By mid afternoon, she told us application was approved, and they were prepping the car/paperwork for delivery. By late afternoon, we learned the car was en route to our home. Friday evening, the car was delivered to our home, and we signed all of the paperwork in our kitchen. The cherry on top? I sent Esther pictures of our old mini van, and a firm offer from CarMax, that was good for 7 days. She arranged for a wholesaler to come to our house, take the vehicle, and they matched the Car Max offer to the penny! I can go on for days, but need to mention how nice it was to not have to spend an entire day at a dealership. For months leading up to that deadline, I was getting some pretty awful numbers from dealerships. I understand that prices go up every year and in general people are paying above MSRP right now.
