While there I bought paint rollers. The staff suggest a roller and I questioned them thinking I wanted a smoother one. They told me the one they recommended is used by the professionals. I asked for two packages. I hate them! And, the two packages were not the same! Roger's Paint store told me I should have been using a smooth roller for my walls not the ones the Paine Shoppe sold me. The staff there do not appear to be knowledgeable!

I have been to those other box store places and they do not compare, the service and attentiveness along with the quality of the products can't be beat. Any home projects you may have they will help with, letting you know what is needed, how to do it, and the most economical option for you. Also, they take all of your old paint cans for recycling so it is a great place to drop this off as you can't put in your trash or recycling. Also, if you are unsure on how a color will look on your wall, the staff there will guide you into which hue to choose. There were some that I was told would be too much on 4 walls with little light but went a shade down and it was perfect.

I went in knowing EXACTLY what I wanted and needed, bought the most expensive paint they carry (Aura by Benjamin Moore) and AFTER cashing me out I am told a paint can opener is an additional cost. Why not ask that BEFORE you run my credit card??? On top of that they did not put the color on the lid, so I am sitting at my desk now nervous that it won't be the color listed. I will painting on Saturday and if I open it and it's wrong you better believe they will be taking it back!!! I will NEVER return to one of their stores again. A "discount" on paint (that is offered by Benjamin Moore Directly, not the store itself) does not make up for bad service!

They're were a few guys around that could have watch me. The guy said no that they wouldn't do that. He was short with me and a bit of a jerk. It should not be an issue for someone in a pickup truck to be able to load over 10 bags of mulch from a pallet in the back lot on a truck. As long as someone is watching! I was an employee, and witnessed this, and questioned owner, he tried to tell me I was mistaken, it belonged to him, until a clients house was burglarized 2 days after he finished painting their house. they had sold their house, and bought another, (house we painted) they had very expensive equipment and all their belongings stored in garage until remodeling completed. He didnt even show up to receive second half of payment! guilty? definitely! I immedietly quit he owed me 500$ pay and refused to pay me what he owes me. weeks prior he never wanted to pay me for the hours he owed me! He deducted hours for no reason. Please do not hire this man!
