I haven't been to this location in a while and if we didn't have prior engagement I would have loved to dine in here. Today I had to settle for iced honey cinnamon latte and apparently they changed the coffee supplier it tasted just as it did before. The interior is kept clean. The staff members are friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere just feels positive and warm. I definitely recommend this place to others. I will definitely be back again here in the future. I really want to love Carrot Express because the concept and menu are great--but the experience at this location is just too inconsistent. The service is very hit or miss. Some visits everything runs smoothly, and other times my order is incorrect or there's confusion. I understand this is fast-casual, so I'm not expecting white-glove service--but I am expecting a basic level of accuracy and efficiency. The biggest issue, though, is the pricing. Paying $47 for a Caesar wrap, a vegan salad, and a Perrier is honestly hard to justify. At that price point, I expect consistency and a seamless experience, not a gamble every time I order. Another great health-conscious eatery. Carrot Express is perfect for a quick grab and go or a nice casual lunch date. Nice cozy ambiance where you can sit inside or outside. Their menu offers wraps, fruit salads, bowls,vegan and organic options. I ordered the salmon burger with brown rice and avocado bowl. The salmon burger was a bit on the dry side but tasty. The portion was ok size but a bit pricey $22 for the bowl. Not a place I would have lunch everyday. I did enjoy and liked the freshness of the food and how immaculate the place looks. Really clean and staff was quick and friendly. I noticed they have cassave chips which I would like to try next time along with one of their smoothies or juices. Stopped in for lunch with my daughter. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Walked up to counter to order then given a number to bring to table so they can serve you. I ordered the La Bomba wrap which was served warm filled with falafel, quinoa, kale, roasted eggplant and hummus. Omg it was filled with flavors. Came to carrot express for lunch and loved it. It has a lot of windows which brings in a lot of lighting to the restaurant. There is a lot of space as well. You order your food at the cashier and take a number for the food to be delivered to your table. The cashier was very nice and took our order promptly. The food came out pretty quickly. I have ordered the legal wrap very frequently and I love it! I think it's a good wrap for when you're feeling very hungry. The freshly squeezed juice is also my favorite thing to order since the carrot gives the orange a hint of sweetness. Happy to know there's a location here and checked it out. There must of been some work going on as they had large industrial air mover fans and a ting of musk upon entering. The decor is consistent with other locations. I ordered the Liv with gluten free wrap and a Bliss bottled drink. Both tasted as delicious as expected and filling. Service was good. Clean and nice location. They had a great special on wraps for almost half off. I got the legal wrap. It was a bit heavy on the rice would have like more ingredients other than rice. Nice to have a place for healthy meals in the area. Ordered the ciabatta sandwich with chicken and pesto and it was great. Good size and I liked the pesto and greens in it. The salad on the side was good too. They're a little heavy-handed with the dressing, but it has a nice flavor. Don't know why others knocked the atmosphere so much. Yes, it's all white, slightly bohoish maybe. Seats are comfy and service is good. The only downside is the pricing. Ok, I was not sure what to expect at Carrot Express. It seems like a fast food spot when you walk in but SURPRiSE! The food is way better, I enjoyed a Pesto Chicken Platter that was really good. Avocado was fresh as well as the Pico. Enjoyed a bottled Coconut Water and will return. Guys don't worry if your lady wants to have a salad here no issues many of their dishes have Chicken or one of the fresh fishes. Good spot! read more

Healthy for real! Hungry for something healthy and light on the tummy...this is your spot. Of course I Yelped this place up and I wasn't disappointed. I've been trying to eat healthier and after seeing the pics, I wanted to try it out. I ordered the Shaved Brussels and Kale salad. This salad has roasted and raw brussel sprouts, kale, apples, pecan pieces, golden raisins, and shredded Parmesan and it comes with a lemon and apple cider vinegar dressing which in my opinion was perfect for this salad. The salad was nice and tasted very refreshing. The greens were crisp, the apple strips were tasty, the pecans were crunchy. It didn't taste like one of those salad that they premade and then threw in a fridge. So a thumbs up for the freshness of the salad. I also ordered an Açaí bowl. The bowl is large and very filling. It's topped with fresh fruit. I asked them to omit the coconut, pineapple and honey. The açaí was still very frozen but the fruit were nice and fresh. Overall the food I ordered was good. The salad was tasty and I'd absolutely order it again but the açaí bowl was too expensive. I eat açaí bowls at least once or twice a week from another spot and I pay about $11 for it. This bowl was $15 and I feel the flavor was just okay. I do want to mention that this bowl has nuts in it so if you have a nut allergy, be careful to ask them to remove the nuts. I honestly feel this place is hella pricey. I spent nearly $40 on these two items. This is more of a lunch spot. Now if their menu items are organic, the prices would make sense but I do not know if they are or not. They are located in the Shops at Pembroke Gardens mall across from Misha's cupcake place and next to Fuddruckers. read more

This is definitely a great place if your cautious about healthy food as they offer several options. What we ordered: Oriental Crunch salad 10/10- I added some chicken to it. I loved everything about this salad! Fresh mixed greens, avocado pieces,cashews, sesame seeds, bean sprouts - topped off with a Honey Lime peanut Vinaigrette! Delicious & Nutritious! I will order this salad again for sure. Chicken Ceasar Salad wrap- 5/10 Ehh the hubby wasn't a fan of this wrap. It was more of a Kale - chicken-less wrap ( in his exact words) it looked good. We ordered a wrap that had falafel in it and my mom ordered a poke chicken salad, to go which comes in a pretty big bowl. We were surprised when we only got one small container of dressing for this big salad. The chicken was dry and not tasty. I had lunch with a friend, we both had high expectations. The menu is extensive with lots of options. I had the shredded brussel sprout salad with grilled Mahi Mahi. The salad was a huge portion, the dressing was really good but needed a bit more if I would have finished the whole salad . I enjoyed the salad but was expecting more brussel sprouts which were yummy and less alfalfa . The fish was tasty but dry. My friend enjoyed her salad, I don't remember which one she had. We both agreed that it was a bit pricy at $24 for salad. Not much ambiance, clean, white, sterile looking space.
