I had a pedicure with gel polish and a full set of acrylic nails. while the staff was attentive the service was rushed and not good The pedicure was ok but the acrylic set was atrocious, nails are not shaped correctly there is no apex on the nails, they are flat and some are thin while others are thick. some are high and look really bad. I will not be returning and don't recommend. read more

I came in with about 20min left to closing to get a polish done for school spirit week. I was not sure if they would be able to so I asked and they were eager to help. The person who did my nails got the neon paint off I did for 80's day, prepped, filed and re-polished at only 5 min past closing. Very reasonable in price as well. Linda did an amazing job on my nails. She always takes her time and pays close attention to the details to make sure they're just perfect and gorgeous. I get compliments by the times for people that see my nails. I work as a brand ambassador doing different demos so my nails need to be on point all the time. I have been going to this salon for about 15 years now. Never am I disappointed. Annie and Billy are the best and always give me exactly what I want. I can even ask them to do what they think would look good and completely trust them. They are gentle on nails when dealing with acrylic and can even make my stubby little bitten nails look nice. The acrylics stay on so well and never start coming off, even if I hit one hard on something. I would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a new nail salon. read more

For real...here's my proof: my Bestie is a perm makeup artist & stylist in an upscale area of Houston. When I mentioned I was going to see Judy, she sent me a pic of the coolest nail look for fall. Fully expecting NOT to be able to duplicate her editorial look, I showed Judy & Billy, too, the pic. Well, they immediately pulled the polish, the glitter AND the accompanying pedi color. (A few shades lighter than the nails) Judy did the BEST JOB TO DATE! I'm forever pressed for time, Judy gets me in & out quickly with a perfect look that LASTS for weeks! This is my first time visiting the salon. I found it to be very clean and most importantly, relaxing. The pedicure menu is extensive, to say the least!!! While most of the employees do not speak English, they are very warm and welcoming. The owners are readily available to offer complimentary beverages, frequently asking if there was anything else I needed or wanted! Jenny did my nails. She speaks English, is very sweet, and she is a master at the art of doing nails. I did a dip manicure, but my friend had a beautiful acrylic set with her ring fingers in glitter. Stunning!! I give them extra credit for affordable prices, busy, but not too busy; no one was waiting for service, as well as a huge selection of nail colors and designs. Definitely recommend!!!! I Read a bunch of reviews on this place telling to ask for Judy. So I called, made an appointment for that day, came in and right away sat down and she did my nails. They are exactly the way I wanted!!!! She was so quick (not gonna lie I was a bit nervous at first because of how quickly she was going) but you can tell she knows what she's doing! Every single step she did she kept asking to make sure I was okay and that I liked the shape, the thickness and the color of polish. She was so sweet! Only reason I have 4 stars, is because she was going too quick and cut me a bit on my finger and I bled :( But other than that, everyone was very friendly and the place looked super clean and well kept!! I have been to most of the Carrollwood nail salons & this salon is the best by far in my opinion because of the service, the cleanliness & the convenience, I also like the way Billy takes quality care of my nails. He takes pride in his work & my nails always look out standing! I've actually had an appointment with each of the technicians & they all do an exceptional job! They each have nice personalities & are very friendly but my favorite just happens to be Billy! This place is a 5 star salon for a reason. The prices are reasonable & you get what you pay for. My nails will last at least a good 2 weeks & that's with the shellac. They also have a great selection of colors to choose from. This salon does not disappoint! I normally go in and get a full set but when i went in i had a photo of what i wanted done. I wanted square nails with French tip. Honestly I'm upset because i had to buy nail glue because my nail came up like, i wanted a French tip set and i showed pictures of what i wanted and instead of saying she didn't know how to do it she tried and my nails look horrible. The shape the style the appearance on how it fits on my fingers. I'm just so upset and then when i went to cash out the guy gonna say "i didn't charge you for long nail" and my nails are short so i was so confused cause my nails are short and then you say you not going to charge me. used to come here when Annie was the owner and decided to come back to check it out and I will absolutely never be back. Paid $45 for a pedicure when the polish was all over my skin, half my nails weren't even painted all the way, they didn't cut my cuticles or file my nails, or get the hangnails when I specifically asked for it. my mom was sitting next to me getting a pedicure as well and they did everything for her but neglected me because I look younger (i'm 20). not happy at all. read more

Good place for a quick mani but not a good mani. Asked for a manicure. They only filed my nails down then painted them. I asked to soak my fingers and have my cuticles trimmed and they said no. "You don't need it" without eye contact or a pause. No lotion, no hand massage, just filed nails and paint. Could also blatantly tell they were in a huge rush. read more

I have been coming to the Carrollwood nail salon for Many months now. I have always been satisfied with their services until recently. I asked for ombre nails. I was not happy with the service I received at all. I did not want them to fix them because my fingers were sore because of how rough the nail tech was. I spoke with Billy over the phone the next day and spoke with him about my un happiness again. I came in as directed and was suppose to revive a complementary pedi for the service I received but he changed his mind saying he did not understand once it was time for me to leave.
