Stopped by one of my dad's favorite spots, Casa Amigos Mexican Grill, and overall it was a nice experience. The place is really nice, the staff was friendly, and we were seated right away, which is always a plus. We started with the queso and chips as an appetizer and it's always a good choice. For my meal, I ordered the cheese enchiladas. They were a little different than what I'm used to, so they weren't my favorite, but still okay. The texture was a bit off for me and kind of like a rolled tortilla without much filling, and not as much cheese as I expected, which made it a little hard to fully enjoy. My dad ordered his go-to, the steak fajitas, and he loved them as always and he even had leftovers to take home. We both got the frozen margaritas, and they were really good and definitely the kind you have to be careful with because they go down easy! Even though my dish wasn't a hit for me, the overall vibe, service, and drinks were great. I'd definitely come back to try other items on the menu. read more

I really wanted to love this place because the food was genuinely good, fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. Unfortunately, the experience was completely overshadowed by something unacceptable. The servers added a tip to my card without my consent or authorization. I only noticed after checking my bank account a couple days later. Adding charges to a customer's bill without permission is not just disrespectful, it's potentially illegal. Tipping should always be voluntary, not forced or secretly included after the fact. It's disappointing because the kitchen clearly does great work, but practices like this completely break trust with customers. No matter how good the food is, I can't support a business that handles payments this way. Until they fix this and respect customers' right to choose their own tip, I won't be coming back. read more

We tried this place out for dinner last night and it was delicious. I believe they're new? They are located where "Hatfield's" used to be. The salsa was good. There were chunks of onion and cilantro. It had a nice kick to it. I ordered a mangonada & my husband ordered a house margorona. Both of our drinks were pretty tasty. I didn't feel any buzz after drinking mine. My husband drank half of his and he said he felt a buzz. He ended up not finishing it since we had to drive across town. Appetizers: papas locas, ceviche, and queso. All of them tasted delicious. Meals: carnitas & tacos Rojas (birria tacos) I really enjoyed the food and would definitely be back. read more

Amazing food! I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant someone my husband works with suggested this place because his brother bought it and it did not disappoint. A flour tortilla filled with nothing but delicious flavorful roasted pork; then covered with the best verde sauce I have had. Perfect beans and rice with the meal, served on a scorching hot plate. Signed my slip for the bill with a 20% rip. No receipt was available. I used my debit card. The final amount $4 more than I signed for. My daughter and I asked if a single portion of fahitas, with me only eating one fahita would be adequate. He said, oh no! You need to order the double portion. ​it was way too much food! I signed my slip for $12.30... the final about that went thru was $16.43! The manager was defensive and said they don't keep the receipts and I need to show my receipt, which they told me was not available. I ordered the green chili pork and it came with delicious beans, fluffy rice, fresh made flour tortillas, chips and salsa. I ordered it to go and was shocked when I got home and saw how much food there was. I ate it for three meals. It was so good. Wow, just wow! Very fresh with lots of flavor. I had the Lunch Flautas and my husband the Lunch Pick 3 with Chimichanga, Enchilada and beans. My family took me to this new place. It was ok. Ordered small cheese dip and they brought me a large. My plate didn't come w rice and beans which didn't say on the menu. Order a side of rice for my child. It was mushy. My plate of enchiladas supreme wasn't very good. Chili relleno was ok. Tamales was ok. I prefer other places. read more

Just want to say that my hubby and I really enjoyed coming into your restaurant and trying your food today. The staff there were wonderful and so kind and professional. And we really enjoyed the authentic Mexican atmosphere. We don't get to eat out often as we don't have the money to do so; and we've been looking for a real authentic Mexican restaurant to get really good food at. I think we finally found one with your establishment. The prices were reasonable as well and I definitely don't mind paying a good price for good food for a change. Plus, my hubby accidentally handed the lady way more money than he thought he did and she was so honest and returned it to him. She could have kept it and we would never had known how much he way overpaid. We definitely will tell our family and friends about this place and will definitely be coming back.
