Honestly, I could not find anything wrong with this place. The food was delicious. On the surface, it seems like your standard small cafe, parking can be hectic if you are familiar with this plaza, but none of that really matters, because they have a great menu with awesome food. I came in for a quick lunch with a friend. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. I ordered the Portobello Mushroom Burger and he got the La Bomba wrap. It took a while to come out, but it was worth the wait. My burger came with a side salad. I chose the Green Goddess. The burger and the Salad were amazing! Very fresh and flavorful. I dont think I could make it any better if I were to do it myself. I didnt try my friends wrap, but he was also blown away at how well it was prepared and how it tasted. This is one of those places that if its close to you, consider yourself lucky. There are several locations around the 305, and their next location to open is in the Gables area. After eating some of the açaí bowl I started to actually liking it - but this place seems like a joke. Older woman behind the counter wearing gloves saw us walk in, and she went to the back holding her phone. The other employee that was actually working had to stop and take out order at the register. I asked her if she was making my açaí bowl and she replied YES...luckily because the older woman had started eating wearing the same gloves she was touching her phone with right over the cutting board. We proceeded to tell an employee about this - she told the employee to stop right in front of us and that employee walked forward WEARING THE SAME GLOVES and crossed her arms and stared at us. Ordered a green goddess salad. Avocado is ready to be smashed for guacamole it's so soft and already blackening in the edges. Beware they don't serve extra virgin olive oil in any of their salad dressing. Extremely surprised and disappointed we are so beyond the point of comprehension on proper oils to use in dressing this one took me by shock. Will not return will not recommend for this sole reason. My favorite place in Aventura 100% Every week I try to order something different, but so far I am in love with La Bomba wrap and The Refresher juice! Last weekend I ordered 2 wraps and 1 Refresher Juice via their website for delivery. It took 20-25 minutes for the order to arrive (3 miles away from address) and the delivery guy only had 2 wraps and no juice. I called Carrot Express and let them know my juice was missing... it was annoying but my juice came 15 minutes later. But above all, along with my juice they gave me a complimentary carrot cake, very unexpected. I had never tried it, but it was great. I was looking for a restaurant with a healthier option and I found Carrot Express on Yelp. It's a nice little spot. The lady who help us was very helpful given it was our first time there. She took the time to explain the menu and made us comfortable with our order. The food was amazing. It looked and tasted great. However, I wished they would have changed their gloves throughout the process. I kept thinking about all the things they touched with the same gloves while preparing my food which took away from the overall experience. Visited today for the first time excited to try out their extensive menu. Unfortunately when I walked in no one was at the counter. I took my time looking at the menu thinking that they stepped away for a second. After a few more moments I walked to the end of the counter and saw that no one was in the kitchen. As I walk back to the front of the counter I make eye contact with an employee who looked to be coming in from behind the kitchen. Great, I am thinking I can finally place an order. No, they never make their way to the cash wrap. I then see another employee come out of the bathrooms make eye contact with me thinking he would notify who ever was working the cash wrap. No, 15 minutes of patiently waiting still no one came to acknowledge us. Best place on earth! Everything is fresh and organic. I have been a loyal customer ever since their first restaurant opened in south beach and have religiously eaten here atleast 3x a week over the years. My favorite dishes are the pesto chicken platter with quinoa almondine substituted for the brown rice, the liv wrap, or the new impossible burger. As for drinks and sides they have amazing smoothies and health juices/power shots as well as baked potatoes/sweet potato and the new tostones are amazing! Hands down the best place in Miami if you are in a hurry and want a clean healthy lunch or just want delicious food that meets your diet standards. A must visit for travelers! read more

This is one of my favorite places to come and I would usually get my favorite drink but everybody makes them different. The first one they made had so much lemon in it that I couldn't drink it so I gave it back to them. they made me a different one which is my favorite drink: the green drink. Well, they didn't make that one very well either. I asked them to make a different one and the manager refused to so I wanted my money back. That is horrible business. She is out to drinks now, the revenue, lost a good customer, getting a terrible review. I have always had good experiences there, but this is horrible management. read more
