So happy to have found Casa Columbia. Went with friends for dinner, Sara waited on us, she was patient and attentive. The food was delicious: had the Guacamole con Chicharrón y Tostones appetizer, our main dishes were all great, the Pechuga a la Plancha and Pechuga en Crema de Champiñones. The best yuca fries I have ever had! The portions were generous and we all had leftovers. The cocktails were tasty too and pretty. The location is easy to get to from the Palisades. The inside is family friendly with TV's showing sports, has a nice sized bar and their bakery is conveniently next door. I highly recommend Casa Columbia.

Great place! Best Colombian food in Rockland. It's comparable to Jackson Heights in Queens. Affordable place, great service, and even better food! Have been there a few times and will continue to do so!

This place just opened near my old college and it didn't disappoint any of us. The portion sizes are very big for the prices of everything and the live music was great! The service was quick, my water glass was never empty. The food was excellent, a nice taste of Columbia :D....Definitely worth our time we will be coming back

First time here. What a warm welcoming and great personable staff we loved that it is a family owned restaurant with a lot of love they put into their food and drinks. We had guacamole for an appetizer was delicious and for dinner churrasco the meat was full of flavor and tender. Drinks were amazing and what a beautiful presentation. The rice pudding was definitely made with love was delicious. We found our new favorite restaurant. We highly recommend trying it.

Over the years, I've noticed that both the food quality and service have been inconsistent. There have been visits where I left very satisfied with both the staff and the food. However, there have also been occasions when unexpected charges appeared on the final bill, which was disappointing. On this most recent visit, the food was good overall, I'd describe it as average and fair for the price. The restaurant was busy, though not completely full, since they were showing the Brazil vs. Norway soccer match. They definitely have the setup and atmosphere for soccer fans, especially with the World Cup excitement. One downside involved our drinks. We ordered a Passion Fruit Margarita and a Passion Fruit Caipirinha. Since they looked almost identical, we weren't sure which was which when they arrived. The drinks were dropped off by the manager, not our waitress, and he walked away immediately. When we called him back to ask which drink was which, he replied in a slightly ironic tone, "Which one do you think it is?" We explained that was exactly why we were asking as we could not identify. He then said one had sugar on the rim and the other had salt. Unless you're a bartender or taste each drink, that's not immediately obvious. It wasn't a major issue, but I was surprised by the response. A simple, courteous answer would have been appreciated. There was another interaction that left a similar impression. We asked our waitress approximately how long the food would take because we were considering ordering an appetizer if the wait was long. Her response was simply, "I don't know, and I can't tell you how long." While I understand exact times aren't always possible, a more helpful response would have gone a long way. I would have gladly given this place one more star if those service interactions hadn't happened. The food was decent, but the customer service made the experience less enjoyable. I'm not sure whether I'll choose this location again, especially considering it isn't an inexpensive restaurant. I hope they can improve the level of hospitality because the food and for this World Cup season the soccer atmosphere certainly have potential.

Besides almost every table full at 1:15 lunch...including the back room and it is a large restaurant. We were seated without a wait. Took longer to navigate the huge menu. Hubby and I just wanted a light lunch. He ordered the chicken wings and I ordered the "fish" sandwich w/o cheese. Unfortunately, I was served the chicken sandwich not the requested fish sandwich. It still came with avacado, onions, tomato and lettuce. (No cheese as requested). Once I took a bite I realized I had the wrong sandwich. I was disappointed. Waiter apologized and offered to switch it up...I can see he felt bad and we were not quite sure where we both messed up...could have been me? Him? Not a big deal...I just kept it and enjoyed. Chicken was slighty dry (cheese would have fixed the dryness) but seasoned perfectly. It was a large sandwich with two layers of thin grilled chicken. I would split it next time. I like the way it was served...wrapped in a paper. I requested un-seasoned fries and my request was honored. It was all a generous portion. The restaurant is high energy, food around us all looked delicious and fresh, cocktails looked really good...I wanted to taste the cappuccino martini next to us...tempting to order one. Service was timely, friendly and efficient. Noise level a tad high however it was easy enough to carry on a conversation. Overall, I understand the reason this place was so busy...definately a solid fun place...wish it were on my neighborhood as I enjoy exploring different dishes. Thumbs up for sure.

This review is not the easiest for me to write. I have been coming to the Little Columbian…read morerestaurant since 2015. I loved this place, their food was fantastic and the quality was super consistent; an excellent spot to get together with friends or a date. So much attention to detail was paid, house made dressing, salsa, all ingredients were super fresh, the meats were always cooked excellently, and the staff was friendly. I hadn't been to the restaurant in a while but at some point in the last few years the Little Columbian restaurant became My little Columbian restaurant. My friends and I went there for dinner at the end of October, there was one couple that was leaving the restaurant but we were the only ones there when we first walked in. The vibe of the restaurant has changed because they changed how they decorated the interior of the restaurant. I prefer their older vibe but no big deal. Our waitress was nice and very attentive all night and the staff in general was quite friendly. Here's my issue, the food quality is not as good as it was in the past. And if they are going to charge along the same lines as what they have, always been on the pricier side, then the quality should still be at the same level. There were a bunch of little things that added up. To start, the salad I ordered didn't have the same quality of greens (I think they used a spring mix in the past), there were some small bits of core in the salad. More to my disappointment the Salad dressing was no longer the house dressing they used to make it was Ken's balsamic dressing, which generally tastes like diabetes syrup. Maybe it was an off night for the salad and I could live with that but the lack of the old house dressing was disappointing. Speaking of cutting corners, the chimichuri used to be super fresh and of good quality ingredients. The chimichuri this time around had a lower quality olive oil and the parsley was dried instead of fresh. My friend ordered some empanadas, which were partially burnt and again the slasa wasn't the same quality as they used to make with the empanadas. For an entree, I ordered Bandeja Columbiana. The chicharon was a bit overdone but ok enough. The chorizo was probably the best part but you have to try to mess up chorizo. The maduro was kind of dry and somewhat bland. The chicken was a touch rubbery and the steak was fine; nothing to write home about. As I had mentioned before the food wasn't terrible, it was fine enough but it was not worth the price it cost. Much worse is the fact that the quality in general just isn't the same as it had been prior, maybe they just had an off night but something tells me this is how it is now. It's too bad this restaurant isn't quite what it was; it used to be one of my favorites.

Rinconcito has an old time diner feel to it - you have the option of sitting up at the counter on raised red stools or at one of the 3 small tables against the wall. It can get a little warm in there, but only because you are right next to the kitchen no matter where you sit! The first time we came here, I made the mistake of ordering a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll. What was I thinking?!? Yes, it was good, but I was being too cautious. I tried some of my bf's empanada and I was INSTANTLY hooked! We wound up ordering a second round of empanadas that morning! Since then, we've gotten take out a few times - I got to try the chicharrone. So sinful, but so delicious! Not to mention the salsa verde that they give you with each order...MMM! I'm counting the days til I can get back up to NY to gorge myself on Colombian food again!!
