Hands down my favorite honey lavender matcha in town! You can honestly taste each flavor in every sip. Idk how they do it! This place is pretty easy to get to but parking can be tricky depending on the time of day. The inside gave me an open, rustic vibe with plenty of seating. I feel like this would be a great spot to study or when you change up the scenery while WFH. It's bright and spacious, with lots of places to sit and chat or work, and they display local art on the walls. The music is always good and the crew is super friendly. I've been to the one on Campbell and they one seemed to be more friendly. The decor in the inside was amazing but when I went the internet was out. So meh. The service wasn't really that great and waiting 10 minutes for coffee when there was minimal people on a Sunday afternoon seemed lackluster. I got an iced tea match and it was $6 which meh! The unique material designs incorporate details that add to comfort: rounded edges of the huge glu-lam communal tabletop makes for more ergonomic "leaning in." The eased edge of the steel plates, a not-inexpensive and time consuming fab detail tell us, the customer, that the owners/designers care about our comfort. Dinged one star for the unmitigated, exceedingly hot steel entry door handle and some seemingly limited classic espresso drinks. Could do without the recycled taxidermy animal heads, also from Johnny Gibson's? They kind of point to a certain nihilism of design. If only the owners would adhere to as meticulous attention to 'what each item says' and to maintaining them as they did to design and training, then maybe 5 stars. read more

I feel like this place was a transplant from Portland or Austin. It is very industrial-chic and the air of the kind of beer/coffee hybrid place that is for the "cool kids". But, it actually was not off-putting or intimidating at all. They have a plethora of coffees and myriad of ways in which to serve you a cuppa joe. They also offer beer on draught. I came here 3x while in Tucson and was not particularly blown away by either their coffee or beer, but it was definitely good quality and you are paying for it. Each of my visits here was a different experience each time. The staff can either be very engaging and informative, pretentious, or hipster stand-offish.
