Honestly i have nothing bad to say other than the fact that i was dining here earlier around 5-6pm and witnessed a heated exchange between a older male (im guessing a supervisor/superior) and a young hostess. It ended up with the young girl in tears. I understand Spanish and when i tell you that the manner in which he was speaking to her out loud infront of the host stand for everybody in the restaurant to hear is unbelievably unprofessional. That entire situation was not a pleasant thing to see considering that I expect a kind and welcoming atmosphere to have my dinner at. Do better and treat your employees with respect especially infront of your own customers. read more

We went to Los Mariachis with 5 kids and 5 adults. They sat us quickly and impressed us from start to finish. The food was all fantastic, flavorful and more than we could eat. The prices were great, I was able to pick up the whole bill and look important when the bill really was not much. I've tried many other Mexican restaurants and this is now our go to place. The drinks were great as well and we learned that you can even get a takeout margarita. No need to look further for Mexican food, this is the place. read more

The service was impeccable. The food was good but not quite as good as last visit. We got chili rellenos again. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and has nice decor. They charged us for using a credit card. I don't remember that's happening last time. I don't know if we just didn't notice. We didn't see any mention of that in the menu or any place. They have a fairly wide variety of normal Tex Mex dinners and the food tastes wonderful! The place is clean and the services very good.

This place is pretty good. We all enjoyed our food and the portion sizes were pretty big. The service was excellent he was very nice and quick. As for the building it self. They are kinda off the beaten path but they were busy when we got there. They had music playing and with a combination of people the noise level wasn't too high to where you couldn't talk to people. Wanted to like this place but it's a no. Starting with the nastiest menus I have ever been handed. Cheese sauce and food all. Thought maybe it was just mine but all 4. Tables peeling and seats are too high for the table top. If there is no care in the front of the house what is the back like? On to food. Bland white queso for a fee, Salsa is free but this is not salsa but a taco sauce with pieces of cilantro and a random onion piece here and there. What a miss! Food is mid at best. Will not be back. Got the pollo loco - chicken covered in cheese and sausage it was very tasty. The chicken may have been a bit over cooked but the other ingredients made up for that. Was not a fan of the house salsa, it was too watery for my liking and not spicy enough. Got a bowl of the hot sauce, it was respectable and good when added to the queso. Great food and amazing service at Mariachis. Menu is diverse enough to eat here often and never get bored. I have quite a few faves: tortilla soup, guacamole, refried beans with queso, breakfast tacos are amazing, pineapple chicken is soo good, cheesy chicken rice is a comfort go-to...and the margs are amazing. Looks clean and new inside. Because it was "hot and new" and we were in the area, we decided to try it for lunch. Lunch portions were pretty big. I tried the Chile Relleno and a soft beef taco (#1). The taco was large and pretty good. The relleno was OK. Complimentary salsa was pretty spicy (but not overly) as was the red sauce on the relleno. Pretty solid three kind of place. read more

Food was very good! I ordered the shrimp quesadilla that has grilled shrimp, grilled onion and tomatoes with melted cheese (-the bell pepper) it was very tasty and reminded my of the angel special I usually get from senor salsa. My boyfriend got the shrimp chimichanga and he loved it! The Margarita had the perfect amount of tequila;) It's was very clean inside and the staff was very nice. My fiancé and I have been here 5+ times and every time the service is getting worse. They took 15 minutes to acknowledge we were sitting in the booth they sat us in. Once we got our food, they got my order wrong took two seconds to bring out my enchiladas and the cheese inside was not melted at all and my fiancés chimichanga was soggy, not crispy. Food and service are both always great. I like how quickly you can get in and out for dinner. My personal favorite is the Carne Tapatía which is beef tips or grilled chicken covered in a creamy queso and served with warm tortillas, rice and beans. (I get a combo of both chicken and beef, because both are great. The meat is cut into thin strips (smaller than fajita strips and smothered in queso)! My wife's "go-to" selection is always the street tacos. read more

We have been to Los Mariachis several times since they opened, and to be fair this is the first time that we have had a lack of service. After being seated and eating chips for more than 10 minutes, no one offered to take our drink order, so I went to the desk to offer to pay for the chips when finally a male server was at the table, made excuses that he was in the back cleaning. Before that we had another server that went to the booth behind us 3 times, walked by our booth at least twice, and never said a word. Buy hey, at least the chips were on the house. So excited that a Mexican Restaurant opened up so close to home! We went in on a Friday at 6:45PM. Even though, it was super busy, we sat down pretty fast! We got a table by the bar area. Love the TV's they have in there! Our server Miguel was very attentive and came to our table quick, got our drink and appetizer order. We started off with a Large Queso. (They give you chips and salsa as soon as you sit down) we got a house margarita and a Sunrise Margarita! Y U M! For our main dishes, I got the Carne Asada. The carne was cooked to perfection! I got corn tortillas so I made some tacos out of it myself! My husband got the chimichanga! Overall- the food was very authentic and had great flavors. The service was above and beyond! Food was ok, service was horrible and slow. Ordered the chicken enchiladas and the fish tacos. Both meals were fairly bland. The hint of flavor seemed good, but it was Bailey there. I would suggest the grilled fish over fried. The margarita was fairly watered down and their margarita salt tasted funny. The chips were a little stale and not salted at all. The service was the worst part! It took an hour to get our food. Our drinks and chips were never refilled, and after we ordered our food, we didn't even see our waiter until 15 minutes after we were done eating. Not sure what he was doing for 1.5 hours. I did see him once standing near the bar watching the soccer game. - Yes, someone else brought us our food. It wasn't hot, so who knows how long it was sitting there. After a long day of moving some household items, we were HANGRY! Our relatives knew the area and took us to Los Mariachis. It was DELICIOUS! I had the Burito el Grande with their grilled chicken, my wife had a chimi changa with shredded chicken, her cousin had a plate with grilled shrimp and mushrooms, and other also had a chimi..... it was ALL good, flavorful (you know how some Mexican food is kind of bland??? This ISN'T!!) We will go again if we are in the area. Highly recommended! read more

It is wonderful to have another option to eat in South Jenks without having to navigate the Tulsa Hills traffic, but the bland food and not entirely clean dining experience left us feeling like this is more of an average eatery. After being seated in a booth, we both remarked on how the booth material was clinging to our clothes, so not a great start. Spots of the table were also sticky, so the attention to detail by the bus staff is not fantastic. The menu offers what Americans expect from a Mexican restaurant. The chips are thick and crispy, and the salsa comes in abundance, albeit in a very mild flavor. We had a side of guacamole, which came out with a shiny exterior, indicating it had been sitting in the bowl for some time, not made recently. We ordered a double portion of the signature fajitas, which contained shrimp, chicken and skirt steak. The portions were generous, but the flavor was left back in the kitchen. A distinct lack of spice was offset only by the abundance of lime. Oddly, the side plates with the fajitas were lacking any cheese. The staff was attentive, and the price is on the right side of affordable. Some attention by the management could turn this into something special, rather than a place getting by due to the lack of other options in the neighborhood. read more

Just moved to Glenpool, the stars were not so great at this restaurant but gave it a chance because I didn't want to drive and I wanted Mexican food. I had the three meat trio as pictured below. Expectations weren't high but I must say it was damn good. My son ate the left overs(in the middle of the night) and agreed it was damn good. Not sure why the place got low stars...maybe due to a slight language barrier. But if we are going to go solely on food I give it . Price range is on point.
