This shop destroyed one of my husband's wheels when I went back and asked them to fix a mistake they made. The tires I brought in had 2 different sidewall tread patterns, so when I dropped off the truck I asked that the aggressive tread face outward. They only did this on the front tires and not the back. When I brought it back to be fixed, they destroyed a wheel and stole my lug nut socket. I am positive that they did this on purpose because the wheels and lug nut socket were in tact when I got it back the first time. I should have known they would retaliate by the way Chris the shop manager treated me from the moment I came back in with the truck. I am out hundreds if not thousands of dollars to replace this wheel and my lug nut socket, not to mention the time and cost to have it redone by someone more competent. It is also worth noting that when I came to pick up my truck the first time, it had been sitting in front with the windows down and key on the center console for 2 hours. Please do not bring your vehicle here if you care about it! I attached pictures of my receipt and all of the wheel damage.

When I had asked about warranty of the tires they said I had not come in for the proper tire rotation. I only had them rotated 2 in 2 years. (My fault for not realizing tires need rotation every 5K miles) Well, long story short, I had to replace my tires. There was not an offer of discount, since the tires were only 2 years and only had 20K miles on them. I did not replace my tires here, nor will I go back. I found Mario's because the Ford Service Department told me it would take 6+ weeks to make a diagnostic appointment and they'd need my vehicle for 5 days to do a diagnostic. Just a diagnostic. And then it's another 6-8 weeks to schedule the actual work, and who knows how long I'd be without a vehicle for that. No shade to those fine people. They're doing the best they can with the constraints of the system they're working in. I've been driving Fords for years and always had great experiences with the service departments. But it's reached a point where you have to wait months (diagnostics + repair) to get a simple thing done. So I took a risk and I tried something new. Enter Mario's. I called them yesterday and they said to swing by the next morning. I had a diagnostic with an estimate in less than an hour. They went ahead and did the repair and removed and replaced the serpentine belt tensioner, idler pulley, and both belts by lunch time. I know there are a lot of quality, hard working, reliable and honest mechanics in the community but you never know what you're gonna get sometimes when you try a new shop. Capitol Ford can get you settled by Thanksgiving. Mario's gets the job done before happy hour. Easy choice.

Thankfully, I was less than a half a block away from the back entrance to Les Schwab and needless to say it was a scary situation cause the bang was so loud I pulled in shaking and told them what happened. They came out and checked it and said it couldn't be saved and unfortunately because it's four-wheel-drive I had to replace all the tires. The good news was it was time for tire change anyhow. They told me they would take care of it right away. I called a friend we went for breakfast so when I came back, it was done. The price was so reasonable and they guarantee all of their tires and work. I buy all of my tires there, and during the winter tires have a tendency to go up and down based on the hot and cold. I just pull up to the open bay they come out check my air and off I go. They have all kinds of specials during the year where they'll rotate your tires for free and everyone in their customer service office and all of the mechanics are so kind and nice. I can tell you when I went in that day. I was very stressed out, my husband had passed away four months before and my nerves were shot, they were so kind. I highly recommend them for any kind of work like that, they really do take care of their customers.
