Let me start by saying we love McAlisters sandwiches, soups, iced tea, and lemonade. The new kickin crab chowder was amazing. Today and another time we visited my daughter got chips that were opened (same kind both times - Ms. Vickie's salt and vinegar chips). The first time we tried the chips, they were stale. Today when I saw the deflated bag, I promptly put it aside to throw away. Chris, the general manager called me the next day and apologized for the chips issue. I told him the request was for nothing more than to please look into it because this is the second time that it happened to us on the same kind of chips. I appreciated the prompt follow up. Been to two other McAlister's Deli locations in Broward but this one is a year old and my first try. I went here today to of course get their specialty Reuben sandwich but tried the tomato cucumber salad as a side instead of a lone vegetable or fruit bowl. The meat was packed into the sandwich and consistently great but the salad surprisingly stole the show. It was very refreshing and complimented the beefy sandwich perfectly. They offer a massive inside seating area plenty of space for a party and a decent outside patio. The bathroom was super clean and modern. read more

Going with the pick-2 option is a great way to try different things, it's given me the chance to try a lot of their items at this point. Every time I order, the large portions are consistent which is why I keep coming back! The employees are always friendly at this store, as well. In the years I've been coming there's only been a couple times where my order was incorrect & each time they had no problem correcting it quickly. As long as everything remains the same with McAlister's, I'll be back many more times. If you've never been, I'd highly suggest coming. My dad comes in here multiple times for week and this time the family joined him. Rhonda was very helpful and is always coming by to check on us and clear away plates. I opted for the choose 2 with the Savannah salad and the south western spicy chicken sandwich. They were both so yummy. The salad was generous with the blue cheese and the sandwich was served on yummy warm bread and the avocado and other ingredients were all super fresh. We ordered from DoorDash so I can only talk about my experience from that. We ordered and then 20 minutes later it was here. So the service was quick. The food was wrapped very well so that nothing spilled. I got a potato soup and it was ok. I also got half a chicken club sandwich and I feel I ate more bread than anything else. One bite and it was gone.( that's why there's no picture). My husbands order the got wrong he asked for no cheese and got cheese in his wrap. Went to McAlister's with the entire team after our Playoff soccer game. I was completely impressed with how smoothly the line moved and flowed and how the staff never seemed overwhelmed or flustered with such a long line. We were an entire girls soccer team plus parents and coaches. Not only were they efficient but the food came out quickly and correctly...well at least what we were served at my table was correct. I was hoping there was tuna on the menu (pescatarian) but surprisingly there was none. They have chicken salad so tuna salad seems like a simple add to the menu. Not sure why they don't. Anywho, I ended up ordering a veggie sandwich on a multi grain bread (maybe ciabatta?) ! I had low expectations because usually the vegan options like this are pretty bland and boring but this was actually really good. The only thing I personally didn't like was there was so much cucumber and I don't really love cucumbers but I picked some off and it tasted much better. There was spinach, cucumbers, marinated peppers and other stuff that made it come together nicely. I'd order again for sure...just with less cucumber. Overall, for the tiny sandwich which was also pretty flat, it was pretty pricey. The restaurant itself kinda gives off a Jason's Deli or Panera vibe as far as it's set up and decor. But the food just doesn't taste that good to me. The food is very fresh though. I ordered the Choose 2 combo. The McAlister Club has little flavor. It is boring. It has ham/turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato. I am glad they did not put mayo on it as I requested. The bread is so bland. The roast beef and cheddar with horseradish was OK. I would say this is the better of the two. But I won't come back for it. My cucumber tomato salad was odd. I didn't like it. I couldn't eat it and didn't want any of their other sides. Around closing before I walked to the register a manager there was rude. He watched me the entire time no greeting nothing I have a service dog I carry around me due to medical reasons and he questioned why I brought him into a restaurant. I usually enjoy my meal whenever we come here but tonight, not so much. The girl at the register seemed like she really didn't want to be there. She wasn't rude but just seemed indifferent. We ordered nachos which were made quickly and waiting on the kitchen counter for pick up, but the cashier had to bring a curbside order outside and was gone for a while. When she returned, she brought our nachos at the same time as our meal so the cheese was lukewarm by then. Most of the chips were stale. I don't know if my mind was playing tricks on me since there was only 1 other couple dining in, but some of the chicken pieces in my Savannah Chopped Salad looked shiny. I was afraid to eat the chicken. On a good note, my husband enjoyed his turkey sandwich and baked potato. The girl who was at the register did her obligatory walk around and asked how everything was. From reading the reviews I thought I would have liked this place better. We tried coming here yesterday but their system was down. They couldn't take orders. So we came back today. My daughter and I have been wanting to eat here for a while. I ordered the Black Angus full sandwich with macaroni as my side. I thought my sandwich tasted alright. It came with roast beef, red onion, lettuce, tomato and I asked for the horseradish sauce on the side. I wasn't sure I would like the sauce but I did. It actually helped the sandwich a lot. The macaroni and cheese was not very good. It must have been frozen originally. Even the boxed one I make tasted better than this. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie for dessert. The lady who came around to refill drinks told me three times how good that cookie was. She was right. It was delicious and the best part of the meal. I sampled my daughter's choose two. She had a different roast beef sandwich and the McAlister Club which had ham and turkey on it. I did not care for either of them. The table service was better here than full service restaurants. I am surprised I haven't written a review long before this because I have been coming here for quite some time, basically since this location opened. After my local Jason's Deli closed I was afraid I would never find another shop like that until this place opened and then all my dreams came true (deli food wise). The location is easy to find and there is nice amount of parking around it as well. The interior is spacious and you can always find an empty table away from others here which is great if you are still a little worried about eating out during these interesting times. The prices are always great and I always go for their half and half combo. I usually choose the half sandwich and salad option and the amount of food you get for the combo price is staggering. I ordered the half McAlister's club which is smoked turkey, ham, bacon, cheese and toppings, as well as the garden salad. The salad is your run of the mill basic salad but everything in it always tastes so fresh to me and the dressing is plentiful you get with it. The sandwich is mouth watering and pilled pretty high with meat and it will keep you full for a nice amount of time for sure! I decided to try this place through DoorDash because the sandwiches look amazing. And I am so happy I did! The McAlister Club was so fresh and the perfect ingredients put together! The PecanBerry Salad was the perfect combination of sweet and savory! Truly loved it and probably my new favorite salad! The broccoli cheddar soup was just the right amount of cheese! Not too overpowering. And the nachos had the right amount of spice in the chili cheese sauce. All the foods had very fresh ingredients! 10/10 for sure! Been on a health kick lately. Remembered this chain as my boss had ordered from there for a company meeting once. Had tried one of their salads and it stuck out to me. Happened to be in the area after doing kickboxing and I didn't want to ruin my workout, so I began craving the aforementioned salad that was ingrained in my mind. Stepped in and ordered it to go. It was the Savannah chopped salad. It brought grilled chicken, dried cranberries, Gorgonzola, honey-roasted almonds, tomato and cucumber on mixed greens. I accompanied it with their sherry shallot dressing. Ended up inhaling the salad and feeling very pleased in more levels than one. I managed to try this place out when they were doing a free delivery deal. I was extremely impressed! I ended up ordering the steak and roasted pepper sandwich because I thought it sounded interesting and different from my usual meatball sub I get at other places. Oh man, it was filling and rich in flavor. The steak pieces were delicious, tender and juicy. The chopped up peppers in this sandwich was my favorite part since peppers make everything amazing. They give a nice little kick to the sandwich. Since what I ordered was a combo meal (choose 2) where I was able to get half of the sandwich and a cup of broccoli soup. I haven't had broccoli cheddar soup in quite awhile and my only regret is that I didn't just order a large portion of the soup. It was perfectly warmed and creamy. I order the 1/2 shareable and the 1/2 spud and got the Veggie sandwich and the Veggie Spud without cheese. The veggie spud was okay, i'm sure if you ordered it with cheese, it would have tasted great. Decide to stop in here after shopping at hobby lobby. Saw a lot of good reviews about this place so I was pretty excited to try it out. First off, everyone in there is super nice. Everyone asking how are you doing, anything they can do to help, explained the menu and what they have to offer. Customer service was an A+ in my book. Now the food, the menu consist of mostly sandwiches, sides are soups, chips, among other things. I got the McAllister sandwich, and it was fantastic. All the ingredients tasted fresh, crisp and bursting with flavors. Inside has plenty of seating and they also have outside seating as well. This place has good food and is not that expensive. They have a decent menu and the food has always been good. The staff is always friendly and willing to go get refills and clear plates away. It hasn't really ever been that crowded although I think that they have a lot more people carry out than eat in. Watch out Panera, McAlister is coming for your crown.... Stopped here the other night with my mom to get some dinner. We both ordered the pick two. I got the McAlister Club with a bowl of Baked Potato Soup and one of their iconic Iced Tea with some Peach flavor added to it. The size and quantity of the meal was quite nice. I also really appreciated the giant cup they give you for your drink. Everything tasted excellent and was very fresh. As for my mother, she got the pick two and ordered a French Dip and the Baked Potato soup. She got a side of broth for her dip and was happy with the amount of meat they provide on the sandwich. Her comments and nitpicks about Panera are that they don't provide enough protein in their meals for the price--whereas here she was well satisfied. The store is well kept, clean, and sanitized. The employees all seem to be wonderfully pleasant and the service was quick and efficient. I like that this restaurant has a large menu with plenty of variations of sandwiches, salads, soups, baked potatoes, etc. I really want to try one of those loaded baked potatoes with a sandwich next time. I was pleasantly surprised with my first experience at McAlister's deli. I met a girlfriend there for lunch on a Monday at around 130. It was pretty quiet there at this time. We went to the counter, easily placed our order, and went and picked our seats. The food came out to our table almost instantly. I had made a few adjustments to the Turkey sandwich I ordered ( no sauce, changed the cheese) and it came out exactly how I ordered. They have all the condiments you could possibly need for you to grab and bring to table. The Turkey sandwich hit the spot, it was fresh, big portion, and came on soft multigrain bread. I had the potato salad on the side which I also enjoyed. Staff was friendly and brought me a box to take half my sandwich and the rest of my potato salad home. It's fast food deli. It good. There's a very limited menu, unlike at a real deli where there is way more to choose from. My kid had the macaroni & cheese with chips. She said the macaroni & cheese was very good. My wife had the tomato soup and half a vegetable sandwich, she said she really enjoyed it. As for me I had the smokey pepper jack turkey sandwich with cucumber and tomato salad with pickle. It was a served nice and warm, it tasted really good, the salad and the pickle were good too. I think the best thing here is there spuds. We just shared a plain old " just a spud " . I love a baked potato, it was huge! It looks like after its cooked they scrape out the inside, cook the skin a bit longer, and then they put the inner part back in and serve it. After getting a haircut close by, I decided to check out one of the newest installments over at the Pembroke Pines City Center. They have a nice and inviting space inside and offer Salads, Sandwiches, Soups, Baked Potatoes, etc. I decided to order the Sweet Chipotle Chicken Sandwich and the Reuben Sandwich. The both came with sides, so I got the Jalapeño Spud Chips and the Mac & Cheese. To drink I got the McAlister's Famous Tea (Sweet), which was good but not too sweet. I ended up speaking with someone, which I guess could have been an owner and he was telling me about the business. He mentioned that they have a special process of filtering the water, which is what makes the tea so good, he also said that unlike most places, they clean the machines every night, which makes sure that the tea doesn't have a bitter taste to it. For my daughter, I decided to go with the Turkey and Cheese Toastie and the Sea Salt Spud Chips. The kids meal also came with with a small chocolate chip cookie. We liked the food and the restaurant, and definitely recommend that you go check it out if you haven't already. read more
