great food options! Go check out this fun spot!

My 1st visit was last week (thur) for their lunch special and a craving for pasta and let's they've seen me for the third time today(tues) the Cesar salad and bolognese combo is my new comfort meal literally bouncing at the arrival of my plate. Itakes me back to my childhood days eating spaghetti and meat sauce it's been the same if not better each time I miss them already. There's also a game I'm not familiar with that you can play too and rent a court out. The ambiance? Charming and the staff are welcoming and wonderful all around, great drinks and food

Very chill and cozy place at industry city! The bartender was so sweet and let us use her hot sauce I really loved it!! We got Classic hotdog it buy 1 get 1 free.. that was good enough for a bite!! We will come back :)

Why did it take a couple who celebrated every milestone at industry city (including a then-unknown "soft launch" of Japan Village for their first date, and one half of their engagement following an amazing dinner at Wakuwaku) so long to realize their wedding couldn't be anywhere else? Call it a glut of options in Brooklyn, the tristate, the destination celebrations. Intimate? Extravagant? We went through them all... until the night we found ourselves having a drink at The Carreau Club. "This would be a great spot for an after party, said Adrienne." My reply? "This would be a great spot for a wedding." One email to Hello@thecarreauclub.com and fingers crossed started what would become the most epic event of Summer 2024. Had they done private events? Yes. Did they ever do a wedding? (They'd love for us) to be their first. Did that matter to us? No! The vibes were right. And what was our vibe? "...Think 1950's Palm Springs meets 2023 White Lotus. Resort wear with a touch of luxury, sophistication and elegance." In a flurry of emails and visits we worked out a bespoke menu with Dana and Chef Aaron. Dana, a former multi-generational wedding planner, would roll in with floor plans, suggestions, and ideas to bring our celebratory vision to life. A big detail - we had the entire venue - cocktails outside (exactly 1 hour until the August summer sky exploded) and everything else indoors! She designed our wedding invites. And menus. And cards for a game we dreamed up. She helped navigating vendors and their neighbors (ask about the Brass Queens leading a second line through IC!), sound checks, run of show, and even managed one unruly guest who tried to dance on a table - and spent not only the day, but through the end of the night with us. Aaron was testing our menu on their Friday night pétanque leagues (they were lucky to get the veg mushroom tacos. Or grilled flank steak with chimmichuri. Our meateaters mashed these up and made the ultimate taco!). He tirelessly worked with us to find options for our gluten free and vegan friends (Vegan cheese at our grazing table? Hell yes. Gazpacho shooters? Mmhm. The panisse sando - a modern interpretation of the panelle sandwich for us Italians!). They laughed with us. They cried with us. They got their team to wear ascots... and of course there were pétanque lessons! Honestly everyone that was with us that day was just as much a part of our wedding as every last guest we invited. Carreau Club was the perfect venue for our wedding celebration--an absolute dream that took our vision and made it the most epic event from start to finish. The space itself radiates electric vibes, setting the stage for a night filled with joy, love, and nonstop dancing. Say yes to The Carreau Club! It's taken us 6 months to write this review because we're still processing how much fun we all had, and can't drive past 34th street without feeling all the big feelings.

Found this place while at a Yelp event. And stopped on in for a cocktail and a bite to eat. Friendly staff. And we ordered a quick sandwich to eat before we left the area. This whole area was dope. Industry City is a whole vibe. Never even knew it existed until now and I cannot wait to return and find more diamonds in the ruff.

I want to try one of my favorite traveling go to sandwiches the Cubano. I love the little garnish of the pickle on top straight to the point. It wasn't as hot as I wanted it to be, but the flavor was there and the press on the bread perfection.

The service was also great as the bartender was quick and got us our next drinks as soon as he saw we finished our first one. During our visit, we tried the Matt's Ginger Old Fashioned, Brooklyn, Vulcano, and Palermo Fix. All cocktails were $14 each, which were all nicely made. The Brooklyn was very strong and the Old Fashioned is a nice classic with a hint of ginger flavor. The other two were lighter with twists of sour. They also offer some paninis, plus a toasted lard bread ($5) that we ordered. The lard bread is from Mazzola, which is absolutely delicious, but kind of sad that they only offer 4 pieces. Cool bar in the neighborhood with tasty drinks. It's such a simple, yet sophisticated bar. There's also a pool table in the back to enjoy.

The Neapolitan is my favorite. The only food items they have are a few panini's so don't come here expecting a full food menu. They have a pool table in the back and outdoor seating. The service is always quick and the bartenders know how to make a cocktail. Love coming here whenever I'm out and about in Caroll Gardens.

In my day drinking experience I couldn't ask for better. Great music. No food. Food messes up and an old man bar. Chips mixed nuts and maybe pickled eggs. Anything after that and it's a restaurant. Sunny's did not step over the restaurant line. Quiet and competent bar tending. Just perfect. Customers are what I would describe as people that would have never have been seen in a place like this 30 years ago. Furthermore they aren't additive. In the same period of time in either Chicago or Baltimore I would have made 5 life long friends for the day. Not one single word for the patrons. Just because I don't have the Gen Z mustache/clothes doesn't mean I don't have meaningful thoughts. I would take a bar full of stevedores any day. Anyway despite the customers. It's 5 stars. Worth the ride.

The energy was incredible--definitely the kind of local spot where people come to relax and hang out like it's their second home. The space itself is amazing and surprisingly spacious, with outdoor seating as well. I didn't get to catch the live music this time, but they have it every night! I'll definitely be back :) P.S.
