Took truck in for estimate for minor but several scapes . Original estimate was approx 4k - we understood that body work is expensive . Required a 50% deposit . After having the truck 3 weeks came back w additional finds of almost 40% more than original. We have had work from this company when"Rick " the founder was running the company and NEVER had issues of ANY kind such as poor communication , requiring deposits , only excepting bank checks or incur 3.5 % surcharge on credit cards ! They are super nice but also loosely goosey. You call And ask about your car and they don't know what's going on and then take almost the whole day to call you back. Also, had to bring my car back to them because things they fixed before started to crack and the my whole roof had to be repainted. It takes forever for them to do anything and you never really know what's going on with your car. read more

Update: A new manager called me today and seems totally on it. She offered to pick up the car and take care of the repair. I have restored confidence in this business. Will provide an update when the repair is done. When I went to pick up my car, the bumper was not on correctly. There was a large gap between the bumper and the car body, and I could see the clips that were supposed to be holding on the bumper were broken off. I had to bring the car back three times, but they still couldn't get the bumper on correctly. The manager said the clips were not holding properly and they would have to glue on the bumper. It has been inconvenient, to say the least. Even though it was their mistake, they said they would not provide a rental car or even drive me to my house 10 minutes away. My husband recently brought the car in again and spoke to Jack about fixing the bumper and also replacing a rear light. Jack said he would "work up an estimate." Then we never got a callback. I called 7 times and left messages with the lady who answered. She said "Jack" was outside, with a customer, on another line, at lunch, etc., and he could never come to the phone. Worst customer service ever. I will be informing USAA Insurance about their refusal to honor their lifetime warranty. read more

Worst customer service and workmanship ever. Had a small, scratch on my bumper. They said it needed to be replaced. They put on an aftermarket bumper that clearly didn't fit. I complained about it when I came to pick the car up. They said they could fix it with some clips and glue. First began the saga that has lasted years. I have taken the car back. They are no less than 10 times and they have promised to fix it properly. Every time I pick it up it is still not on correctly. They have excuses for not returning calls, and whoever is supposed to be in charge, is always, "at lunch." I never get return calls. This place is a rip off and a joke. Looks like I have to take them to court to get a refund. They're hundred percent satisfaction guarantee is complete BS. read more

Had a great experience with Ricks after hitting a deer in December. I heard that it was taking almost 8 months to get vehicles fixed because of the supply chain issue, however Ricks was done with mine in 3, and it had extensive damage. They updated me weekly on the status, and were so very nice when I went to pick up the car. Repairs were great, and looked like a brand new car again! Thanks Ricks! read more

Called them after finding out that the shop my insurance company sent me to will take a week for an estimate. The lady that answered would not schedule anything because I have a claim pending. Even though I told her I have the option of not using it. I just want a quicker quote / repair. I ended the call when I understood she was focused on insurance and not gaining a potential customer. My car has minor damage and may not meet the deductible. I guess they aren't customer focused. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Will never be coming back here again. Had my car for 3 months and were slow getting everything done the whole time. Horrible communication during the whole process, never gave definite answers on when things would be done when I would ask. Anytime they told us they'd call us back they never did once and I would have to call them the next day to get an update. Told me the paint process would only take 2-3 days and it took a little over 2 weeks. For the first 3-4 weeks they had my car never bothered to contact me to let me know they were still waiting on insurance to approve the estimate so I could contact them to speed up the process so instead my car was just sitting in the shop getting nothing worked on. When they finished my car they sent another supplement to my insurance after all the repairs were done but never decided to let me or my insurance know or ask for approval to do the work they were billing, just did the work without anyone's permission and it was almost as much as the original estimate. Will never recommend this place to anyone and will tell people to avoid this body shop at all cost. When we questioned anything we were given different answers which were BS. This place clearly was trying to scam us out of more money and doesn't have a very good business practice. Worst experience I've ever had with any sort of business. read more

I was referred to Ricks by a new coworker. I'm new in town so I don't have much in the way of contacts. I will say that the work they did on my car looks pretty good. I can't complain about quality. Plus when I dropped the car off they went out of their way to give me a ride home. Initially my impression was really good. My first complaint was their seemingly shady trick. I was told I'd hear from them in a day or two with an estimate. That seemed reasonable. I forgot my glasses in the car and had to go back the next day. I was shocked when they brought me to my car and I found it ripped to pieces with parts of my car (front and rear bumper covers) jammed inside the car on my nice leather interior. When I opened the door I realized they must have slammed the door shut because the second I pulled the handle, the pressure from the bumper covers forced the door to fly open and almost fall out. It really ticked me off to see these dirty parts inside my car. I felt like I no longer had a choice on whether or not to go somewhere else. My car was in pieces. I obviously left the car for them to fix. I never got my "phone call with an estimate". They just decided to do it on their own. Then onto going to pick my car up. I was so excited. I bought this car new and have loved it for 10 years now. When I first pulled in it looked great from afar. Then as I got closer I realized it was filthy. They only cleaned and polished the panels they worked on which shocked me. My car is black. So some of the sections of the car were gleaming and looked brand new while other parts were absolutely filthy. It looked ridiculous. I mentioned it to the shop manager and half way through my sentence he started walking away from me and with a snarky attitude he snapped at me "you didn't pay for auto detailing, you paid for us to fix your car. It's fixed" My chest started pounding. My girlfriend saw the look on my face and calmed me down. I was furious. Then as I approached my car to leave I realized my driver side window was down 3 inches or so. I told them when I dropped it off to not put the window down. I stressed it multiple times. They put a piece of packing tape on my window that said "do not move window" and left it there. I peeled it off only to leave a 5 inch long by 2 inch thick stipe of glue from the tape. Again I was furious. Judging by the smell inside the car I'm assuming it was down the whole couple weeks they had the car. The windows were fogged up from the moisture inside. They kind of just shrugged their shoulders like they didn't give 2 shits when I asked them to clean it off so I could open the window. I want to give them a 2 star rating for how I felt treated. But because they did do a really good job with the work I'll give them a 3. I certainly won't be going back there. If someone told me they were going to bring their car there I would say their work was nice but be careful. My interaction with them was not positive. Oh, and one more thing. It's hard to say if this was just coincidence or not but I find it hard to believe they had no idea. A warning would have been nice. I got about 5 miles from their shop and ended up stuck at a gas station. The clutch was completely toast. I've had this car 10 years and never had a problem. Literally not even 1 time have I broken down. 10 minutes after leaving their shop I was broken down off to the side of the gas pumps. The clutch felt weird the second I left. I knew something was wrong. It just kept getting worse and worse every shift until the clutch was fully compressed down to the floor. I was lucky to roll into the gas station. I never even contacted them about it because everyone knows how all mechanic shops of any kind respond to "you broke my car" complains. I don't have the energy to try to fight with them over it. So I left their shop and brought it directly to another shop for more repairs. It was very disappointing. read more

I am given a three star only for the work. The service person I delt with only called or text me after I reached out to him many times about ETA On my car repair. After each response I got and theETA t came and went always with an excuse of why it was not done. Was not at all impressed with customer service. Very very poor service. What a joke of a body shop!! Took my SUV here after hitting a deer and what a mistake. I have performance and upgraded parts on my SUV and the employees had no clue had to install many simple things. To start, the front bumper cover wasn't even installed correctly and had no fasteners to even hold it on to the brackets. I had to install my own head light and fog light bulbs since no one there seemed to know how to do simple mechanical work. Apparently no one there knows how to weld aluminum to install an electric fan shroud to fit my radiator. Thank God I live in the area, my coolant hose was barely attached to my radiator and was leaking the whole way home. No coolant could've meant some major problems for my engine. My transmission cooler wasn't installed correctly and was leaking. If I didn't find this leak my transmission could've overheated and could've been completely destroyed. I wouldn't recommend this shop to install anything. Stay far far away!! read more

Worst customer service ever! Pulled in to get a quote to repair a scratch on my door and the man inside came out and yelled at me for parking in one of the parking spots! Said he has cars being pulled around and he needs the spots. I guess my business wasn't as important to him. Ashamed to see that he was a USAA authorized shop. I've dealt with better. Front desk mgr was rude and didn't have customer interests as his main concern. I have since discovered that after they painted my car...they had to remove the front bumper to match the paint. The bumper has many sensors that communicate with the car computer to control several of the car's important features. The sensors in the bumper were not reconnected properly and continued to cause fault codes in the computer and affected the operation of critical functions of the car. I found this out after having the car serviced and scans run by a certified technician. This cost me additional $. I will try to avoid going to them (Rick's) in the future. read more
