    Harissa bowl

First time trying Cava and this location is super busy. The line was long, although I did a pickup order I still waited for about 40mins until my order was actually ready so I don't think it mattered whether you ordered online or in person the time was the same. I tried the Harissa chicken bowl and more Harissa sauce and it was spicy never will I make that mistake. I took off some of the harissa sauce to have a nice balance with the hummus and tzatziki sauce. You have the opportunity to sit inside and it was very packed so of course there's noise. You can tell it's good food judging by the wait.

Finally made it to CAVA on a Wednesday around 12:30 PM after all the hype. The place was packed with about 20 people ahead of me, but the line moved quickly. It was a little hot inside, almost like the AC wasn't working, which was noticeable given how crowded it was. Once I reached the first server, I let her know it was my first time, and she took the time to explain how everything worked. I really appreciated that. There were also screens explaining the process, and I loved that there were stickers on the glass listing ingredients for the proteins, grains, and sauces. That was very helpful for first timers. As I moved down the line, the experience dipped a bit. The other servers weren't rude, but they weren't friendly either. No greetings, just very neutral. Service wise, it felt a little inconsistent. You get one complimentary protein (chicken) or can choose two proteins. I added the braised lamb, which came with a $3.50 upcharge. That part honestly annoyed me. If I had ordered only braised lamb, it would've been a full serving for $3.50, but since I added it as a second protein, I was charged the same amount for half a serving. That didn't make sense to me, but now I know better for next time. I ordered a brown rice bowl with various toppings. The green jalapeño sauce was really good, and the harissa sauce had a nice kick. The braised lamb was the staR. Very flavorful. Once everything was mixed together, the bowl was honestly vetu good. I'd definitely go back, just at a different time of day. Parking wasn't an issue at all since it's in a large plaza shared with other stores and restaurants. Food quality: 4.7/5 Overall experience: 3.5/5

Love CAVA. This location is way more convenient than the new Brickell one because of the parking lot alone. It does get busy and I waited about fifteen minutes in line, but they had plenty of staff and were clearly doing their best to keep things moving. The food is always fresh and delicious. CAVA never misses and I'll definitely keep coming back. The space is clean and casual, similar to Chipotle, and perfect for a quick meal

I stopped in to the New Cava Aventura location and was immediately impressed by how fresh everything looked and how fast the line moved, even though it was busy. The staff was super friendly and patient while I built my bowl, offering suggestions and letting me sample a couple of things before deciding. I ended up with a grain bowl loaded with spicy lamb, harissa, hummus, pickled onions, cucumbers, olives, and all the good sauces on top (the crazy feta is my fav) . Every bite was packed with flavor the toppings were fresh, the meat was seasoned perfectly, and the sauces tied everything together without being too heavy. The pita on the side was warm and soft, perfect for scooping up all the extra toppings. The restaurant itself is clean, bright, and easy to sit and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed, even though it's in the mall. For the quality and portion size, the price feels more than fair. If you're at Aventura Mall and want something quick but actually delicious and satisfying, Cava Aventura is a must. I'll definitely be back!

One week into opening. Super efficient and friendly staff. Line was out the door but we got to order our food fast. Very easy to sign up for rewards program while in line. Digital menus switched between English and Spanish which is good but they should slow it down. The change is too fast. Food was great tasting and fresh. Clean and bright space.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. After opening my food we noticed something crawling out of the pita. Come to find out it's a baby cockroach. Thank goodness we noticed before eating anything. Do not go here.

Cava, Clean, efficient, and super friendly, quality food.

The beautiful outdoor setting creates such a unique and relaxing atmosphere that you almost forget you're still in the city. The food was outstanding. The grilled meatballs were flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the cheese saganaki was absolutely delicious. But the real star of the meal was the beef souvlaki--it was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. And I have to mention the fries that came with it. They were honestly some of the best fries I've ever had, and definitely not something I expected to be raving about at a Greek restaurant! This was an amazing dining experience from start to finish, and I can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu.

For appetizers, we ordered the Ali Nazik and Eggplant Carpaccio. The Ali Nazik was phenomenal. We were given a side of bread, which paired really well with the dish. The lamb was packed with flavor, and the smoked eggplant yogurt was fire. The two complemented each other perfectly. The Eggplant Carpaccio was good as well. I will say, though, that if you aren't a fan of dishes with a heavy vinegar flavor, this may not be for you. I'd also be curious to see how this dish would taste served warm. For our entree, we ordered the Beef Souvlaki, which came with six skewers of filet mignon. The beef was perfectly cooked and very tender, so no complaints there. However, the rest of the dish didn't really stand out to me. The fries were decent, but nothing crazy. As a first-time visitor, I also feel like this probably wasn't the best dish to order if you want to get a full sense of what the restaurant has to offer. One of my biggest disappointments was that the restaurant primarily had outdoor seating. Maybe it was just the night we went, but it was extremely hot and humid, and the fans in our area weren't cutting it. It was also very dark, making it difficult to see the menus and even our food. I think better lighting, especially toward the front of the restaurant, would make a big difference. The food came out very quickly, which we appreciated. I do wish our server had been a little more helpful, though. We wanted to learn more about the menu and were hoping for some guidance and recommendations, but he didn't really guide us through the menu the way I had hoped. Overall, Mandolin was a solid experience, and the Ali Nazik in particular was a standout. I'd be interested in coming back and trying some of their other dishes to get a better feel for what the restaurant does best.

Tucked away in a quiet corner on the water, the moment you walk in, you're transported into what feels like an eclectic Mediterranean cave. The warm textures, glowing lights, and tranquil atmosphere instantly set the mood. It's unexpected, inviting, and the perfect escape from the city's hustle. But let's talk about the real star--the food. I had the chance to experience both the Miami Spice dinner menu and Sunday brunch, and honestly, I couldn't pick a favorite dish if I tried. Every plate was beautifully presented, full of fresh coastal flavors, and had its own unique twist. Whether you're craving seafood, brunch classics, or something adventurous, there's truly something for everyone. What makes Yaya's even more special is the experience. Thank you to Angel who is a dear friend and the guy to go see....grab a table by the water, watch the boats drift by, and if you time it right, enjoy a magical full moon night complete with live DJs and mesmerizing fire dancers. If you're looking for more than just a meal--for a place that captures the energy, beauty, and waterfront magic of Miami--Yaya's Coastal Cuisine deserves a spot on your list. We repeatedly had to go out of our way to flag someone down just to order drinks or check on our food, while noticing that nearby tables were consistently attended to without issue. It genuinely felt like we were being overlooked, which made the entire experience frustrating and uncomfortable. What made matters worse is that gratuity was automatically included, so we were forced to tip for service that simply did not meet even basic expectations. I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but this experience stood out for the wrong reasons. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to ensure all guests receive equal attention and service.

We were whisked inside to the intimate, dimly lit interior with a DJ table tastefully tucked away in the back of the space. Service was welcoming but overall, not quite as warm and attentive as I've experienced at other places in town. We started off with the Turkish Manti Dumplings, which were the standout of the night. The complexity yet restraint of flavor, balancing indescribable buttery, roasted, earthy notes with a touch of umami and subtle tanginess from the yogurt. The Mezze Sampler was a nice option for trying three of the dips. All very tasty, but I've had slightly better elsewhere. The Sweet Jeweled rice was the other standout with flavor and textural variety that made each bite pop. I found the Roasted Brussels Sprouts undercooked and lacking the same level of flavor as the other plates. The weakest dish of the evening. The Grilled Whole Bronzino got top marks from the meat eaters at the table. Overall, 4/5 stars for a delicious meal but with tough competition around town limiting my ability to hit that 5.
