I was on the fence with 3 or 4 stars as they didn't have gluten free wraps available when I came across town to eat here and they advertise gluten free opinions. I still decided to order and we all shared Liv Wrap and Mahi wrap. The food is very fresh and delicious, however it took quite awhile. I waited about 30min for my food, which I found to be a bit crazy for "fast food." But when it arrived it was hot and great flavors. Next time I would pre order to have it ready. I haven't had a chance to order a meal from here but it's nice to have a healthy option right down the street from me. I did try the LILY'S SHAKE which has dates, roasted cashews, cacao nibs, homemade cashew milk, banana & ice in either a 16 oz or 24 oz. It was so yummy. I hope they continue to add more smoothies to their menu as I find smoothies to be a nice option when you're on the go and a lifesaver when you want to avoid junk food. I am giving this location a 1 star because I placed an online pickup order a few days ago. When I picked it up, I checked the bag to make sure everything was in there and realized they forgot the sauces so I asked for those. I saw there were two containers of food which I figured were both of the full meals I ordered. When I got back to my office to eat with my husband, I realized they forgot the chicken I paid $6 extra for to be added to my veggie fried rice. I immediately called to let them know of the issue, and the lady on the phone spoke to the manager and told me I had two options, they could deliver the chicken to me, or give me a refund for the chicken. I then asked for a refund because I was too busy to wait to eat, and they said I should see the refund in my account in the next few days. Well it's about 2 weeks later and I still don't see the refund. I've been calling to follow up but every time I call the line is busy...I'm disappointed because I frequent this place often and even bring our staff here for lunch sometimes, but after this experience, I feel like they stole from me and therefore I don't think I will ever be back. Normally I love carrot express specifically for their liv wrap. The past couple times this has been the most underwhelming experience in this location. I don't know if they forgot how to wrap a wrap or if they stopped training there employees how to do it right. I have never had an issue at the midtown location but this downtown one has forgotten my salad dressing twice! The roasted brussels sprout kale salad looks NOTHING like the photo. They did not include candied pecans and raisins, it had 2 cherry tomatoes cut in halves and 3 brussels sprouts. I added half an avocado for $2.50 totaling about $17 for a bowl of dry kale, parmesan and some apple slivers. It's absolute trash. I'm more annoyed that this was the second time it happened.
