Great Irish pub! My fiancé and I have visited twice now, and we always leave full and happy! Dave has been our bartender both times as well, and he really makes you feel welcome! He always answers any questions and has a wonderful personality... I am also always intrigued by the menu and love that there's specials and something I want to try... So far I've had the French onion soup which is by far one of the best I've had anywhere (and that's saying a lot because I've ordered it at many places)...it's very tasty without being overly salty and super cheesy! A must try! I've also had the jalapeño stuffed shrimp appetizer which I've never seen anywhere else before, and it too is quite delicious...and lastly I had the portobello wrap...OMG! Sooooo delicious! The mushroom is cooked perfectly and has a beautiful meaty consistency while the accompaniments pair nicely and make it an amazing choice...my fiancé went for the chicken quesadilla both times because of how delicious and cheesy it is! He absolutely loves it, and even craves it, so we'll be back again very soon! I'm looking forward to trying something else, but I'm sure he'll stick with his old faithful! read more

I don't belly up to a bar often, but when I do this is "my" bar. The service is always phenomenal. The drinks and food are wonderful and consistent. They book the best live music each Tuesday and Saturday. The patrons also tend to be well put together, amicable, intelligent individuals where conversations flow freely while at the same time not having any meat market type vibes. Bartenders Jim, Johnny, and George are always refilling your drink and keeping a lookout for the next open seat so you don't have to wait too long. Love them!! read more

Carson's is a standard pub where the kids hang out when home for the holidays. Not sure when and if the locals spend time here but during one Christmas break, we sat down on the patio to get some beers and a few wings. To our surprise they were outstanding. The buffalo garlic sauce is rich with flavor, not too spicy or smelly, just outstanding. We now think about these wings when we leave and order them when we return to Stuart for a visit. They did not disappoint this visit during quarantine. Cannot attest for anything else on the menu but give the wings a shot! read more

Absolutely the best burger I have had anywhere in the last 3 years. This burger was 10 ounces of fresh ground sirloin beef. Not frozen, not a pre made patty. Fresh and pink on the spot. I ordered it medium and it was perfectly cooked, pink in the center with hot juices trickling out. Bun was toasted to perfection on not too bulky roll. The rest of the menu is amazing, reasonably priced and an impressive variety. We will be back within a week. Service and ambiance excellent. McKenna is the best, ask for her. read more

Friends recommend we try the burgers here. This is definitely a tavern with seating near the bar and a few outside seats. It's comfortable and we enjoyed the food. My husband had the open face filet. It was cooked perfectly! I had the croissant with chicken salad and it, too, was yummy. The sides were terrific! Broccoli was fresh and crisp but well cooked. The steak fries were UNSALTED! This has become important since there's so much hidden sodium everywhere . And the crown jewel of our visit was Kilkenny on tap! We will be back! read more

Read reviews and was fooled into thinking it was a good place to eat. My daughters Chicken Lindsey was a small piece of grilled chicken with barbecue sauce with no marinated flavor( she eats a lot chicken sandwiches from a lot of restaurants) she couldnt finish it ! I had the Chicken Murphy which was evidently prepared like a stir fry , except they dumped all the oil in with it , the flavor was like they dumped Not Boullion in it ,it was nasty , my wifes chicken Quesadilla evidently had part of my oily food dumped on it , the final meal fish and chips was a large portion and good. First the place has a nice "feeling" to it. Well decorated and all but mainly just feels like a good place. The bartender was Frank, nice guy, attentive and pretty welcoming. Food was a burger which I requested well done but came out red on the inside, but I was already over the place by the time it came out. A request for mayo was never responded to. Catsup added some flavor to what was a very bland burger. Fries were great. What killed the place for me was the crowd. Nothing wrong with it but it was obviously a "regulars" bar. They even reserve bar stools for them. Problem with that is that the crowd is just not my crowd. Give it a shot, your experience might be better read more

Service is not great. We were a party of 4. One person did not get her order for almost a half hour after we got ours. This is awkward. Three of us are supposed to sit there with our food getting cold and soggy or be rude? We asked twice for her meal to be brought. The manager came to our table to announce that a 25 minute wait was not too long. Apparently she never learned that food should be served to everyone at a table at the same time. The food was ok. I feel bad writing a poor review because the food was decent, and the staff was efficient and nice. BUT...if you value your hearing, you will not eat here. By the time our dinner was done, about 1-1/2 hours, I all but ran out of the place to relieve my eardrums. I should add that I'm in my 60s and do wear hearing aids. My ears were ringing till the next morning. Now they've started ringing again, 2 days later. I'm sorry, Carson's because you do get a lot right, but there is no doubt in my mind that I further damaged my hearing by eating at your establishment. Our party of five came on Irish Night specifically to hear a certain Irish singer. When I called for reservations I was told they only reserve outside tables, can you hear the music outside? No. Kind of a turn-off, but we took our chances showing up early to get indoor seating. The ambiance is like a dark pub, crowded and noisy. Food was very good. I met a new customer at this place because it is his local joint and I am glad I did. I had the Tavern Salad w/Blackened Shrimp and it was so good that I did not even need the salad dressing (which was good) the ingredients and fried onion toppings were perfect and for $18 it was loaded with shrimp so a very good value. My customer always orders the Filet stack which looked fabulous and he ate everything. My coworker ordered the BLK Mahi Wrap which he said was great as well. The only reason I did not give this place a 5 star is because it is rather dark and quite noisy so hard to have a good conversation which was the purpose of our visit. read more
