Booked my oil change online. Said the price of $85.75 for my make/model of vehicle. When I checked out I was being charged $124.74. I advised that wasn't price I was given when booking appt. Cashier said I'd have to take it up with service so I went back out to address issue. He was like u were charged correct price. Computer doesn't know what vehicle u have and that's probably a starting price. I advised the computer did know what veh I had as I had to input all that info and it quoted me $85.00. He took number said he'd have boss call me. The service guy called back a few minutes later. Said they'd credit me on next service. Well we plan to move and I don't anticipate being here for my next service as well I have no intentions of returning to this dealership. He's like well offer stands. I advised I felt that should honor price given and refund the difference as prior offer is not applicable to me. He conceded and said return for refund. No one at this facility has any kind of appropriate customer service skills. The facility was prob the worst I've ever been to in terms of cleanliness/accommodations of waiting area. Traveling from Kansas City, MO, our 2012 Ram Truck had the engine light come on. We stopped, checked oil and other fluids, temperature was running spot on..... all looked good. Heading to Joplin, 3 hrs away, we got our Coach parked and looked for a dealership nearby. Found Wood Dodge/Jeep/Ram dealership in Carthage... 15 miles away! Great ! We drove over around 1:20 in afternoon. Talked with the Service Tech, Tyler about our problem. AND, that we were only in the area one night. He was a very nice, friendly, gentleman, attentive to our needs and let us know he would have someone look at it right away. Ok.... Cool. We'll wait!! Blessing #1~ Tyler came out, 15 mins later to let me know the problem... a faulty oil sending unit AND they had the part in stock. (Blessing #2). We gave him the green light to fix it. Surprisingly, 20 mins later, Tyler handed my keys to me and said..."you're all set ". (Blessing #3). How lucky could we get...... We were in and out in under 1 hour!!! Fabulous people to work with. We were not in the market to buy a new truck... but to have them repair our truck so quickly, was a good thing !! A big thank you goes out the them. Stay away from this unethical business. This dealership uses false price advertising to lure in potential buyers with significantly lower car prices featured on their website resulting in false prices throughout all online car search portals. Their online advertised price does not clearly state conditions, nor it suggest there might be conditions (by marking it with asterisk for instance) to be aware of. I was able to find one mention of a condition buried in the tiny font in the footer of the page stating that price featured assumes financing through this dealership. I did find that unfortunately after the fact. In addition to advertising lower/unattainable price, sales person never mentioned this is something I need to know before making 150 mile drive to purchase a car, I also called ahead to confirm what I need to bring as this will be a cash purchase. Once we arrived, test drove the car and time came to make a purchase, sales person comes back with price over $2100 higher than advertised, explaining that their online price is only if we finance and trade in old car. We were ok with financing part of the purchase to get this price, but sales person was adamant that we need a trade in on top of financing. Again I will mention that on their website there was no mention of trade in requirement. Absolutely wasted time, what's worse the car was well worth the extra $2100, and we would have paid it if we knew that upfront, but we refuse to give business to shady business people - stay away, there are plenty dealerships with good people. read more

So I went to Carthage dodge Jeep to look at a Jeep I had been looking at for a while online. I test drove it and liked it. When I asked about remote start and keyless entry they said it would be cheaper to get it done at M & M or creative car audio. So I got the Jeep only to find out you can't add remote start to a manual, and you can't add keyless entry, or if you do it cost around a grand and you can't add power windows! So basically they lied knowing all this since they're in the business and I got stuck with an ok Jeep! Now I'm paying extra to get something I really want with all the extras! I would not trust anyone at Carthage dodge Jeep or ford! Horrible people! read more

Pushy service to begin with we didn't had enough down payment and not long enough work history ? Half a year ago we moved and straight started working after this he tried selling us a car more expensive which doesn't make any sense. We didn't receive the title when we bought the car as first time car buyers we didn't know our fault. Well our tag expired this Saturday we were told on Wednesday by one of the employees just to come in and get another dealers tag due to the fact it's not our fault someone there messed up. So we called Friday were told off and being treated really rudely !!!!! That the title would be there Saturday big surprise it was not in the mail. Not to mention I will buy my car elsewhere as well as the rest of my family ! read more

We had a small issue with our vehicle on a recent road trip. We happened to pull off the highway right by the Jeep dealership. Tyler in the service department is efficient and courteous and was able to fix our car and get us back on our way. If we lived in the area, I would certainly give them our repeat business. read more
