I went to them to install my front and rear dash cameras, I explained that I wanted the rear camera installed in a certain position without using screws and to use the fuses provided by the camera supplier, they didn't do either. The rear camera gets hit by things I load into the back (because they placed camera where they wanted) not where I wanted them to put it. They hard wired the system without using a single fuse. When I questioned them about the fuses they lied right to my face and told me they did use the fuses, but it directly wired to the wiring harness below the fuse box. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USE THIS PLACE. I went back twice to no avail. read more

Michael from Cartunes in Taos NM is an absolute pervert. Please use caution when doing business with this individual. This business put an interlock system on my girlfriend's car at the request of her parents. During the installation this scumbag continuously made inappropriate comments while instructing her how to blow into the unit. Even suggesting that she practice on male to get the "blowing procedure correct". I thought this was very unprofessional when she arrived home and explained what happened. You have to have this devices re-calibrated monthly. She insisted I accompany her the next time she had to go, which I did. I thought everything was okay but while I was inside the business, Michael approached my girlfriend while she was in my vehicle. He asked her to get into his truck, which she did cautiously. He again started to make inappropriate comments and she exited the vehicle. Upon her next visit she texted him to setup her appointment. This guy starts to get creepy. Michael's texts to her included: "So do I get a big hug....", "Thanks can't wait until tomorrow....I get to see you", "I love to see you", "So do I get to see you some time if I fix it", "I saved you money on the install", "Thanks you are amazing" and "wished I could have stayed hugging you longer". She contacted me after this appointment and sent me screens shots of there conversation. She told me she was extremely uncomfortable with encounter. She paid extra to have this interlock system removed due to interactions with Michael at Cartunes. This individual in my opinion should not be in operation. read more

I read reviews and almost did not go here. I am glad that I went. The carwash down at the Quad did not want to inform us that they shorted out the cigarette lighter multiple plug outlet. so I foolishly plugged it into 3 different outlets in 2 different vehicles and shorted out every plug I had access to before I realized what had happened. these guys quickly diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and fixed up installation of an after market XM radio, hiding wires, and securing the installation. all at a reasonable price. I would recommend it. My lovely wife had to bring her car in as well. her experience was also very professional. Not sure what happened with other reviews. Customer service is not their specialty. Had an issue with a product installed, and had to follow up multiple times before the issue was addressed. Owner was indifferent at best to providing proactive customer service. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

i brought my vehicle in to have 4 speakers installed in the doors . as simple as it gets , right ? turns out when when i showed up to have the work done i was told the price i was quoted was only for 1 of the 2 doors . what ?! ok , now its double the quote but i was there and wanted to support local business . so i bit the bullet and left the car there . when i returned i found out i was also being surcharged for some cheap ole " scosche " grills put on what i was told were alpine speakers. never was told or agreed on grills , another hidden charge . the next day i turned up only to have distortion and popping in the sound . these guys ran 2 WIRES FOR 4 SPEAKERS ALL HOOKED INTO THE FRONT OUTPUT . i call bull on this business altogether . who knows what speakers they put in there . liars , cheaters , bad business . read more
