I shop at Bath and Body works for gifts mostly. I walked in to purchase some bath stuff for teachers. I came in (during a lunch break so I had to move quick). I was instantly approached by a worker who asked what I was shopping for. I told her a candle and lotion. She showed me to some, and that specific scent I was looking for, gave me her opinions on things and I was out in about 10 minute. Quick service, great staff, and efficent. read more

Love Bath & Body Works. This is the closest location to us. Employees have always been very friendly and helpful. They are very kind. We appreciate their sales and our items are always neatly wrapped. They have a variety of deliciously smelling bath products. Fresh and so clean clean! The store is neat and organized. There is no customer service in this store.I was not greeted nor asked for help. I was looking for a trendy lotion nobody assisted me the sales clerk was looking the other way and not bothering helping me. The people that work there looked bothered so I left not buying anything of their rudeness. No wonder stores are closing there is no more customer service! read more

Words really cannot describe the experience I've had. My usual go to be another location but I wanted to try this location. When I walked through the door I was greeted with friendliest and most informative staff. I walked in looking for a lotion that was almost sold out from the Pride collection but was given great alternatives. I want to point out that the worker Phoebe went above and beyond to help me find more scents. She was calm and motivated at her job that even my friends were impress by her customer service. If it weren't for her, I would've just gone home frustrated. If possible, please management give her bonus. Recommend visiting. read more

Sadly I have to make a new one star review as the management has changed since my previous review. I came in to exchange one brand new never used item I had just purchased online and was met with the manager whispering to the employee at the register then was met with intimidation tactics I have noticed managers at this store love to use to discourage customers from exchanging anything. I did nothing wrong and don't deserve this BS treatment. Avoid this location management is AWFUL here now. Sad because this used to be my favorite location. read more

Don't come here without a coupon or just wait for a sale! Or do both! You can save a ton of money and they usually have sales like twice a month, probably more. The employees here are always helpful and friendly. They don't follow you around the store, which is always a good sign because those are the most annoying stores. It's never busy here so you get to actually walk around and check things out unlike the one at the mall. My favorite here are actually the candles and the plug in wallflowers which are scentports/plug in fragance. They have tons of wonderful scents and make any room in your home smell fabulous! Definitely a great place if you want to smell good with all types of lotions, sprays, sanitizers, body wash and everything in between. Workers there are not people friendly. No one asked me for help. I was there for a long time deciding what to buy for Christmas gifts. The manager there didn't even greet customers. Go for the sales, not for the customer service. read more

Staff followed me around the store, asked me for ID when I was checking out with my credit card. This has never happened to me at any other bath and body works. Not to mention my purchase was less than $100. They appeared to be prejudice. I'd rather go to a bath and body works in an urban area and spend my money. read more

I have been around retail most of my life as a customer and in the field working. The staff at the Fairfax store on Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy are very friendly, courteous, helpful and respectful. As a customer I can tell when there should be more staff in place during a heavy customer presence. The employees there communicate, smile and are as productive as possible to ensure good customer service. Not sure who the store manager is but they along with the team definitely are striving to be the best. It seems like the larger stores that are busier have more employees but the customer service is not the same as this particular store. Whom ever takes the time to read this should be proud of the team there and I would recommend traveling a little bit to check out the store. The experience will be different from other higher volume stores. A lot of times numbers are what companies are looking for but in fact the customers enjoy customer service and shopping where employees give the feeling like they care and are appreciated. That is what creates a strong customer base for return shopping. Some stores have traffic from location and will have business without great customer friendly smiling employees. Stopped in for a father's day gift and found the entire store on sale. Encountered Jason. He got me exactly what I needed and quickly. He was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Ended up with a gift for my dad and then some. The guy even packaged up some small items for my kids who were with me and gave them their own bags, which they loved! It's the small things. read more
