I've been here numerous times, due to my shell fish allergies they have always accommodated small changes, which I appreciate yesterday. Adrian was being very nasty and would not accommodate anything. Service was very un attentive, and the manager was arrogant. The food came out cold when we asked them to warm it up a little they brought it over cooked, dry and chewy. Yesterday was such a disappointment for me in my favorite restaurant. I can assure you I will not be returning. And they want to charge 4 dollars for butter and garlic for my tostones that were over cooked and dry. they have really gone down. SAD! read more

What a Huge Disappointment, Noches! I've been coming to Noches for years--starting with the Englewood location, then supporting this one since day one when we moved up here. I've been to just about every Noches in Jersey. Sure, sometimes they've fallen short, but I always stayed loyal. This morning I went for takeout and ordered my usual: chorizo, chicharrón, and pan de bono. When I got home and opened the bag, I was honestly shocked. For seven dollars, what I got was basically nothing. The portions were insulting--barely a bite of food--and yet the prices keep climbing higher and higher. I understand costs have gone up, but there's a big difference between fair pricing and blatantly ripping off loyal customers. This was the latter. After all these years of supporting Noches, today felt like a slap in the face. Sadly, you've lost a customer who used to recommend you everywhere. I was happy to discover a Noches De Colombia in Nanuet NY since we decided to drive up for a weekend getaway. I am a huge fan of the Elizabeth NJ and Woodbridge NJ locations. This one is nice, what's different? They do not have the tablet menus and they don't have the musical instruments when they sing happy birthday. What they do have is great food! The freshness and flavor are just like the other locations I love. Our server Jorge was efficient and professional. The ambiance of the restaurant is bright and fun. Came for a quick bite to eat with a friend and I having never been to this Noches location and it being close to home we opted to come here. The menu is much smaller than most locations. Which was a bit misleading as their online menu offers more dishes than the physical menu. Parking is a bit tight and crowded in their lot as there is a hotel right across the lot. I ordered the mar y mar which was good the flounder was cooked just right. The shrimp were a bit overcooked but still edible. The maduros and rice were on point as always. And the white wine cream sauce was delicious. My friend ordered the red snapper and it was good as usual. Just surprised he was not given a small plate to place the fish bones on. Our server was either very overwhelmed or just not present. Once we ordered and received our food our server seemed to have vanished. I would definitely try this location one more time to see if it was just an off night or this is a normal for this location. read more

Visited family in upstate NY this weekend and it was recommended we try out this restaurant bc of its Colombian food. Sure glad we did! Staff was friendly, bilingual and attentive. Walking in to the left you can purchase baked goods/desserts, behind the hostess is a large bar and to the right is the dining area. Loved how nicely decorated the restaurant was and the menus were so picturesque! I loved that the menus had a photo for every food option available. Having the photos made it easy to choose however at the same time it made it difficult to order just one dish item haha. I ordered the paisita dish and to go, we purchased their famous cheese bread. My husband and I weren't fans of the tres leche and flan however our dinner was great. Food came out fairly quick and ordering the table side guac is a must! They're a bit on the pricy side however you do get large portions. We will definitely be coming back when we are in town. read more

I went here before for appetizers and drinks and loved it! The sangria was amazing, our waitress was so polite and the place was clean. I ordered from them today and was sooooooooo disappointed. I ordered the white rice (it was undercooked and crunchy), the shrimp in garlic (it was very bland, barely tasted of garlic at all), the maduros (these were actually okay) and the flan (it tasted old and kind of stale like it was made quite some time ago). I absolutely love Noches de Colombia and its one of my favorite spots around Nanuet. Its an extremely versatile location for any mood you want. Do you want to grab breakfast to go? They have a bakery with coffee. Do you want to sit down for a relaxing lunch or dinner? They have delicious arepas and chicharron dishes. Do you want to party or watch a sports game? GRAB THEIR BULLDOG AND VIBE WITH FRIENDS! Noches competently provides all of these experiences. The only real downside I have for Noches is that it might be hard to communicate with the staff if you don't know Espanol. HOWEVER the staff are still very friendly and accommodating regardless. I have never had bad service here. I highly recommend checking out Noches de Colombia if you have not already visited. There is bound to be something you like here! read more

The restaurant needs to reconsider the delivery app they're using--currently, you don't see the estimated arrival time until after you've paid, and it turned out to be almost an hour. Despite the destination being only five minutes away, the delivery still arrived late. The app they use, CHOWNOW, offers an ETA, but it's completely unreliable. There is no real-time tracking, no location sharing--just a vague promise of when your food might arrive. For those relying on timely delivery, especially people with dietary needs or medical conditions, this kind of delay could be dangerous. Most upsetting was the impact on the rest of my day. Because of how late the food arrived, my entire schedule was thrown off--missed appointments, delayed responsibilities, and unnecessary stress. And for what? I have come here - physically many a time but when it comes to take out or delivery... this establishment botches it up whether they forget to fulfill the order in its entirety or whether like tonight, you place an order for delivery and two hours have passed with no inkling of where the food is or when it will be delivered despite being hungry and having paid for a meal. When I called to to put out an APB for my dinner I was met with a defensive, hostile, dismissive woman who kept repeating the food is ten minutes away... from where? The Canadian border? Is it caught up in customs? In my best Karen voice, I asked to speak to a manager because it's near closing and food that I paid for still has not arrived. To start, the menu was something I had never seen before; they had images of every item, which was extremely helpful especially for those who may not understand Spanish. I ordered a frozen drink, which was strong and tasteful and ordered the guac and chips as an appetizer. The guacamole was made live in front of us and it was very tasty. As my entree I ordered the shrimp and chicken with tomatoes and onions and got a side of rice and beans- it tasted fantastic! The only negative comment I'd have to make is that they took very long to bring out everything (drinks, appetizer and entree) even though the restaurant was slow and empty. This restaurant can get very busy on the weekends, with issues finding parking. This lets you know how popular the place is. Upon entering I visibly noted the changes which made this a go to spot in the area with the ambient lighting, and live music. There was a little wait time to be seated, but this was expected as they have big crowds. We went with chorizo to start, I will say I was disappointed with the flavor as it was nothing in comparison to what I enjoyed in previous visits. Not sure if it was a different type of sausage or what didn't taste grilled and was lacking in the flavor I loved. My friend got the paella which she seemed to enjoy. I got the rice served in a pineapple. I didn't really enjoy this meal as it tasted like paella in a pineapple instead of what I imagined it would have tasted like. The rice was too moist for my liking and lacked in flavor. I would recommend this place, but would say stick to their classic items that have been on them menu longer. My hubs loves Noches by his work so when he got a craving we tried this one closer to us. I wasn't sure what to expect being that it's a franchise some locations obviously are better than others. Well first off super easy to find right on rt 59. Nice roomy, clean loc with outdoor seating. As soon as we sat down we were greeted by our waiter. Customer service was top notch through the entire meal. Our waiter who I wish I could recall was the bomb. We ordered lots of meats. The Chicharrón was out of this world. Large pieces, perfectly crisp yet chewy. Their chorizo sausage was perfectly seasoned. The beans were eh and I was disappointed that the rice was white. Maybe that's the way it's served in Columbia but I was hoping for a nice Spanish style rice. Prices were reasonable considering the portions were huge. Both my son and I ordered the "Argentinian Churrasco" - this was not skirt steak- Might have been flank steak - not seasoned and cooked to a grey color.
