I took my vehicle to him, and he asked me to leave it with him so that he and Vivian could evaluate the damage and handle the necessary inspection. Based solely on the photos, AAA estimated the damage at approximately $6,500, while Greg initially estimated the repairs at approximately $2,500. However, Greg explained that he needed to inspect the vehicle more thoroughly, including opening the trunk and removing the bumper, to determine the full extent of the damage and whether the vehicle was worth repairing. After Greg completed his inspection and confirmed that the vehicle was, in fact, totaled, I felt more comfortable with the decision because I had received an in-person professional assessment rather than relying solely on photos.
