The dentist explained the procedure and made it as pain free as possible. I was amazed !! I thought I'd be sore for a while but after the numbness wore off from the Novocaine I experienced some discomfort that was relieved by 400 mg of ibuprofen and then I was fine. If you have dental anxiety this is the office you need! The environment is calm and homey. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and at ease. Then there is Dr B! Dr B is so amazing! He has a wonderful sense of humor that makes the entire office a joyful environment and greatly reduces the anxiety of a dental visit. I had to have dentures placed and he was so gentle and did such an amazing job surgically that my recovery was unbelievably quick and not nearly as painful as I had anticipated. He had to remove all my remaining teeth due to a medication I was on for 6 months that caused my teeth to become brittle and break at the gum line. I did not have one bruise, or even the slightest swelling. He is THAT GENTLE and is truly exceptional in his technique. I will always recommend this wonderful amazing dental group. Biltmore Commons has asked me to leave a review. I cannot in good faith say anything nice about…read morethis place. I am new to the area and was recommended to this practice. My old practice was a single dentist, a few dental assistants and a receptionist. You spend your entire visit with the dentist and he provides you an honest summary of your visit. The total visit is under a half hour. Biltmore Commons has 6 Dentists and at least that many dental hygienist and more dental assistants and receptionists. You spend the majority of your visit with your hygienist and about 2 minutes with the dentist. Because there is so much overhead you get a Spirit Airlines experience where you are constantly getting upsold nonsense. The hygienists are more like used car salesmen than people who clean your teeth. I have been to this place twice and they have tried selling me laser treatment ($100) night guards ($800), Invisilign, a Waterpick ($120), an additional cleaning, and they were going to try to sell me an electric toothbrush if I didn't already have one. The hygienists don't give up the entire visit until you say yes to something. The dentist never says you need any of these things. I never went through with any of these scams. And I will not be going to Biltmore Commons ever again. My first visit was 2 hours (with x-rays) and my second was almost an hour (without x-rays). I have a life and my time is not valued. My recommendation is to find a dentist with less overhead where they can pay for their practice with just regular dental work and not ancillary products.
