It keeps your mind off the poking with sharp metal objects part of the visit. Other than being a cool dude.. I have a helluva reason to love this dentist. A few months ago, I went to my old dentist with a crazy toothache that went up the whole side of my head. I mentioned it was a day after biting on some very hard bread so I thought I might of cracked it and not felt the effects until today- I had no idea? She said she did not see cracks but likley it was factures you can't see and I would need a root canal.. just like that. I was like really.. oh no! After banging on my tooth in which I howled in pain to prove it to me again she said,"Yep Root canal." She wanted me to get this done ASAP. I told her I have to call back. I wanted a second opinion. I went in to see Dr. Miyata who was excellent about fitting me in the next day for an emergency visit. He looked at and hit my tooth too, but he also took a x-ray and saw a fuzziness on his picture that looked like I had a sinus infection. I did not think I did as it was just a toothache that went up to my ear. That looks like a sinus infection, the bread thing might have just made it sensitive too. He gave me antibiotics for my toothache and said if this does not help to come back in and we will see what's happening once this infection goes down. With in days I was better. Yay! No Root Canal! He took the time to evaluate all possibilities before mangling my tooth for no reason. I am grateful. Later that month, Dr. Miyata's office sent me a card welcoming me as a new patient, shoot, I should have sent him a card for saving my tooth! I just went in again for annual cleaning/check up and I have to say I really love coming to a small practice, the staff is so nice and I like the lil bag of cleaning goodies ya get with your cleaning. Really nice service and conveniently located next to the Light Rail.

I've complained to him about various tooth issues and he says, "Well, we could do such-and-such procedure, but you're probably better off just waiting a while to see if the symptom subsides." And he's always correct -- the random ache goes away and I didn't have to pay a cent nor endure a drill. I've had dentists who were like car salesman -- they'd use their medical knowledge to intimidate me into accepting an unnecessary procedure. Many dentists seem really greedy. Dr. Miyata is not like that. He often talks with the assistant about super random stuff while he's working on my teeth, which I find both odd and entertaining.

Got two fillings recently and it went well, although I had sensitivity after the first one, but it has slowly gone away. I hear maybe its our nerves getting used to the fillings and all. Overall, I enjoy my visits here. Dr. Russell is a great dentist and I definitely recommend him to new people, or people who are afraid to go to the dentist, my experience with him, is that he is very calm and patient and explains what hes doing as he works on your teeth or before. I know there are people who are scared to visit a dentist, but I think you should be fine in this office. Everyone is really friendly, informative and fast. =)

As a result, I am a bit antsy about getting dentist check-ups. Unfortunately the period of time since my last dentist visit had grown into an embarrassing amount of time. Finally decided to make the plunge to return to the dentist chair since I was desperately in need of a cleaning. I didn't want to go back to the last dentist that I went to, so I decided to look for a new one. Dr. Jung's office was one of the closest dentist offices to my home which was the main reason I decided to visit along with the glowing Yelp reviews. The office is located in a business park on the stretch of 148th Ave heading south. Office hours are a bit limited as they are only open from Monday through Thursday during regular work hours. So you will need to go elsewhere if you are looking for a dentist office that stays open late or has weekend hours. The office does open at 8 am so it might work for someone coming in before they start work that day. As it was my first time, I had to do dental X-rays. The number they do is quite extensive and way more than I have done elsewhere. With so many X-rays taken, it gives them a better view of the health of your teeth and gums. I thought the dental equipment that they have here was the most modern that I have encountered of the dentist offices I have visited which I appreciate. The cleaning that I got here was thorough and my teeth feel much more healthy afterwards. Most of my visit was spent with one of the dental hygienists who took my X-rays and did the cleaning. Dr. Jung came in at the end to introduce himself and check my teeth. I found the staff to be friendly and not (too) judgmental about me not having had a teeth cleaning for a while. Though I was fearing visiting the dentist chair again, the staff here really made me comfortable and did a great job with the dental X-rays and cleaning. If you are looking for a dentist in Bellevue and are available during the weekday hours they are open, I would recommend this office.

Philip and all of his staff are kind, considerate, thorough and friendly. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for dental work and recommend his office without hesitation or reservation. I fully intend on seeing Philip until HE retires! I've had mostly cleanings done at his office, but Philip has taken care of a couple of cavities for me and my first crown. He's always been gentle and caring and I've been delighted with the results.

While they are a fair distance from my home and massage office, it is worth my drive. The Staff and other dental workers are friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. I have been there several time and always experienced great service and great smiles. Thanks to them and myself I am doing quite well. They even helped a dear friend of mine in the midst of hardship. While I do not have healthcare insurance, they always manage to work with me. Not sure how prices compare to others dental offices, but for my dental and physical health it is Worth the price ... the rest is up to me .... Only floss the teeth you want to keep.

Dr. Pruner is a humble and empathetic doctor with a very high level of knowledge and skill. As a patient, I like to be informed and the more I learn about the techniques and materials he uses the more impressed I am. What gives me the most peace of mind is knowing that I can trust that my care is in the best hands with him and he never takes shortcuts or compromises. I have had 2 dental implants at this place. They made it a breeze…read more Doctor Pruner has a bubbly cheerful and friendly demeanor. He puts you to ease and then is highly focused on providing superb professional care. Whenever there is a slight bit of discomfort he kindly lies and says "that was the worst part". I think he said that about 3 times on each tooth. I had very very little discomfort after on both occasions and the implants are rock solid. He personally calls you that evening for fallow up.

Seems to be a revolving door up front, and miss the staff who were there about a year ago. Seriously thinking about finding a new provider.
