When I first called the dealership, I gave them advance notice that I'd be paying cash and that I was really interested in a car and that I wanted a pre-purchase inspection. They "recommended" a pre-purchase inspector and I knew in my gut I needed to find my own. So I did. The inspector found all sorts of issues with the car, including the fact that it was low on oil and the engine was leaking oil at the valve gasket. We had to ask the dealership to top it off with oil so that we could see if the engine ticking sound went away. They said yes and then since we brought it to their attention, they decided to do an entire oil change and fluid swap, making me and my inspector sit on our butts for an hour. I then offered to pay cash if they would negotiate on price and they refused. There were about $6,000 worth of repairs that really needed to get done and I was willing to negotiate and pay in cash but they refused to budge and they were already $3,000 to $4,000 overpriced And then the salesperson was somewhat upset that I used my own inspector because they said things like, "Wow I've never seen an inspector teach you how to negotiate. That's crazy." And I looked at him and said, "And that's why I got my own inspector." They were not willing to negotiate on price. They felt like it made it feel like everything was my problem not theirs. Their customer service was terrible. Do not go here

A coworker recommended Esther, and I can confidently say I will never buy a car any other way again. From start to finish, Esther made the entire process easy, straightforward, and completely seamless. She took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for, scheduled test drives for us, and then handled all the negotiating behind the scenes. No pressure. No games. No wasted time. She literally made it feel like, "boom--done." Not only will I be coming back to Esther for every future car, but I'll have my kids use her too when the time comes. That's how much I trust her. Highly, highly recommend.

I can't overstate how impressed we were with Esther's competence and professionalism. She is extremely thorough, and moves with a speed and precision that will make your jaw drop. We spoke to Esther on a Thursday night. Told her we were looking forward to a 3 row SUV and told her what features we wanted. We gave her our budget for down payment, purchase price, and monthly payment. We told her our first choice was a new Kia Telluride, but we're open to other vehicles if the numbers didn't work. The next morning, she had located a new Telluride with all the features we asked for at a dealership in LA (we live in San Diego). She quotes a price that sounded too good to be true (it was true). Quoted a monthly payment that was well within our budget at the down payment we told her. By lunch she had arranged a test drive of the same vehicle at a dealership in San Diego. She collected all the info needed to process our loan application via phone call and text. By mid afternoon, she told us application was approved, and they were prepping the car/paperwork for delivery. By late afternoon, we learned the car was en route to our home. Friday evening, the car was delivered to our home, and we signed all of the paperwork in our kitchen. The cherry on top? I sent Esther pictures of our old mini van, and a firm offer from CarMax, that was good for 7 days. She arranged for a wholesaler to come to our house, take the vehicle, and they matched the Car Max offer to the penny! I can go on for days, but need to mention how nice it was to not have to spend an entire day at a dealership. Avoid the back and forth nonsense with the sales manager and pushy finance guy trying to sell you the extended warranty, etc. Esther does all the negotiating for you! I will never even consider buying a car another way again.

I was upfront about my situation: low credit score, past repo, no large deposit, a trade-in that wasn't in great condition, and negative equity. Even after explaining all of that, I was repeatedly told to come in and that it shouldn't be a problem. I asked multiple times because I didn't want to waste anyone's time. When I arrived, I worked with a sales agent who was honestly great. He was respectful and genuinely seemed to want to help. On Day 1, we spent hours trying different vehicles and lenders but weren't successful. I was told I may need a larger down payment (around $5,000) or a co-signer. I understood and left. The next day, I received a call and was told to come back because a woman named Natasha might be able to help. I was told she was one of the few people who could work directly with banks to try to get approvals. She seemed kind and said she would do her best. Later that night, after following up, I was told they couldn't make anything work--but that Natasha suggested I look at an entry-level vehicle like a Sentra or Chevy Malibu. I agreed. On May 22nd, I was told to come back at 1 PM because there was still a chance. After waiting, the agent told me I'd likely be placed into an entry-level vehicle and that there was a good possibility I'd leave with something. They asked about my down payment, and I explained I had $1,000 now and could provide more in two weeks. Then my file was handed to another employee and suddenly I was told there was absolutely nothing they could do. At that point I was confused. I had spent three days there, driven back and forth, and had repeatedly been encouraged to return. I politely asked if I could speak with Natasha just to understand what changed. Instead, I was directed to speak with the employee who denied it. I asked respectfully why the situation changed. He explained it was because of my negative equity and amount owed, but when I referenced information I believed had been given earlier, the conversation shifted into questioning where I got my information from instead of explaining the change. The conversation became uncomfortable, and at one point I was told to get off the phone with my partner, who had been involved in helping with the down payment. I declined, thanked Natasha, and left. I don't know if he was having a bad day, but I did not deserve that interaction after communicating respectfully and giving three days of my time. Ironically, after leaving, I was approved elsewhere with $1,000 down on a brand new 2026 Nissan. I do want to say again that the sales agent I worked with was genuinely great and encouraged me not to give up. My issue is not with him--it's with the changing expectations and communication. I hope in the future you guys treat people better. Life is already hard for people we are all trying to get better in life. Your in a business where your going to get people trying to get in better things, be kind. Lose the attitude and stop the misleading info. Also, stop having people in New York texting your clients telling them false info. Thanks! See you never again!

We were first quoted $2,991.85, which we paid, only to later be told there was a "mistake" and they refused to release our car unless we paid an additional balance. After speaking with the actual manager, Danny Chavarria, the amount was suddenly negotiated down, which made the entire situation even more frustrating and questionable. They also claim every vehicle receives a courtesy multipoint inspection, yet our rear brakes were never properly documented even though they were dangerously low. We had to take the car elsewhere for repairs. To make matters worse, our Disneyland annual pass magnets went missing while the car was in their care, and despite multiple calls, emails, and texts, nobody has responded. We also discovered a large bolt stuck in the front passenger tire immediately after getting the car back. The lack of honesty, accountability, and communication is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend others avoid this service department.
