Instead of being treated with patience and professionalism, she felt ignored, dismissed, and spoken to in a condescending manner. She was sold a new battery before the battery already in her Jeep Cherokee was even tested. When it was later confirmed that her original battery was still good, Jim Mills refused to refund the battery even though it had just been purchased. Rather than trying to help, he made side comments to my wife that "everyone in the store already helped you," making an already frustrating situation even more humiliating. When I called the store hoping to resolve the issue professionally, Jim Mills recognized who I was and immediately hung up on me. As the owner of a security company, I know employees represent the reputation of a business. If one of my employees treated a customer the way Jim Mills treated my wife and me, I would consider it completely unacceptable and take immediate action. I sincerely appreciate Bret from AutoZone's corporate office for listening to our concerns and making things right. However, I believe management should carefully review Jim Mills' conduct. No customer should leave a business feeling ignored, belittled, or embarrassed after simply asking for help.

Since I'm smart and handy or whatever, I got under the hood of my car - itself a predicament that warrants watching a YouTube video. Btw it's not just me - this one time back in the day when I went to get my oil changed at a lube spot, the mechanics there couldn't get it open either lmao. Welp once I got under it I noticed the coolant reservoir was bone dry. As in there was a leak not as in I don't know how to keep coolant in my car. So I called over to AutoZone to confirm they had the right coolant in stock. BTW shout to them for still being open at almost 10pm by this point. I Ubered over, got the product, Ubered back to my car, filled it up and drove home with my hands on the wheel and my cheeks clenched tight. The price was adjusted upward 400% from comparable parts but I paid it because I needed it. 3. I drove 20 miles to pick it up only to discover that it was broken with a golf ball sized part of the box missing, still apparently worth 400% markup. My sales person was Brian Meddings. Do not use this person who works on markup and made good money on my part, but refused to have it overnighted to my location and made me call him several times to get status on this item. 4. The part was broken and my two week waiting period flushed.
