I had seen it before in this shopping center where I get frozen yogurt, but wasn't sure if it was open because there was no jewelry displayed in the window. But Ken is most definitely there working his magic! He buzzed me in and took a look at my broken bracelet and explained the repair needed. I recently brought in 4 rings to be sized larger. Ken did an ok job and charged exorbinately. The rings never would go on my fingers easy. I brought them back and he told Me I wasn't putting them on correctly. he applied lotion and squeezed them on. Not happy I went back again. He was very rude,agreed to make two bigger. I had not heard from him so I went back two weeks later . He gave me my rings again applying lotion and telling me I wasn't putting them on correctly. When I got home I from them off and was shocked. the engagement ring had a crack and a hole in the setting The wedding ring and the other were full of wrinkles and extremely b thin A child coulI have done better. i since brought them to a more reputable jeweler and have ,done a professional job . Today I walked into Cartel Jewelry to talk about my Michelle Watch that I was told needed major repair by another watch repair store in La Quinta. This store in La Quinta who usually replaces my watch batteries told me the battery was fine and that my watch needed major work and would cost around $250. After Ken, the owner of Cartel Jewelry took a quick look at my watch he said, "all you need is a battery". He replaced the battery while I waited and my watch was fine.
