This is a great little Colombian spot right next to my brother's salon. They have all of the traditional Colombian foods like steak, eggs & rice along with some of the drinks that I've never gotten to taste but always see at Colombian restaurants. They also have some of the basic Spanish & American food, but I don't mess with that stuff. I can tell it's not their thing. Stick with the empanadas, arepas, and traditional Colombian food. All of that stuff is really good.

We found this little Colombian gem, because it's across the street from the bike shop were my husband services his bike. I am Colombian and I always crave "my" food. The place is family run, very attentive and has a polite staff. The food is very good and fresh! We usually have breakfast (Arepas, coffee, eggs) the but last time we had lunch, chicken soup with all the Colombian fixings! Fantasic! It's not fancy but it reminds me of home! :)

So happy to be eating Columbian food! My dad's family is from Bogota and I had wanted to order the Ajiaco (chicken and potato soup common in Bogota) but they didn't have any today. Instead, I ordered a lentil soup that one of the other customers recommended, which was delicious. I also ordered a pan de bono (savory bread made with yuca flour) and an empanada de res. The manager was extremely friendly and after talking to me he offered for me to try their buñuelos (round slightly sweet bread) and natilla (Christmas dessert). I would definitely recommend and now I get to surprise my dad with some of his favorite treats over the holidays. Yay! The restaurant itself is small and is a diner-style eatery. CASH ONLY.

This place was found walking around New Rochelle and this place is worthy for a eat in when in this town. The food is authentic Latin in flavors and the prices are the best for each meal. If I wasn't living in the state of Florida, I would try everything in the menu... until my death bed. Recommended for anyone who wants a taste of Latin cooking.

Just got in town...wandering around for a lunch spot and saw Columbia House...quickly checked…read more"Yelp" of course...and based on reviews it was a go. Besides almost every table full at 1:15 lunch...including the back room and it is a large restaurant. We were seated without a wait. Took longer to navigate the huge menu. Hubby and I just wanted a light lunch. He ordered the chicken wings and I ordered the "fish" sandwich w/o cheese. Unfortunately, I was served the chicken sandwich not the requested fish sandwich. It still came with avacado, onions, tomato and lettuce. (No cheese as requested). Once I took a bite I realized I had the wrong sandwich. I was disappointed. Waiter apologized and offered to switch it up...I can see he felt bad and we were not quite sure where we both messed up...could have been me? Him? Not a big deal...I just kept it and enjoyed. Chicken was slighty dry (cheese would have fixed the dryness) but seasoned perfectly. It was a large sandwich with two layers of thin grilled chicken. I would split it next time. I like the way it was served...wrapped in a paper. I requested un-seasoned fries and my request was honored. It was all a generous portion. The restaurant is high energy, food around us all looked delicious and fresh, cocktails looked really good...I wanted to taste the cappuccino martini next to us...tempting to order one. Service was timely, friendly and efficient. Noise level a tad high however it was easy enough to carry on a conversation. Overall, I understand the reason this place was so busy...definately a solid fun place...wish it were on my neighborhood as I enjoy exploring different dishes. Thumbs up for sure.

Fun, authentic and mostly delicious Colombian food. Bakery too! :)…read more Very friendly service. Large, very comfortable room. I wish they had fresh juices (not just fake OJ called "fresh") that's the only part that does not feel truly Colombian.

Atmosphere & Vibes: The vibes here are great--comfortable…read moreand inviting with a dim, cozy setting and plenty of seating. I prefer doing take out though. Food & Favorites: I mainly come for the empanadas, which have a nice variety of flavors, from classic to more experimental options, all of which are still really good. They also offer some solid platters, and the sweet plantains (maduros) are a favorite for me! Overall Experience: A great spot with delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere, making it a go-to place for a satisfying meal.

Wow. This place exceeded my expectations. Cute restaurant. Lots of light. Nice dj on Sunday. Good…read moremusic and wasnt so loud we couldn't speak. The staff outstanding. Every worker was amazing. The empanadas were the best I've ever, ever had. Crispy outside. Great filling to ratio. Seasoned well. Not oily. The flavor was soft and delicate. The sangria was delicious. I highly recommend. The blackberry margarita was outstanding. Almost had a hint of a michelada to it. We ordered the platano relleno. Definitely order that. Again the best one I've ever had. Sweet, fresh and the juxtaposition of seasoning to meat and cheese and plantsin was beyond delicious. They also have good Columbian sodas. The apple and cola weren't overly sweet. The pork chicharon ceviche was again the best I've ever tasted. The chicharon here is impeccable. The onions weren't soggy and weren't potent. The blended well with the citrus and chicharon. The bandeja paisa was outstanding. Every protein was cooked perfectly. We ordered steaks that were juicy. The veggies amazing. The cgar grilled tasted yes. Theres an onion and tomato side I could eat plates with the rice. Thats how good it was. The guava and apple empanadas were like fall in the mouth. Well be back. Everything else was phenomenal too. Mango, chicken. Xoxo.
