We had a very disappointing experience with this business and would strongly caution others before using them. A few days ago, we were involved in a minor accident and our vehicle was not drivable. A retired State Farm agent told us this shop might still be an approved State Farm network body shop, so we called to confirm before towing the car there. The gentleman who answered told us they were approved, and instructed us to have the tow truck driver park the vehicle on the street nearby. The tow truck driver said he was familiar with the business and that this was the usual procedure. The next day, we followed up to see whether they had started the approval process with State Farm. The shop said they had contacted State Farm but were waiting for a response. We then contacted State Farm ourselves and were told this business was not an approved State Farm network auto body shop. When we called the business back, they began backtracking, saying they were not actually approved but "work with State Farm" when cars are brought in. That immediately raised concerns about their honesty and business practices. We then found a legitimate approved State Farm repair shop and informed this business that we would be moving the car from the street to the approved location. At that point, they told us we owed $300 per day in storage fees. We were shocked, because they had specifically instructed us to park the car on the street, and the tow truck driver confirmed that this was their normal arrangement. They then claimed the street parking was considered "their lot." In our view, this was not only misleading but felt retaliatory once we decided not to use their services. We expected transparency and professionalism during an already stressful situation, and instead we were met with inconsistent information and unexpected charges. We would not recommend this business and would advise others to verify insurance network approval directly with their insurance company before towing a vehicle here. read more

We were referred to Maple Auto Body by friends who had good experience there getting body work done on their Teslas. I have since had two occasions having my model X repaired there, once at the Burlington location and once at their newly opened San Mateo location. They did an excellent job fixing the car both times. The first time the car had to go through more extensive repairs. They were able to pick up the car from our home and deliver it back to us, all complementary. When the car was back, not only was the damaged parts fixed and looking like new, the whole car was looking brand new as they had given it a thorough cleaning. The second time, the front bumper had a distortion around a light and some scratch marks due to a minor collision. I thought it'd cost me at least several hundred dollars to get them fixed. I called around my regular body shops I normally use to see if any can paint and mask an aero vented hood I had purchased. Masking involves masking parts of a panel to paint or not paint that area being masked. My regular shops said they couldn't do what I was requesting. I contacted Maple on the suggestion of a few friends. I sent a few pictures of how I wanted it to look and they said no problem. I dropped off the hood the week of Thanksgiving, with a promise time of a week or two after Thanksgiving. I was sent regular updates and pictures of the work. Kevin gave me a call on the first Monday of Dec saying my hood was ready to pickup. I got there that evening and after about 15 minutes to polish and clean up the hood, it looked amazing!
